Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Recent Intercontinental Stay I always enjoy staying at this hotel, great location, clean rooms. Jordans has a great staff and food. The service in the past has been very good but recently it has declined. In particular the check in process has been slow and on a couple of occasions they have not had rooms available for check in despite it being late in the afternoon. August 30, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Now just an average hotel Have stayed at this hotel for years. Rooms and staff had always been excellent. This time stayed in newly remodeled executive suite in historic section as always. Extremely bland, this hotel seems to have lost its luxury. Definitely not to Intercontinental standards. More like a standard Holiday Inn. Will definitely look at different hotels in the area next time at similar prices. August 28, 2015

The mistakes were addressed in a less than friendly manner and lacking in customer service. The facility was clean as well as the room. August 27, 2015

If i have 2 concerns with my stay: 1 - There is no fan in the bathroom 2 - There is no free wi-fi but when i inquired at the front desk (2 days in) regarding the cost, they asked if i was a member of ihf. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful Hotel, Great Location, Top Notch Can't beat the location, right on the Magnificent Mile, very convenient to buses, stores and plenty of restaurants. The front desk staff was new and was not familiar with the area though. Rooms in the original tower have been recently renovated, with a huge TV, nice work desk, however, only 1 small dresser drawer for clothes. The AC did not work well and could not cool the room down. We requested that engineering check it, twice and no difference, it was set below 70 and was probably around 75-77 in the room. Bed was comfortable, bathroom amenities were top notch! Parking was a killer $67+ per day! Ouch! Would stay here because of the location and beautiful hotel. Be sure to check out the pool (8th fl) and the ballroom floors. They are from the original building design and are classics! August 25, 2015
