Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic upgrade and all around service! After contacting the hotel and sharing our anticipated excitement for our stay, we were courteously upgraded to an executive suite. It was a birthday celebration for my wife and the hotel staff, from the Assistant Director of front office, the Concierge, to Rebecca who greeted us at check-in, made this experience one that will never be forgotten. My wife was in total shock as we walked to our room and was about to be even more surprised when she saw the champagne and chocolate covered strawberries awaiting her. I cannot begin to say how appreciative I am for the experience we had at this hotel. Not only would I recommend staying here, just the sheer beauty of the property is worth a quick visit. A great big thank you to the entire IHG team for a wonderful experience. We anticipate spending more time here whenever we return to Boston. p.s. the smell throughout the entire hotel is simply pleasing! May 18, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not as good as the first stay but still enjoy the hotel. Maybe I was spoiled by our first stay two years ago on a higher floor with a view of the river. This time on the 6th and 7th floor the windows open on to the alley between the hotel and the next building. Early morning noise disturbed our sleep, I think it was the garbage truck. The room was fine and I really enjoy the Kuerig coffee machine. The restaurant breakfast was excellent. The staff was accommodating and helpful. When I asked for a late check out, they were kind enough to extend it until 2pm due to my IHG membership. And within walking distance to the port and restaurants there. Hotel is maintain well. The only complains are the wifi was not free in one of our rooms and the toilet paper is of poor quality. For a 5 star hotel, I would expect better paper quality. The amenities in the bathroom are wonderful, workout room nice overlooking Atlantic Ave. I would stay here again, very conveniently located close to South Station. An easy bus ride from the airport to the station and a 5 minute walk to Intercontinental. All in all, a good stay. May 15, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful 5 day stay My daughter and I came to Boston to celebrate our 30/50th birthdays. When we walked through the door to check in the staff was amazing. We thought we would have to leave our luggage with bell service until check in time, however the desk clerk upgraded to a room that was ready since it was our birthdays. As if that wasn't enough she also gave us free coffee at their coffee bar for both of us. I can't say enough about the staff they were friendly, always smiling, and so helpful. We both used the concierge desk several times and they were so helpful. One of them even gave us his card in case we got lost or needed any kind of help. The concierges always greeted us by name and gave us some kind of chuckle to start our day. The facility was gorgeous. Our room was so comfortable and the bathroom had this huge soaking tub and a separate rain shower. The view was immaculate. The restaurants in the hotel were delicious. We even got a warm welcome from the man in the gift shop everyday. He was so helpful with ideas and just very friendly. I cant say enough good about this place. It is right in the middle of everything so we walked everywhere instead of using the T. I can't wait to stay here again. May 14, 2015
