Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Convention Comfortable Stayed a weekend during a convention and what a wonderful experience! Friendly staff, excellent service. Beds are extremely soft and comfortable, rooms are spacious. The only thing that would make the rooms a better stay would be a mini fridge and microwave. My only complaint is that there are no vending machines anywhere in the hotel, and drinks can apparently only be purchased from the gift shop/cafe, where they are grossly over-priced. But the staff is wonderful, as is the hotel itself. Very highly recommended! 26 February 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Big Improvement This night was a "second chance" in this particular hotel to determine if I would add this hotel to my "never again" list after our first visit. Then the reservation was not correct and on a sold out night it could not be made right. We ended up in a room on the lowest floor and without entitlements that we have earned based on our club membership level and points accumulated. This time the staff at the front desk went above and beyond, even figuring out why the hotel showed our rewards membership as club level when it should have been platinum. They promptly corrected the issue for us rather than directing me to contact someone else to do it which is appreciated. Snacks at the club level bar were well above expectation and service was very good. We didn't venture out any further than this so I can't comment on the other amenities but am confident they will be satisfactory in future visits. Given the reputation of the hotel I believe this second stay was normal and that my first was a fluke. I know in my business every once in a while we have a project that seems like nothing goes right even though there is nothing different about it than the previous 100 that were completed to customer satisfaction. 26 February 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stayed for the Dallas Furfest I really enjoyed how nice this location was. The front desk staff as well as the Valet staff were some of the most helpful and Friendly staff I have ever encountered. Especially The head valet serviceman and the front desk clerk Named Channing. I loved my room except that the shower was only lukewarm. Overall, I would happily stay at this location again. 26 February 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The Stay The stay was great, but we got put in the LOUD floor, wish we had known ahead of time that we were on the "Party Floor". Also the front of the hotel is very dark, especially nearby the entrance, it needs to have better brighter lighting, maybe LEDs? They would work great here. Overall everything was great! We wanted to use the pool, but it was too cold! But the room itself was good, very good! The staff was great too! Especially the cleaning staff! 25 February 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel but needs to update I made a reservation for 3 rooms and 2 nights. The room is Ok, but compared with other intercontinental hotels, this one is pretty old especially the facilities. And it is a little overpriced considering the overall experience. The service of front desk is very warm. I'll give that. And the bed is comfortable. 25 February 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by The room wasn't terribly useful I didn't spend much time in the room, since I was attending a convention, but I was less than impressed with the rental minifridge that the staff failed to place in my room before I got there. It was missing a leg, the racks for the shelves built into the door were missing so that was all wasted space, and it was probably almost as old as I am. The bathroom was almost out of toilet paper when I got there, and it had no exhaust fan so heat and humidity were a problem. The iron was missing the cap for the water reservoir. On the bright side, the bed was decent and there was a decent amount of power outlets. The hotel was much more well prepared for the convention itself than for the people staying for it, apparently, because everything for the actual convention was satisfactory, to the best of my knowledge. Granted, they had thousands of people staying for the convention, but they should be able to comfortably accommodate enough people to fill their rooms. 25 February 2015
