Free WIFI was well received. Arrived early in the morning at Hotel and after a short wait room was quickly prepared and made available. 26 February 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A truly memorable stay! We stayed at the Intercontinental Festival City for 4 days to break the long journey from UK to Australia. The service we received from booking to checking out was great. We booked a club room and as we are Platinum members we were upgraded to a wonderful suite. We were met at the airport and a car big enough for cases and golf clubs was ready and waiting. The concierge personally showed us to our room and the check in was done there. The club room offered all of the services, comfort, refreshments you would expect and more. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. They arranged everything we needed easily and happily. We played golf which was really enjoyable and thoroughly enjoyed the food and service in the steak restaurant. Our house keeper did a wonderful job keeping our suite looking A1. We will definitely be returning and would recommend this hotel highly. Thank you to all who made our stay in Dubai so special! 07 February 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Impressive designed hotel and service quality with improvement potential The hotel is built nicely and you enjoy a separate VIP zone for special card holders. However the service does not hold what it promised: At arrival I had to notice that the rate was completely different from my confirmation, which was corrected on request. Upfront I booked an extra child bed and even mentioned it again at the confirmation call one day before. However it took 2hours and 3 calls to get it prepared. The breakfast ordered to the room for early departure was not delivered. And don't expect the newspaper delivered in the morning. Compared to other Interconti Hotels I would say this hotel has really improvement potential re. service. The positive experience was definitely the room and all hotel facilities, bar and restaurants. And I appreciated the way how the hotel handled the complaints. The manager on duty was involved instantly to follow up and I hope that has a positive impact for the guests to come. 04 February 2013

The service, hospitality, and value for money are unmatched wherever you go. I really can't give it justice and describe how pleased I'm with Dubai Festival City Intercontinental hotel. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 exceeding expectations We first stayed at this property during its soft opening so it was lovely to return and see it finished. What was really good to see was how well the hotel had aged - everything still looked very fresh. We travel a lot for business and it's very rare we have our expectations exceeded but we we were made to feel as if we were part of a family, very welcome and very relaxed. The staff were all tremendously thoughtful and helpful and the Club facilities were such a bonus as we were there to have a couple of days rest before a major event at the Autodrome. We recommended the hotel to everyone we spoke with and will continue to do so. 16 January 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Customer Service and View I stayed for three nights. This is my second stay at this property. I was met by Nader from Club reception with a smile. Nader was so helpful and made sure that I got the room I liked. I was upgraded to a fabulous suite overlooking the Creek. I very much enjoyed the fire works from my suite living room. The food from room service was great and the service was prompt. I very much enjoyed my stay and look forward to my next stay soon. 07 January 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Top class hotel This was my 3rd stay in this elegant hotel, although the location is little far from city attraction but you will find it attached to a decent mall with plenty of restaurants, cafes, cinema, etc,, The hotel is perfectly reflected IC standards starting from the welcoming staff, good breakfast buffet, clean rooms, well equipped gym and beautiful pool. I would like also to thanks Ms. Maria from guest relations for her professional assistance. 22 December 2012

Check-in sehr freundlich und effizient; langes Warten beim check-out. Gute Organisation von Transfer zum AlBadia Golfplatz, dies Anlage ist sehr zu empfehlen. Negativ: Security völlig unkooperativ bei lost-and-found. Nur persönliches Entgegennehmen oder durch Beauftragte innerhalb von 4 Wochen möglich. Bei einer Anreise aus Europa eher unrealsitisch und wenig kundenfreundlich. Positiv: Gastronomie des Hotels. 08 December 2012

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bad experiance Despite checking in late in the evening I was kept waiting for 20 minutes. Once in my room, i could smell dampness and mildew . I informed housekeeping who promptly sent someone to spary the room, but unfortunetly they forgot to switch on the aircondition . Consequently the room stunk of whatever it was they sprayed. The next morning we all got up with a sore throat and coughing. I informed the duty manager, who again wanted to send someone to spray, but because we were in the room i declined. Basically the room had a dampness problem. It felt like the room's aircondition was switched off when unoccupied and with the heat and humidity, it causes the dampness and bad odour. I again informed the duty manager about it in the hope that they will somehow rectify the problem somehow. I must admitt, we've stayed many times at this property, and this is the first time this has happened. 01 December 2012

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing On Monday 22nd October '12, I received a phone call from Guest Relations asking at what time on the 28th my wife with her sister and niece would arrive at the Intercontinental Festival City. I informed the caller that they would be arriving at 1400 hours by limousine from the Intercontinental Abu Dhabi. When my wife arrived at the Intercon. Festival City on the 28th., it was a little before 1400, and she and her party were kept waiting two and a half hours before they were given their room. This is not what is really expected, particularly when so much notice had been given of arrival time! 19 November 2012

I stayed at this hotel about 18 months ago, and there has been some changes that you cannot see straight away. All the staff seem a lot happier and have time to talk (get to know you), I believe there was a change in management 12 months ago. The food and service was excellent and could not be faulted. The room had a nice view of the Creek, and was spotless. The location is superb, you can walk to the Festival City Mall without going outside. A special thanks to the two girls in the Club Lounge and the Pool F&B Manager (I always forget names) who made my trip even better. 16 November 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Reservation We as always have had a wonderful stay at your hotel, however we have had a very very BAD experience with the reservation dept. We had made 2 reservations through the call center - on Priority points & Advance booking. We then wanted to cancel both our res., & had clearly mentioned several times to your call center staff not to cancel the points res. unless & until the advance payment booking can be cancelled. However he still went ahead & cancelled the points res. first. We then asked him to redo the booking to which he said he couldn't do it. We were not ready to spend 2 nites in another hotel & move for 1 nite to Intercon. We then called Intercon Dubai & after several calls back & forth managed to reinstate our booking. However to our dismay upon check in once again our booking was cancelled. Luckily there was a room available & we managed to get it after spending a long wait during check in. We had then mentioned several times we would like to know the reason why this has happened & as yet we have not been informed. This has been a very distressful experience & frankly had second thoughts of staying at Intercon in the future. However due to our previous experiences & once we settled in & due to the pleasing nature of your staff we will continue staying with Intercon. 16 November 2012

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Customer Service After a poor customer arrival at their sister hotel, I had to move my family to this hotel. The room was meant to be special, the carpet did not fit, and looked like it had been rushed to get ready. I had been told I also had access to the club lounge, but when I tried to go there I was told I had not paid enough money. The attitude was increable rude and I felt so belittled after all the money I spend within these hotels every month. 06 November 2012
