Stayed for third time in Carlton Cannes and again we were very satisfied with our stay. The main strength of this hotel is its staff which overall provides a very high and satisfactory level of service due to a generally very kind, helpful, efficient and competent staff and not the least due to well trained and sufficient staff resources. This comes with a price as especially as some of the food and drink prices are at the high end. The hotel is in need of some renovation and updating in some areas. Therefore we are looking very much forward to experience the result of the implementation of the planned work in these areas in the near future.

Allways kind staff and fantastik service!! We love it. We stay at many hotels in the worlds but always come back at the Carlton in Canne because they remember you and take care of you and Your every need.!!

Stayed there many times....best stay yet....hard to believe everything seems to improve year by year at the Carlton. Beach staff Tierry and Olivier and Francois are the best....also Mr. Fanciulli is very responsive

Overall a very good stay but quite a small room considering the price (I'm used to bigger rooms for the same amount# and when I asked a man at the Concierge desk how much it would cost to have a beach towel laundried at the hotel he suggested I go to a laundrette around the corner and when I asked if they could do it at the hotel he said I had the prices in my room. I think it's a shame he suggested I go to a laundrette when they have the service at the hotel and I seriously doubt he would have said the same thing to a man in a suit #I was a woman in a dress#... Very sad to see, especially since they did wash the towel in the end. I think that all the information the guests have access to in the hotel room should also be available at the Concierge, so he should easily have been able to tell me #or at least find it out for me as there was no price for towel on the list I was referred to#. I was quite insulted by this, especially as I felt this was a comment he would never have said to a man. At least this is how I felt. And people who stay at the Carlton and are there on holiday #obviously, since I had just bought a beach towel!# don't want to wait around a laundrette when they offer the same service at the hotel!
Apart from this unfortunate incident I had a very good stay and the last night I had a really nice and surprisingly casual #in a good way) dinner on the terrace, with excellent, welcoming and helpful waiters. The atmosphere among the guests weren't stiff or formal at all but very relaxed, which I liked. A big plus!

After 30 years of frequent visits to the Carlton, it only gets better. The staff, the facilities, the meals and the ambiance are perfect by any standards. Our most recent visit (late June) once again demonstrates hospitality brought to an art form. From the moment we were greeted on arrival until the last goodbye, everyone at the Carlton seems intent on perfecting perfection.
Here's to another 30 years enjoying the Carlton Intercontinental at Cannes!
