Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Amazing First let's start off the with ladies at the front desk. My flight got in around 10:30am and I was in my room by 11:45am. Great job getting me a room so early with check outs still going on. I then asked about going to Tower Center and they were very helpful informing me of the healthline and that it goes right to it. Another great job! I don't like to have housekeeping clean my room everyday, it's only me and they have rooms to worry about with guests checking out so my room is fine. I forgot her name but on the 11th floor she was great. I asked for 2 extra towels and poof 2 extra towels. I know some places don't like giving out extra towels but it's nice to have at the beginning of the trip. I was there for the new innovations conference and Alice was my server for most of my time there. SHE IS AMAZING!!!!!! Coffee done, juice done more water done. She did everything so quickly and with a smile on her face at all times. The other staff I had was also great and helpful but I really bonded with how friendly and approachable Alice was. Keep her happy she is a huge asset for your brand!!!! 28 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Stay! The hotel is very clean and comfortable with a very friendly staff. Location to downtown is very convenient. My only complaint was the couple in the adjoining room. They had a late arrival and were very loud during their stay. However, I would chalk that up to a lack of manners, nothing the hotel could control. I would highly recommend this hotel! 28 October 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient I rated the sleep quality low because I am not used to really soft, plush beds, bedding, and pillows. I prefer firm. Also, the attendees of the conference I was attending seemed to get really loud in the halls at night. Everyone seemed to slam doors. You hear helicopters, ambulance sirens, and police sirens all night due to proximity to the Emergency Dept of the hospital. I also had a hard time with regulating the temperature in my room. The staff were extremely friendly and every where I went was extremely clean. I love how convenient it is to the Cleveland Clinic. There are really cool buildings in the area that made for a nice walk. 28 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by One little thing freaked me out..... On the final night of my stay, I went out with friends for dinner. Before leaving my room, I turned off all the lights. Later on, when I returned to my room, I opened the door to find all the lights on. I was quite nervous; looking around to make sure everything was still there, etc.,as I knew the room had been cleaned earlier in the day. I then noticed that one of the beds (2 Queen beds in my room) had been turned down and chocolates placed on the pillow. This had not been done the two previous nights of my stay, and it was done on the bed that I had NOT been using during my stay. Just wasn't expecting that--don't recall reading anywhere that it was a practice to do so, and it did catch me off guard. Otherwise--a totally wonderful, comfortable stay. Looking forward to attending the conference next year. 27 October 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful Hotel....but The Intercontinental Hotel in Cleveland is beautiful, no doubt, it just needs to be managed better. From the North Cafe, to the front desk, to engineering...they just need to hire a more professional caliber of staff. When we arrived for our stay, we had issues with the toilet in our room (722); we called the front desk and they sent someone from engineering to our room. We explained to him that the tank of the toilet was not filling properly; he just plunged the toilet and left. I had my husband to go in and try to flush it again and it still was not flushing properly and at that point we called the guy back to our room let him know that the issue had not been resolved; at that point I'd had enough, as I was not going to deal with an issue of this sort. I requested another room. I was not offered and upgrade or anything but at least the plumbing worked. It's a beautiful hotel but it's such a disappointment in terms of service. 27 October 2014

First class front desk and concierge. Rooms large and modern with the latest technology. I would stay here again! 26 October 2014
