Taxis
It is recommended to use white taxis or yellow cabs. Avoid using the black & white taxis as they do not have taxi meters
Tipping
A 10% tip is customary at restaurants. Tipping is common for rendered services such as taxi drivers, luggage porters, bathroom attendants etc.
Dress
Sensible and conservative dress is recommended while in Egypt.
Diet
It is recommended to try traditional Egyptian food items such as Taameya (Falafel) and Foul (Beans) usually consumed for breakfast or Koshary, a heavy but delicious dish of lentils, rice and pasta served in a spicy tomato sauce
Weather
Days are commonly warm and nights are cool. Remember to bring your sun block & your bathing suit but do not forget a jacket in case of chilly evenings.
