Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by 早餐服务员工服务差,饮食质量极低 住宿两日,两日早餐,品种尚可,而早餐质量,服务实在太差。 1)地上掉的食物,服务员用手直接捡起,丢掉后,不洗手继续端盘子。 2) 做面的厨师要求客人自己来拿碗来,客人为厨师服务?递过碗,厨师接碗,手竟放在碗的内侧,如何卫生? 3) 无人领位,找到位子,告知服务员倒咖啡,留住位子。几分钟后回来,有其他人在座。问服务员为何,答:你旁边坐吧。主动与客人口角。 4) 9点多去吃早餐,已是杯盘狼藉,残羹败食。寻是否添加?答:没了。 5) 品种虽尚可。餐饮品质很差,如广式茶点,只是一个大笼屉,散放着一些小馒头或包子。旁边歪歪扭扭摆着空空的小笼屉。粥,无人做了,里外滴答着客人不慎溅出的汤汁,无人过问。 6) 第一天写了意见书。餐饮部经理送来果盘,写了信。第二天早上见面。只说服务员差,没办法,包含吧,回去网评多写好的。难道客人要为洲际的差服务负责?为此买单? 诸如如上问题实在太多,不一一评述。多次入住大连洲际,较以前服务下降很多。 另外,值得一提,健身房服务不错。我因为补充热量,力量训练稍大。需要白糖,立即送来。很感谢。特表扬。 以上。 28 May 2014

Only thing i would expect Dalian InterContinetal to work upon is their Wi-Fi connectivity in the room and also Internet speed, which can be imporved upon. 28 May 2014

Large room with splendid view,Comfortable king bed,Fine shampoo and shower gel,the most amazing thing for me is the BOSE acoustics!I love it! Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by 员工工作需要改进 作为优悦会的白金会员,我一年中入住很多酒店,大连的洲际酒店的此次入住让我印象深刻: 1. 前台接待。 我是因为北京天气不好,飞机临时备降到大连,在机场预定好酒店后就直接前往入住,前台人员不能像其他酒店一样热情,冷冰冰的,白金会员一般都会升级一级住宿,也明确告知我不可以,可之后还有其他人来询问,其实是有其他高级房型的,另外在我的一再提醒下,才给我欢迎饮料劵,这种接待让我很失望。 2. 早餐 第二天早餐人满为患,很多客人都在外面等候,我提醒服务人员是否可以安排我到行政酒廊早餐(其他酒店都是直接安排我到行政酒廊的),答案还是不行,在带着小孩等候了多时后,我被该服务人员带到早餐厅的一个很远的角落,很冷,周围几张桌根本没有人用餐,不知道这位人员是何用意。 在早餐的时候,做煎饼的师傅在切成块的时候,有一块从案板上掉落,她居然当着我的面把那块脏的煎饼夹起来放到我的盘子上,真是让人无语。。。。。 3 大堂吧 我临走的时候拿饮料卷去兑换饮料,我明确告知我不能喝碳酸饮料, 一楼大堂吧那位女士爱答不理的反复和我说只能换可乐雪碧, 我真不知道她是来服务的还是来给客人气受的。 酒店的门童和礼宾部倒是很热心,从招车到旅游推荐热情服务,相比来看,这个酒店的一些部门是根本没有服务意识的。 05 May 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 开心之旅 首先,非常感谢酒店所有员工对我年迈的父母的关照。从这一点,可以肯定酒店的培训非常到位,必竟老人的感受比我的更加重要。 酒店位置好,行政楼层景观超赞。 早餐非常好,特别喜欢素馅蒸饺,炒蘑菇和蛋卷。三楼的粤式点心对于我这个深圳人来说就差了些,哈哈。 唯一小缺陷来自我最爱的游泳池,第一次去没带沐浴露,泳池的沐浴露根本挤不出来;第二次去,出水后居然没有干净毛巾,工作人员给拿了一条破毛巾。蒸了十五分钟桑拿出来仍然没有新毛巾送到。 超爱这个游泳池,特别是当阳光从天窗洒进来时。住了六天游了四次。希望酒店加强管理。我想健身设施绝对是很多人选择酒店时的重要条件之一。 02 May 2014

Room was nice, fruits were supplied to my room, welcome note such that you feel like at home :P. One negative point I noted during my stay was the staff at the reception of gym is not very professional: he was on the phone while entertaining guest giving me a sign language instead of greeting etc..while that's minor issue. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice room, bad for business The InterContinental Dalian is conveniently located for just about anything you'd like to do/find in Dalian. The rooms are spacious, well laid out and nicely furnished which lends well to a comfortable stay. Though the house keeping staff seemed to pay close attention to the state of the bath room and bed area, I couldn't help wondering how they continuously missed the large balls of carpet fluff which lingered under the desk for most of my 2 week stay. If you're a business traveler who requires a decent internet connection to complete your hotel requirements, I'm afraid the InterContinental will definitely let you down. I didn't dare run any sort of actual speed tests for fear of locking my connection down for an inordinate amount of time just to find out how bad the connection really was. Web conferences within the room were almost impossible. This was all using the wired connection. To make things worse, the WiFi was terribly unreliable. In most instances it took two to three attempts just to log into their system because their access point seemed to occasionally lose connection with their server or router. In some instances emails and webpages on my smartphone would download rather quickly, but at other times I felt as if I were watching glass run. The two restaurants, the Piccolo (Italian) and, the aptly named, The Chinese Restaurant both serve wonderful food and provide a warm, relaxing atmosphere. While staying at the hotel I was lucky enough to experience a Korean food festival at the InterContinental which was well worth the money. Unfortunately, the kitchen which provides for the room service menu does not live up to such high standards. Specifically, the club sandwich I tried left me wondering where the chicken which should have been present in one half it went before it made it to my room. Additionally, unlike the sublime offering served in the Piccolo restaurant, the tiramisu which accompanied the meal was what one would expect from a cheap frozen dinner (maybe even less). The staff were very friendly and seemed eager to help in all instances. Hotel relations was quick to ask me about my stay though I was short on time and unfortunately didn't get a chance to air most of what I've mentioned above. All in all, though my review seems very negative, I had a memorable and comfortable stay in the InterContinental Dalian. If it weren't for not fulfilling my business needs, I'd definitely rate the hotel higher. 26 April 2014

Hotel explained it to us and helped to open the window ... we only can shut down the AIR CON and close the window in the night but the room temperature got climbing up soon and we cannot say it comfortable. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A wonderful stay The accommodation is very satisfied, especially the front desk clerk is very warm and thoughtful, let me feel very relaxed. The restaurant staff of 6th floor is very sweet, let me feel the warmth of home. Room health is still so reassuring, and the pillow is my favorite, which is very comfortable, effectively improve the quality of my sleep. Finally, thanks to the lobby assistant manager to provide assistance to initiative, timely, thoughtful services to promote the overall image of the hotel, thank you 20 March 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Top notch accommodations. Nicest in Dalian, CN The hotel is wonderful, nicely appointed rooms & beds. Super comfortable beds, comforters and pillows and I love the fact that they have turn down service. Slippers were laid out, bottled water was provided on the night stand. Great location in downtown Dalian, walking distance to shopping mall & restaurants. Breakfast at the cafe@6 is excellent with a variety of choices and the staff is always personable, efficient and courteous. Everyone was so helpful and attentive. I can't wait to come back and if anyone is staying in downtown Dalian, this is the place to stay. They always work hard and go out of their way to provide you with a beyond excellent service. I know I have a choice of where I stay each business trip to Dalian and I always stay here at this hotel when I am in town. 28 February 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Feeling at home during the Chinese Spring Festival I consider this hotel to be absolute fabulous, comfortable and great service. Hotel staff were super! The front desk staff, housekeeping staff are always great -- friendly! The staff at the cafe@6 are outstanding. They are extremely attentive and friendly! Coffee is always filled without being asked! I always feel like at home when I stay here. I wish I could remember the name of each staff member at Cafe@6 who provided me with great service. Do know that I am very appreciative of their outstanding service. They deserve special recognition! I just wish I could speak the local language so that I would do this personally. I have been in China since mid-January and also been working in 3 different cities (Dalian, Wuhan and ChengDu). Having to stay in Dalian during the Spring Festival while my colleagues returned to their hometown to be with their family, this city is quiet to say the least during this period of time. The hotel staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable here and seemed to know me personally upon check-in!. There were many memorable experiences but I won't forget the nice touches such as the staff (at the 46th floor) let me learn how to make Chinese dumplings! Also, so many variety of delicious food, snacks and beverages were made available to me in anticipation of the Chinese New Year celebration and the great view of the fireworks show all around the city. It was definitely a fabulous experience! There are so many examples of the staff members taking the time to do things "right", however, one example I will give is this - I traveled from Wuhan to Dalian via Shanghai two days before the Chinese New Year! In China, millions people traveled home for their family reunion during the Spring Festival. I arrived at the hotel (after 6 hours delay) without my luggage. My checked luggage was left behind somewhere in Pudong airport during the flight connection. At Cafe@6 for breakfast the next morning, the Dalian airport personnel called my mobile phone and he was speaking in Chinese which I do not understand. I was frantic knowing that he wanted to inform me the status of my luggage and I did not want him to hang up on me. Andy who worked at the cafe@6 that day, was immediately able to talk to the person (I must add that Andy is very fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese). Andy was happily assisting me from the time the airport people called to the time they delivered my luggage at the hotel concierge. In between, he made sure I was taken good care of while awaiting at Cafe@6. Why did i say all this? Andy does not work at the front desk nor at the hotel concierge, he happened to notice of my worries and helpless feeling. And completely oversaw the process of recovering my lost luggage - even though it was clearly not his job. He took the time to help me out and hunt down the status for me and helped me with the paperwork, rather than making me handling this situation with the airport personnel or with the hotel front desk myself. What you want to see in a hotel is a staff who make helping a guest the first priority rather than only doing what is within their "job responsibilities". If you want to stay in a luxury hotel with beautiful rooms and a friendly professional staff who will help you with anything you need during your stay - then this is the hotel to stay in Dalian. Overall, everything about this hotel is how a hotel and a hotel stay should be. 14 February 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by 绝佳的位置和硬件,让人无法满意的服务 酒店的位置、硬件都非常棒,房间的风景也非常好。可是服务水准距离五星级酒店差距是非常大的,具体如下: 1. 前台办理入住的时候,服务员没有任何的笑容,诚然我不是洲际大使,但是作为IHG白金客户,丝毫没有任何言语上的欢迎,在欧洲的洲际酒店入住的时候,硬件是不如这里的,但是前台服务员也能见到我的证件之后,就说欢迎我们的会员入住这类的话语,微笑也很灿烂。可是当晚办理入住的时候,服务员丝毫没有笑容。 2. 打扫卫生的阿姨看到客人,不像别的酒店那样微笑着行礼说您好,而是冷冰冰地看了一眼,之后扭头过去,让人没有亲切感。 3. 早餐餐厅,客人不多,服务员就在我旁边讨论着给别的客人下错单的问题,丝毫不顾及身边的客人在用餐。而且茶水倒撒了也不知道帮客人收拾。 4. 退房的时候,排队的人不多。结账的人丝毫不注意客人排队的情况,任由插队的人先行办理业务。 30 December 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Food & Restaurants not good I stay at your hotel for almost one week and i was not happy in your resturants i try the Chinese and the italian and the international, I can say that in the Chinese and the Italian i was the only customer in there and the food quality is not that good as for the international restaurant the breakfast is very bad and don't have verity mostly asian food and more this is not the IHG standerds for the intercontintal hotel also for the dinner at the same restaurant same thing very poor collection and they food quality is very low i had much better quality even at the Holiday Inn that was a let down so much and never expect that intercontintal standards went down that much. This hotel is new and have good rooms and clean but when it comes to food it's a big NO. The owners of this proporty should conceder to help the GM to improve there resturants and to change the food quality as it need lots of improvements. 10 December 2013

This was my 4th stay at The Intercontinental Hotel in Dalian and I am very pleased with the accommodation. It was also my stay here during the major US Thanksgiving holiday week. It's a memorable one, a truly "Home away from home" experience. The staff made me feel right at home during the month away from home. I would like to mention each of the staff members but it is obviously not possible. Nevertheless, the staff at the cafe@6 were outstanding, friendly and courteous. The atmosphere was just excellent. I'm appreciate their attentiveness for my daily breakfast hour. During my stay, I met each and everyone of the staff members at the Cafe@6 and they all were extremely friendly. Overall, this was a great stay during my Thanksgiving holiday away from home and I am thankful for the friendly, personable and professional service at this hotel. 01 December 2013
