We had an exceptional stay during new years at this hotel. The staff was very helpful and provided great customer service. The hotel is very clean and located in central Buenos Aires. I highly recommend this hotel.

The information received at the check inn was very helpfull as it allow us to access to many of the services included and dont need to ask anything else.
Very proffessional staff make the stay confortable and allow to have a very nice experience.

As a Royal Ambassador, I stay at many InterContinental hotels but I prefer this hotel in Buenos Aires amongst them all.
The hotel sets in the business district of Buenos Aires close to Florida street and Plaza de Mayo.
The Terraza del Virrey offers a traditional fire grill cuisine or 'Parrilla' which is an unmatched tasteful insight into the culinary arts of Argentina.
The staff throughout the hotel are simply amazing and friendly. Their is a pride and desire to insure the enhanced experience of a hotel guest has been achieved
I highly recommend staying at this hotel as I also look forward to my return someday.

Not impressed that during this stay the terrazza restaurant was closed for a private function without any notice. The Mediterranean restaurant didn't serve steak - in an Argentinian Hotel !!!!!

the intercontinental buenos aires is a good base to explore the city. knowledgeable staff provide good tips for getting around and are helpful in plenty ways. though the club lounge is rather small, the hotel offers many other amenities and is well situated to discover the 'flesh pots' of the city.
the pool is under roof and the temperature sometime hotter indoors as outdoors #at least during our stay#

Great central location, professional staff and we especially appreciated Pablo’s suggestions on places to see on a Sunday afternoon at our check-in. Lovely breakfast assortment on the buffet.
We will recommend your hotel to anyone visiting Buenos Aires and hope to return again sometime in the near future.

The hotel is well located and romos are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is just por, limited options .
I left my room at 11 on November 14th, and nobody cleaned. When I arrived at 11 PM I was too tired to call someone to make the room. That should never happened. And no , I did not use a signal outside the room.

Just as in all big cities use common sense and caution while walking around Monserrat area at night-- take taxis- walk on busier or better lighted streets.

I travel frequently to Buenos Aires for business and the InterContinental is my preferred place to stay. The location is great for me (close to our offices) but may not be ideal for tourists who want to focus on Recoleta or Palermo. However, if you are looking to stay close to San Telmo or downtown, this hotel provides great value and impeccable service. The bar/restaurant in the patio is very charming and surprisingly quiet for a hotel with such a central location. Highly recommended.

The pick of the Intercontinal properties in the city in my view. Whilst the club lounge is small the service is good as is the food. The meeting room is an unnecessary under use of space in an already small lounge. We were staying for 4 days and it wasn't used, people either met or discussed business in the lounge and this was a disruption to other guests wanting to relax quietly.
The club rooms were very good as was the daily service/turn down.

The staff was excellent and the food was good enjoy the fitness center enjoy the use of the computer and bottled water. The evening snacks were very nice. The various selections of drinks and lines were terrific. The bathrooms were very accommodating. The seating the rooms were very comfortable. The staff at the entrance was very helpful at each and every time we went out. The seatings arrangements were very comfortable also.

The IC Buenos Aires represents the "old fashion" IC hotels with the lobby, club lounge and rooms needing some refurbishment. The location is good in the heart of the city. Food was good and most staff members could speak English but E-Mail exchange with front-desk was partially in poor English.
Overall, the staff was willing to help but at several encounters I felt that they were not "honestly" friendly but just because they had to be with a slight tendency for arrogance. Also the guest orientation was partially missing. Also, housekeeping kept forgetting to refill shampoo and shower gel.
Overall, we had no problems with the hotel and it was a pleasant stay but no highlight in comparison to other IC or 5* hotels.

The hotel and it's wonderful staff are a true representation of what Buenos Aires and InterContinental Hotels are. Each time I have stayed here more and more of the staff know me by name. The hotel is impeccably maintained and the service from front to back is outstanding. Although you will want to venture out make sure and eat at least one meal in the Terraza del Virrey Restaurant. Also, make sure to sign up for IHG Rewards Club and if you choose InterContinental Hotels a lot, the cost of the Ambassador program is well worth it. The perks here and everywhere are outstanding. I sleep better here than at home. Really comfortable bedding. My only hotel in Buenos Aires.

A totally memorable stay-hospitality as it should be experienced but rarely encountered.

The overall stay was good but considering that this is a business oriented hotel you charge for everything business related - in room Wi-Fi and event printing out a black and white copy.
This is my only concern going forward with this hotel.

When I checked into the hotel for the second time on my recent visit to Buenos Aires, Agustin remembered my name and I was reminded what it was like to stay in a luxury hotel with well-trained staff. I had forgotten, living as I do on a volunteer´s salary. Not that I am unaware of what luxury hotels are like. I worked for a luxury chain for 20+ years, studied hotel management and still check the pulse of the hotel when I walk through the door. Once a hotelier, always a hotelier!
Remembering your name is top of the list, but remembering other details go a long way to making a stay exceptional. This was the case with their Team in Banquet Service. They followed the floor plan given to them and more. They also remembered that I needed pictures taken down and had asked for an additional table on the last visit - two requirements not on the floor plan but noted efficiently by the hotel staff somewhere in a Banquet log. That shows professionalism and an eye for detail.

Fast and efficient check in, with all necessary explanations given by polite staff. Very confortable business room, with free wifi and access to Club Lounge.
Everything that I expected as being an Ambassador Platinum member was achieved, except that I was not given the Club level floor - which was not a problem, as the room given, was excellent in all aspects.
I will definitely stay again and recommend this hotel.
