Bucharest

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 117 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great location and staff The hotel is located exactly in the centre. Underground parking available at a very good rate(6 Euro/day) and enough space. A minus here the signage inside of the parking. Taxi available in the front of the hotel. Staff knowleadgeable and customer oriented. If you do not like to take the dinner in the hotel, plenty of opportunities within walking range. 29 July 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location near to the Old Town There was no visible sepatate check in for IHG reward members. We were attended to very promptly by a young lady at reception but unlike at the Intercontinental in Budapest we were not verbally acknowleged as being Priority Club Platinum Members. When we were allocated our room I had to ask if an upgrade had been given and it was confirmed that it had. It would have been nice to be told this without having to ask. Our room was very nice and had good views over the Old Town part of the city at the front of the hotel. We paid for the Club Lounge access for the 4 nights and this was well worth it with all staff there offering fantastic friendly service on each visit. At the Concierge desk we met Alexandra who booked us into a couple of restaurants that we had chosen from the UK. (The Artist bar was fantastic and not to be missed. The Ceru du Bere was rubbish and should be avoided.) Alexandra was very helpfull each time we met and should be praised for her high standards of service. The hotel is in a great location for any type of transport routes to explore the city. Check out was very efficient and a taxi was ordred to take us to the airport. We will use this hotel whenever we return to Bucharest. 28 July 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Geschäftsreise Bukarest Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert für einen Aufenthalt in Bukarest. 21 July 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Klasse Hotel in aufstrebender Stadt Das Interconti in Bucharest ist für mich das 1. Haus am Platz. Nahe des Zentrums, Anschluss zur Metro... 21 July 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Utterly memorable This is listed as one of my favourite hotels and I like to stay here every two years or so because I like Bucharest. It is fascinating to see this wonderful place developing in the post-communist era into a global city. The staff are invariably very professional and help with such things are organising opera tickets etc. They are obviously proud of their city and country and can explain how to get around to enjoy yourself. However, my last visit went beyond anything conceivable. I turned up very late and clearly there was a mix-up in the reservation. Their solution was to upgrade my wife and me to the Presidential Suite. Imagine the delight of playing a white Steinway piano ordered specially for Sr Luciano Pavarotti! Clearly this will not happen to every visitor, and will probably never happen again in my life, but many thanks to all. In any case, this is a wonderful hotel with probably the most pleasant health club (with view) in Europe so come and enjoy! 20 July 2014
