LOCAL CULTURE

DRIVING

As Boston is America's walking city, pedestrians tend to jay-walk. You are better off leaving your car parked and instead take a taxi or limousine, or walk or ride the T (our subway system) to your destination.
A CONTEMPORARY LANDMARK, LUXURY BOSTON WATERFRONT HOTEL
This breathtaking, modern, waterfront hotel stands on the site where the Boston Tea Party ignited the American Revolution. Surrounded by the Fort Point Channel and Rose Kennedy Greenway, find yourself in walking distance of all of Boston’s unique attractions. Dine al fresco at Miel, Boston’s first Provence-themed brasserie and explore this historical city by following the Freedom Trail or antique shopping. An urban retreat, relax and revive at this Boston Harbor hotel with an indoor lap pool.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by spacious room and bathroom Room was spacious and well designed, bathroom was nice with a tub and shower. Cons: We felt the mattress on the bed needed to be changed. It had a pillow top, but it was very hard and we rolled toward each other into the middle of the bed. We paid extra for a King room with a water view. We had to keep the curtain closed, because the view we had was of the rooms right across from us and to the left of our room. Yes, it did have a harbor view if we got right up to the window, and we looked to the right. For the money we paid this was a big disappointment. We had a room right next to the ice machine. It did have a door on it, but yes we did hear it open and close several times at night. I would request a room away from this. Pros: We walked everywhere. It was close enough to all the sites in Boston which was terrific. The registration workers were very nice. 16 April 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Our Go-to place when in Boston We just love our experience every time we stay. It is our "Go-to" place to escape when ever we visit the city. We feel welcomed by all of the staff and have come to know many of them on a first name basis. The location is perfect with the North End, Waterfront, and many great restaurants nearby. 15 April 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful hotel and location High quality of toiletries is one of my indications of a high quality hotel. This hotel met that expectation as the shampoo, soap, lotion and everything else in the bathroom were all great. I had the opportunity of being on the club floor and had access to the lounge. The food was all very delicious and elegantly presented. The staff kept everything meticulously clean including both the areas where the food was available and the dining tables where people ate. 15 April 2015
