Tolle Club Lounge mit z. T. langjährigen Mitarbeitern, großzügige und gepflegte Junior Suite mit allen erdenklichen Annehmlichkeiten, aufmerksame Life Guard am Nichtschwimmerbereich des Swimming Pools (in Ägypten nicht selbstverständlich).

As a consultant I have stayed at the Semiramis for extended periods of up to 30 days per stay. Most recently I was there for a week. It is a great hotel and the service standard that I compare other hotels to in my travels.
I highly recommend the Day & Night restaurant. Eating breakfast and getting to know the staff was a wonderful way to start my day. The Tea Room is so pleasant and the Corniche Cafe is a great place for a coffee. The housekeeping staff are great and thorough. The concierge are so helpful.
This trip I took time to enjoy the pool and it was great.
My only suggestion to management is that it is time to start upgrading the rooms. My room felt tired and worn out. The varnish on the dresser was faded from the sun, the desk had all kinds of nicks in it. None of it a problem but when you book into a 5 start hotel these types of ware should not be evident.

Very nice staff on the 18th floor, but during check out in the middle of the night i had to do that at the ground floor, no problem BUT the man behind the counter was very aggressive and absolutely not polite!.
During check in a received a coupon for two free drinks, i forgot to give it during signing the bill, at check out i was giving a very aggressive big mouth that this could not be credited etc etc etc.
For me it was the first time I had to pay my coffee in the club lounge for my guest, very weird!
Rooms are ok , but out of date, need refurbishment soon!!

We stayed here for 2 nights bit of a bumpy check inn, but when we finally got our room you couldt fault it in away we just wished we had stayed longer, the only problem here is mobile wifi , the manger said they are fitting it in on every floor when that happens you could"t complain about a thing, next time we are town we will be staying here, the club package is second to none, see you again sometime soon

I had the worst experience ever in any intercon hotels i have ever been in.
First of all there no enough staff in the reception to check- in, no one had appointed me to the Ambassador Floor for check in and i had to wait for 20 mins to speak with a receptionist.
After i did, i found out that the booked room was smoking room although i booked non-smoking room.
I had to wait 45 Mins for the room to be ready.
Once i found my way to the Priority Club Lounge for the very first time i am not allowed into the lounge as the Ambassador isnt allowed!! unless i booked in club room??
Since when it is the case? i do always access the club lounge as a platinum ambassador member, and it was very embarrassing as i was with a guest and i looked like i want to get FREE Access when the lady at the club didnt authorize me in! i had to stay and i paid for the drinks!!
In addition, the lady in the ground reception informed me that there is no wireless internet, and it is only wired, i figured out on the check-out night that there is free wireless and it is working fine!!!
Finally and most importantly, that the sound of the coffee shop beside the pool has a very loud music which is not decent experience and very annoying!
It WAS BAD EXPERIENCE
Next visit to me to any country i wont check in Intercon by default, i will do my research first, i am sorry and sad to say that.
Btw, i do recall as well that in every check in, i get as platinum member a choice of Intercon gift, 1000 points, gift, etc...
NO ONE OFFERED ME ANYTHING, is this normal too?
