Tolles Hotel in toller Lage.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Dfall Lack of Club Lounge Facilities
We had been looking forward to our stay in the Intercontinental Hotel Davos, having seen pictures of this new, innovatively designed hotel. Indeed, we emailed the hotel in March and asked for a Club room with Club facilities and this was confirmed immediately. Can you imagine our dismay when we arrived for our stay in August to be told that the Club Lounge was closed for the summer owing to lack of demand!! No one from the hotel had the courtesy to advise us prior to our arrival! Had we known, we would have cancelled our booking and gone to an Intercontinental Hotel elsewhere but we were ‘stuck’ with this hotel. (I particularly like the privacy of Club Lounges so this was a significant disappointment, no matter what other options they offered us).
As a Platinum Ambassador I am entitled to a daily newspaper but none was offered and I did not see an English language paper on display throughout my stay in the hotel. Further, there was also no turn down service offered.
Despite these negatives there were positives – Melanie (Manager of the Studio Grigio restaurant) was very courteous and helpful. The shuttle van driver also went the extra mile to help when our train was delayed.
In summary, this is a new, impressive looking hotel but it is still rough around the edges. Whilst it may think of itself as iconic, it falls well short of the standards achieved by say the Intercontinental Dubai or the Grand Stanford Hotel, Hong Kong.

Davos is only 9 months old as a Hotel, but the setting and quality of the Hotel buildings, rooms and staff services were exceptional. The facilities were first class, range of food and drink were excellent, as were the quality. We stayed for our 25th wedding anniversary and we couldn't have picked a better place. Thoroughly recommend it.

we found the hotel in a very good location and with a
excellent modern design.we were surprised at the general lack of staff in all areas of the hotel.
Especially the fact that we were told that there was no room staff to do turndown after 4 pm.

I liked very much the style of the hotel - modern and trendy.
The rooms are comfortable and spacious.
It happened the weather wasn't very good during my stay so it's really a pleasure to be in such a hotel when it's raining outside. There are many things to enjoy: comfortable bars and restaurants, excellent pool and spa.And all the staff is very attentive and friendly.
If I ever return to Davos (maybe for winter skiing) I will definitely stay only in Intercontinental Davos.
