Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Chicago Winter Escape It wasn't our best decision to visit Chicago in the coldest season of the year, but the hotel was great and the staff very friendly and helpful. The free Starbucks coffee helped to warm us up... My only bad point was to find our room, which was located in the other part of the building and when we checked in, this wasn't told to us so it took us a while to find our room. apart from that very nice and would recommend. 22 February 2015

Only thing that could have made my stay more comfortable was a bit more square footage in the room, queen instead of double beds and a table to eat at in the room. The next morning the front desk struggled to accurately explain the location of the garage to retrieve our car. 19 February 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Classic Elegance The helpful staff is what makes this hotel so wonderful. From the doorman, to the front desk, to the maids - everybody was so nice and helpful. They knew exactly what to say and do. The room was not huge, exactly the right size for two people. The decorating is wonderful. This is an old hotel that has been updated and looks fantastic. Everything is elegant. The valet parking is, well, expensive. It is downtown Chicago - so I guess that's to be expected. This hotel probably has a great view from every side - Michigan Avenue was beautiful at night. 18 February 2015
