Great location right on the Fort Point docks . Outside bar overlooking the water is lovely . Staff were friendly and met all our needs . Lovely pool and spa and excellent restaurants . Will return !     Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Affordable royalty Not all services are created equal. If there were a 10, I have to give this place a 9.5 - but I will explain.... Lets start from the beginning - when you park your vehicle, the greeting you get, regardless of your size, color, car... you are welcomed like a VIP. WELCOMED. That is, for the most part, the feeling. You feel welcome. Then you walk into majestically tall ceilings, and an intoxicating scent permeates the lobby. You drift into another world. Reception? Welcoming, inviting. As are the managers par excellence. Each one. Ambassador? Pay for the hospitality... More on that later! Hungry? Food is superb, no matter where you go in this hotel. It is NOT typical "hotel food". OHH NO. PAINFULLY Clean hotel (except for serious need to reupholster some benches in Miel. SO as long as I'm not seated on the ripped and moldy benches, Im fine. And unfortunately this is one of the -.5 - HOWEVER, renovations ARE underway... So back to 10 for service and food. Mauricio and Katia as managers? IN LOVE! A FAN! Loved Charles Strong, but he has been promoted. Managers like Matthew Meehan, Katia, Mauricio, Charles... Set the bar HIGH. VERY. They will make it perfect. Beautifully perfect. Sushi-Teq? OUT OF BOUNDS. Fresh. SUPER FRESH. Clean, Super clean. Service? Crazy out of bounds. Kate, Katia, Laris, Chef... you name it. You are WELCOMED. You feel WELCOMED. Period. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with the -.5 and giving the 5 for VodkaBa and RumBa - why? The food is delicious! Their fish tacos? LOVELY! Their fried calamari, FANTASTIC. But the service is - blah. Ditto for RumBa. Bartenders were not friendly. Did not feel welcomed. At all. On the contrary. The servers and bartenders seemed to cater to people that looked like "money". The drinks were great. But the service was an odd fit compared to the REST of the crew - inside and outside on the lovely patio. Which now takes me to the AMAZING upgraded room with all the beautiful amenities, the gorgeous bathroom, the plush robes, the lovely toiletries, and OMG PAINFULLY CLEAN! The pillow turn down. AND OMG PAINFULLY - SERIOUSLY CLEAN. And lastly, if you are Ambassador - the hospitality room is definitely worth paying for. The "snacks" are MEALS. The room is simplistically elegant. OMG PAINFULLY CLEAN. Tastefully relaxing decor. Breakfast is BEAUTIFUL! Oh those croissants! Smoked Duck breast. Cured Salmon. Eggs to order. Lovely coffee and tea. Fresh OJ and other chilled juices. Fruit. Home made granola. Cheese. Did I say its BEAUTIFUL? I can't wait to come back for dinner. Or a night getaway! June 26, 2015
