This hotel is on of the most comfortable and pleasant hotels I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. I stay there regularly for my business trips to Cairo and love the service I get; pleasant and positive staff make my stay extremely agreeable. Everyone is friendly and happy, which is a reflection on the owners of the hotel, and the Intercontinental brand. Bravo to you all for treating your people well. I will always stay here.

I did not get excellence or special treatment because I have a private membership with you ........... and I always like housing in this hotel ...... experience was not satisfactory for me.

I'm a spire royal Ambassador member and was a guest in Cairo Intercontinental Semiramis from 29/07/2015 – 05/08/2015 and I have had the following issues with the hotel:
1- There was no welcoming or complementary water and fruit.
2- The minibar was not working.
3- The refrigerator in the kitchen was not working.
4- The oven in the kitchen was not working.
5- The TV’s in saloon and room was not working.
6- The A/C in saloon and room was very poor.
7- The water boiler in top of the minibar was broken.
8- The iron machine was not working.
9- The smell of the suit and the corridor was very bad.
10- I have asked for the duty manager many times but I found no care.
11- Every day out of the bad 7 days I spent with them I call for A/C technician to fix the A/C twice one in the morning and other in the evening.
12- The lounge is the worst lounge I have ever been in for intercon.
13- The attitude of the staff was very bad and it shouldn’t be in intercontinental hotels at all.
14- After I have paid +EGP 58,000 and was going out of the hotel, one of the minibar guys was shouting in the lobby at me and said that I have to pay EGP 800 as I have used the minibar!! I told him that I have paid my bill and I’m a royal ambassador member and I don’t pay for the minibar usage when he started shouting and telling that I’m a layer and I’m not a royal ambassador member on his system. Immediately as everyone in lobby was staring at me, I asked him to call the duty manager and this time I was lucky that the duty mgr was in the lobby and drops me a visit. I told him that this guy is telling me that I’m a thief and I have to pay EGP 800 for minibar usage and I want you kindly before telling me anything to check your system and see who I am. He went and come back saying to his colleagues that he is a royal ambassador and he turned to me saying thank you, you can leave NOW!! Honestly I respected myself and walked toward the taxi to the airport without talking to them as it was a very embarrassing moment to me in the very busy lobby they have.
