Seriously, from the moment i arrived to the moment i, sadly, had to go. The room, the food, the SERVICE!, everything was excellent. I would totally recommend Holiday Inn, it´s a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

Your customer service is great. The only problems I had was the sattlelite service kept going out, and the wall A/C kept going on and off even if you set the timer. It was hard to sleep, then if you shut it off you got hot and couldn't sleep with it on.

But this time , late check in, in the morning we found out that the bed was dirty, the writing table was dirty, and the bathroomfloor was dirty, just ugly! We told the front desk and checked out, early morning, otherwise restarant, barfood very ok, wondering if we go back, another thing as prfered customer you get always the room with a concrete view against a wall, can not recoomend tomstsy there right now!

When we checked in we were upgraded to a suite on the 9th floor. This room was very nice and comfortable. It was very large and had a great view. We watched an alligator swim in the canal beside the hotel. For Atlantic Canadians this was a treat to see. The staff were excellent and friendly. The shuttle service to the cruise port was excellent. The hotel was being renovated and was looking very good where it was already done. The location was perfect for the airport and cruise port. The small coffee shop in the lobby was excellent as well as the staff there. There was a nice outdoor pool. I would definitely stay here again.

I'm not sure who actually read this but I would like to say that the staff in this hotel is awesome. They are so willing to help the tourist with questions and they now a lot of how to move within the city.
The food is awesome, the attention is awesome and the cleaning room service is even better.
I have recommended this hotel to all my friends that are going to Miami :)
P.D. - Special thanks to Margot (who works from 5 am to 1:30 pm) and Guillermo (Shuttle driver) - They made our time there so different and I would return only because of them

Have sayed here on several occasions when we have a morning flight from MIA. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The building is old and worn. Rooms are clean and have newer frunishings.. Bath is very small. Air conditiners are noisy, and there can be some airplane noise. Overall, it is a good choice for an overnight stay but would not recommend as a destination hotel..

This hotel needs updating, mattress was very uncomfortable, room had that old musty smell. Compared to other Holiday Inns this hotel did not meet expectations. Would not recommend until it is updated

My family and I enjoyed this Hotel; it served us well for the amount of days we stayed there.
The rooms were comfortable enough and the planes even though we were near the runway; never heard the planes taking off or landing. It was relaxing.
The Restaurant at the last floor was a plus; you had a nice view from the four corners.

I was flying standby and needed to get a place to stay. I decided to go with Holiday Inn. I took the shuttle from the airport to the hotel (great).
I got to my room at about 11pm, the A/C was on HIGH and the coldest possible. It took about 15 minutes for the room to get to a normal temp. I was freezing without luggage...without a way to warm up, but to wait ----
Then - I got to sleep.
At 5:24am, I called to be sure the shuttle was at 5:30am and the desk confirmed. I let them know I was on my way down. I got downstairs at maybe 5:28 or 5:29am walked outside to see the shuttle pulling off. I walked back in, looked at the time to see if I was late or if the front desk just forgot to tell them I was coming & they pulled out early....
It was 5:30am, as per the clock in the lobby, when I walked back inside after waving for the shuttle....
After about 15 minutes someone from the front desk (a gentleman that just came in to work) got someone else to run me over to the airport...Thank you... A 15 minute wait was much better than 30...
Generally, this isn't a big deal, but I was staying so close to try to catch an early flight....To stand downstairs for 30 minutes at 5:30 in the morning - not fun...
All I wanted was a comfy bed & a way to get back to the airport.
Again - not a big deal, but the goal wasn't a relaxing stay, it was to sleep well and catch a plane.

I enjoyed the staff on our check in 8.23, the 9th floor restaurant is very nice to have with a great view of Miami. Exceptional service of the staff was provided on my return visit 8.29.13. I will surely stay again rather business or another cruise related trip.

Advertized as having 24 hour room service...not true. Instead had a cheesy little bar/snack area that was extremely expensive and not worth it. Very poor maintenance and very outdated property. Lousy location.

I was given a free drink coupon for the dining area on top floor. At dinner, I was told the coupon was for 1 alcoholic beverage. I do not drink and could not use for anything non-alcoholic. Other than that I will return again.

Last weekend stay was great. Great location for people flying out of Miami International Airport. Location is convenient to various shops, food/entertainment.
However, if your are on the 8th Floor- on Saturday Night; there is a Live Salsa Party on the 9th Floor, and they seem to have a Good Time Dancing to the Music. Parking is Tight for hotel's quest also on Sat. Night, because of this event.
KInd of Loud at late Saturday night..
But overall, that was my only concern.
I would definitely stay there again on the lower floors!!

I was on this hotel on July 26.
First problem is that they are wrongly publishing the address of the hotel., so the GPS was not able to find the hotel address. Meanning 2 hours spent looking for this hotel.
Second : Dirty Room with dirty carpet.
Third : Charged with 25 dollars additional to the cost due to "hotel warranty". Hotel never reimbursed that amount to my credit card.

We had a great experience! We stayed here twice (on our stop into Miami & on our way back through). Great service at the desk from the staff, especially Jose & the restaurant food is great! They have completed some remodeling it is beautifully decorated & very clean. We plan to use this hotel again if we are in the area & can't wait to see what other changes they've made by then as well. Hotel shuttle service was very timely too. Overall a refreshing place for these tired travelers!!
Ps-view from restaurant is great & we loved having food on sight & didn't have to leave hotel!

We left our hotel on South Beach that wasn't at all what we expected and booked a last minute reservation here... It was great! Pollo Tropical is in walking distance... Despite being an airport location it was very calm, quiet and relaxing!

Our flight was late getting in and we were not able to make our connecting flight home. The airline put us up in this hotel and comped us a dinner. When we heard this we were happy until we had to wait 45 minutes for shuttle that is supposed to run every 30 minutes. We called twice thinking we had missed it. Once it finally showed our driver already had one passenger that looked like he worked for the airline. Everyone else that had been put in the hotel filled the bus plus the one passenger. We proceeded to go on a slight adventure to drop off this individual which was a good 10 minutes out of the way. This may not seem like much but it only takes 2-3 minutes to get to the airport from the hotel. Our service at the front desk was decent despite the late hour we were getting in. We changed quickly and went to try and have dinner at the rooftop restaurant. This was by far the worst of our experience. We were seated fairly quickly which was about the only good thing to say about the restaurant. We were met after 5-10 minutes by our server who only offered us the special and no menus. We ordered that and a couple beverages which took 25 minutes to get. After half an hour waiting for our entrees we called the "supposed manager" over. He informed us that our voucher did not cover the special even though the server said it did. We had to borrow menus from the table next to us to place a new order which took another 20 minutes for the server to take. I forgot to mention that they also have a night club attached, which the servers are more interested in maintaining than they are the restaurant. One couple next to us waited so long that their little girl curled up on the floor and fell asleep. To end this long story finally we waited an hour for subpar sandwiches and cold fries and to be blasted by loud music and ignored by the staff.

Great hotel and they treat Priority Club members fantastic. Great room huge king suite ride to the port and free shuttle to the hotel from MIA also I would note that the shuttle driver took us to a local store for supplies needless to say we tipped him nicely. I stay here every year we vacation. I wish I had work in this area I would stay here!

I TRAVEL FOR A LIVING AND STAY IN HOTELS WEEK AFTER WEEK... THIS WAS BY FAR THE WORST HOTEL TO STAY AT!! THEY AHVE A SHUTTLE BUT YOU HAVE TO PAY TO GO ANYWHERE..... PEOPLE AT THE FRONT DESK ARE VERY RUDE!! THE MANAGER ON DUTY WAS VERY RUDE AS WELL. NOONE SPEAKS ENGLISH AND IT IS HARD TO COMMUNICATE.. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL..... DIRTY MUSTY SMELL.....HOTEL NOT CLOSE TO ANYTHING.........IN THE MIDDLE OF NOTHING!!! NOT CLOSE TO ANYTHING.
