Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Scuba Diving Location If you are a diver I highly recommend this resort. Gear rentals are available right on the property and the equipment is very well maintained, also inexpensive. Paradise and Chakanab reefs are close by. The beach offers good access, is shallow but great for a twilight dive. There is also an operator on site for booking boat dives. I personally dive with Caribbean Divers. As an Ambassador member we always book mid level rooms and then upgrade to beach fronts. This is the way to go. You won't be disappointed with these rooms. As for dining, I feel the on site restaurants lack quality and are pricey for what you get. There are so many great local restaurants in town that this is of no concern to me. This is the only negative factor I can say about this facility. Maybe someday they will off an all inclusive option at a reasonable fee. 16 December 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 35 Years Anniversary Outstanding resort; five stars across the board! Internet coverage is "weak" in the 5200 range rooms. Evening turn-down service should be no later than 7:00 PM. Restaurants should be open for dinner by 5:00 PM. A great resort to be re-visited! 16 December 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Experience for the 2nd time This is the second time I've stayed at this property and would love to make arrangements for a future 3rd. We came for my wife's birthday and it was great. I would like for thank Jamie the resort manager for meeting my special requests for this occasion. We especially enjoyed the attentive staff and the fact that happy hour last 2 hrs in the bar where you can get 2 for 1 drinks. Great way to start every night. 15 December 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful Hotel! This is a beautiful hotel in a wonderful location! There really is no need to ever leave the premises except for maybe a Mayan ruin excursion, and the hotel staff can help you set that up. The perfect place for a week away from it all! 13 December 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great resort but check your bill! Everything about this resort is amazing, but make sure you take the time to carefully review your bill when you check out. Ours had a $1000 mistake and it took 3 hours to get it worked out. So, ask them to give you a printout of the charges THE NIGHT BEFORE you are to check out. This is the second time we have found a mistake on our bill. 08 December 2014
