Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic! Couldn't be better in all aspects. Suite was very well setup and furnished. Rooms were of great comfort and spacious. A Nespresso machine was a cherry on top! The breakfast at Anise Restaurant is best in class, variety and quality. 27 November 2012

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing On Monday 22nd October '12, I received a phone call from Guest Relations asking at what time on the 28th my wife with her sister and niece would arrive at the Intercontinental Festival City. I informed the caller that they would be arriving at 1400 hours by limousine from the Intercontinental Abu Dhabi. When my wife arrived at the Intercon. Festival City on the 28th., it was a little before 1400, and she and her party were kept waiting two and a half hours before they were given their room. This is not what is really expected, particularly when so much notice had been given of arrival time! 19 November 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Improved Service From the moment we arrived to the check out, everything went well. I stayed at this hotel about 18 months ago, and there has been some changes that you cannot see straight away. All the staff seem a lot happier and have time to talk (get to know you), I believe there was a change in management 12 months ago. The food and service was excellent and could not be faulted. The room had a nice view of the Creek, and was spotless. The location is superb, you can walk to the Festival City Mall without going outside. A special thanks to the two girls in the Club Lounge and the Pool F&B Manager (I always forget names) who made my trip even better. 16 November 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Reservation We as always have had a wonderful stay at your hotel, however we have had a very very BAD experience with the reservation dept. We had made 2 reservations through the call center - on Priority points & Advance booking. We then wanted to cancel both our res., & had clearly mentioned several times to your call center staff not to cancel the points res. unless & until the advance payment booking can be cancelled. However he still went ahead & cancelled the points res. first. We then asked him to redo the booking to which he said he couldn't do it. We were not ready to spend 2 nites in another hotel & move for 1 nite to Intercon. We then called Intercon Dubai & after several calls back & forth managed to reinstate our booking. However to our dismay upon check in once again our booking was cancelled. Luckily there was a room available & we managed to get it after spending a long wait during check in. We had then mentioned several times we would like to know the reason why this has happened & as yet we have not been informed. This has been a very distressful experience & frankly had second thoughts of staying at Intercon in the future. However due to our previous experiences & once we settled in & due to the pleasing nature of your staff we will continue staying with Intercon. 16 November 2012

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Customer Service After a poor customer arrival at their sister hotel, I had to move my family to this hotel. The room was meant to be special, the carpet did not fit, and looked like it had been rushed to get ready. I had been told I also had access to the club lounge, but when I tried to go there I was told I had not paid enough money. The attitude was increable rude and I felt so belittled after all the money I spend within these hotels every month. 06 November 2012

I think that I can safely say that this is BY FAR one of, if not, the best hotel that I have ever been in. From your arrival, you are treated like a King / Queen. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by All of the facilities were very comfortable and well serviced. The staff were attentive and always willing to assist. Nadir was excellent! His attention to detail and immediate response to needs is not easily matched. The other attendants at Guest relations, both at the desk and also those in the Ambassador Lounge were always gracious, cheerful and polite. Anita and AnitaMaria particularly noted us when we came in. Alex, chief concierge was helpful and responsive to any needs that we had. The only annoyance was the light in the closet, it is on a motion sensitive timer and shuts off too quickly. This was especially difficult when getting into the safe or hanging your clothes while unpacking. Thank you for a great experience once again. 27 October 2012

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great conference venue Great conference venue. However, they are not very child friendly. Children are not allowed in the club lounge and other areas. I ordered car service from the airport with a child seat for my toddler. They provided me with an infant seat. But- the staff was very accommodating and corrected their mistake. 27 October 2012

Each time if feels like coming back home; I've gotten to know many of the staff who appear delighted to see me and make me feel genuinely like one of the family. The rest of the hotel is truly 5 star, but it's the staff who make the difference from many other 5 star hotels. 25 October 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Buisness stay This was my third visit this year, in comparison to previous years I felt the service has improved, and the consistency in terms of quality was maintained in all three visits. A major plus for me was the fact that on this visit the hotel was hosting a major conference, and was fully booked, on such occasions I tend to see a drop on free amenities and a slow response to requests, but on this time everything was perfect and on time. Finally a big thanks to the club staff, they did go the extra mile for all my requests, and my made my stay worthwhile. 18 October 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Our wow experience We enjoyed every minute of our stay in first week of Oct 2012. The hotel 's location is strategic. A shopping mall is connected to the hotel hence no need for transportation or experience the humidity of the hot summer of Dubai. The numerous restaurants is yet a plus and an added confusion. One will ask oneself, will I have the time to try all the cuisines before leaving. The scenery from the hotel is serene and peaceful. The staff are very friendly and well informed. We are looking forward to our visit next again soon. 13 October 2012

My husband and I were thrilled about the reception and service. The room was superb and immaculate. This formed our decision to stay at Intercontinental whenever we travel. At Dubai, the Intercontinental hotel was no different. It was as if we were in Heaven on earth. 07 October 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by objection and request i do like the hotel but the club loung giv my abig shock because the did not allows my sun( 7 yers old ) to enter to the loung after 12 noon because of serving alcoholi drinks in the loung i cant understand that i wint alone my and him only to hav fun and i bay more for the club room and i cant stay together with him (child) , its beter to have separate and closed area for pepol like to drink alcohol and the rest for familys whti childerin if u can 06 October 2012
