I´l like to congratulate Indira at the reception desk, she really makes a difference. At the bell desk there are only good things. People like Conrad, Ali and Fernando make you feel special and at home, their desire to help goes beyond what one would expect, they are all excellent workers and the best at what they do.
In the restaurant, the service given by Magaly and Gabriel was incredible.
Also the head of the executive lounge at the fifth floor deserves all my compliments, what a way to anticipate the guests´ needs.
And overall I´d like to congratulate fiercely the General Manager, I´d definitely have to say that a great change can be seen in the hotel since you came in. Thank you very much, because your managerial experience, and way of handling things has permeated throughout the structure of the hotel, not only in it´s organization, but more importantly it´s impact in customer service. I´d only have to say a 100% satisfied.

El hotel es extraordinario, no solo por sus condiciones fisicas y ubicacion, sino por la calidad de servcio ofrecido y el personal a cargo, recepcionistas, concierge, camareras, quines reciben y trasladan equipaje en la entrada del hotel, personal del restaurant. Todo. Es una experiencia inolvidable y para repetirse. Sencillamente Extraordinaria. Mil gracias.

It's perfect for those working in Doral and not wanting to deal with traffic. Sometimes when it's full, the room to room noise can be a little loud and I had a bad experience with room-service breakfast. The continental breakfast included such old pastries I couldn't eat it. I wouldn't have care much except for it was also extremely expensive.
But otherwise, I like staying here. The beds are comfortable, the rooms clean and the staff are always courteous, coffee in the room. Plus the small gym is great to have with the Miami heat.

Had a very pleasant stay. Very Clean and knowledge staff ready serve. From check in to check out, look forward to making the Intercontinental chain a primary place to stay on my future travels.

We needed a place to stay near Miami but not pay the prices that hotels in the city charge. The Intercontinental in Doral was the perfect choice. The hotel is minutes away from everything in Miami at a great price. It is everything I would expect from an InterContinental Hotel.

Another stay at the IHG Dora, as an IHG Platinum Ambassador.
On this occasion, I wanted to experience staying in a suite and made the booking accordingly that would enable me to be upgraded to this category. I called the hotel directly and spoke to a representative, outlining my requests and was advised of the room category to book to qualify for the upgrade; I made the booking on the telephone accordingly.
Unfortunately for me, I did not get the upgrade during my stay, even though at check-in I was advised that I had been upgraded. When I got the room key and realized the room number, I realized it was not a suite and I made an enquiry regarding the upgrade. I was then told there were no suites available, which is understandable, but I did not appreciate being told that I was upgraded when I was not - perhaps the young staff member did not anticipate that some clients are familiar with the hotel and the upgrade process.
Well it was not the end of the world and perhaps I should not rely on being upgraded in the future, to ensure that I am not disappointed for future stays.
