Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Chceck out Cannot understand why I am having to waiste time following up on being double charged. 1. I checked in with one credit card. 2. Checked out of hotel asking to change credit cards to place charges on a separate card. I was told no problem 3. Surprise I was charged on both the first card I checked in with and the one I checked out with. Both posted on Oct 21st. Billing department said they automatically reversed the charges on the first card. Why would you bill me any way? Why have to reverse charges. Seemed strange and I asked to get a copy of their reversal of charges. I was told they were sending me a copy of the reversal so I can discuss wiith my bank. Still waiting for the written explanation. All of this could have been avoided if I were never double charged in the first place. Unacceptable explanation and follow up 26 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Book your wedding block here!!!! Our daughter just got married 10/18/2014 and we had 27 rooms at the Intercontinental! EVERYTHING was perfect! From initial booking, to checking rooming lists, to check-in, check-out, and everything in between, this hotel could not have been more impressive! ANYTHING you need, directions, information, special assistance, even something sent to UPS, they fulfilled every need large or small! The rooms were clean, the room service exceptional, and all employees courteous and helpful! We had gift bags delivered to our guest's rooms in a timely fashion, and have heard many stories of how wonderful their hotel stay turned out! If you want to give your guests a taste of Chicago hospitality at its' best, the Intercontinental is the place to stay! 25 October 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by a/c noise I stayed in the chicago interconti. the room was on floor 26. location and size were good. due to the cold weather we had to turn on the a/c day and night. the a/c was making to much noise and we could not sleep at night. it was like sleeping in the plane. 25 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent stay! I wasn't sure what to expect as my office requested my stay at the Intercontinental during my business travel to Chicago and I was quite pleased! The hotel is beautiful and clean and in a great location near everything! I had no problems finding things to do and I really enjoyed the suite I stayed in; it was quite comfortable and relaxing and my view of the Magnificent Miles was awesome. I could hear some traffic noise but when staying in a large city you're going to get noise no matter where you stay .. I really enjoyed my stay and would stay again if I return to Chicago! 25 October 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Incredibly Comfortable Bed The staff was professional and kind; the room and bathroom were clean; the mattress, pillow, sheets were the most comfortable that we have ever slept on. Would love to know the brand of pillows. The internet was not great, very weak signals during all times of the day and night. Complimentary Starbucks hot tea or coffee each morning, but the line is extremely long. Great view and location on the mile. 24 October 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Ask for Rey Andujar This hotel is the only hotel i stay at in chicago, mostly because i love to swim and its got a beautiful pool to do laps in, When i first checked in this time, the first lady who helped me was terribly unhelpful, despite me being a gold ambassador, when i got up to my room, it was a king, when i had request two double, coming back down, rey stepped in and fixed everything in a heart beat along with some comp tickets, he remembered me every time i walked by reception and was extremely helpful, courteous and professional, if i had a business in chicago, i would hire him in a minute, he should be running the hotel! 23 October 2014
