Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by newly renovated rooms We have always been treated well at the Inter Con. Good service and comfortable rooms. On this visit we were pleased with our newly renovated room. Very nice room with a great view. The only thing I would suggest would be to have a small table in the room. Our corner room was spacious enough to allow for one. I always enjoy using the fitness facilities 25 March 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Late Night Amenities My wife got us tickets to a concert and instead of driving back to burbs, I decided to book a night at the InterContinental and it turned out to be a great choice. After the concert, we ate and had drinks at Michael Jordan's Steak House. The bartenders gave great recommendations and made an AWESOME Manhattan! We got to enjoy Michigan Ave the next day with no rush to check out. It was a well needed getaway and we can't wait to do it again!!! 25 March 2015

When we arrived in Chicago, Thanksgiving was only a few days away, so the hotel was heaving and the Festival of Lights parade was just about to start right outside the hotel on the Magnificent Mile - amazing and we couldn't believe our luck! Despite the hotel being busy, our check in was smooth and easy. I used my IHG rewards membership to link into the free WiFi and to get access to the Fitness suite - not that we used it, but still a nice perk. We were on the 23rd floor and unfortunately, due to a burst pipe on the 26th a few days earlier, we had loud humidifiers up and down our floor for the duration of our stay. I would say this was the only disappointment because although we weren't in our room that much, going to sleep to the loud hum of humidifiers at night wasn't much fun. Aside from that though, an excellently located hotel with great staff and helpful Concierge and I would definitely stay here again. 25 March 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Can't get cool in Chicago I enjoyed my stay , I was given an up grade because of Platinum status. very nice. The problem in big Hotels in the early spring is they have not turned on the AC and the rooms are to Hot. 23 March 2015
