Overall hotel was very good. Staff are excellent. Poor quality mattress, overpriced minibar and slow, poor value internet detracted from the experience. Would stay again, just hope for a better bed.

Kompetente Mitarbeiter an der Reception, leider arrogante beim Frühstück,das für 31 Euro wirklich zu teuer ist. Wlan-Lösung ist merkwürdig, kostenlos in der Lobby, zum Bezahlen am Zimmer, wobei man nicht genau weiß, was es kosten wird... Typische Interconti-Einrichtung, konservativ aber gediegen. Badezimmer könnte mehr "hergeben".

Very disappointing. Last time I stayed there - I didn't receive the welcome gift, even I complained.
The response from hotel was: "Please be assured, that my team and I will do our best to take care of you during your future stays."
This time I didn't get the room upgrade.
And breakfast: the restaurant was really crowded. No free tables. But nobody even tried to help to find a seat in restaurant. It was my duty to find a free seat. Luckily a colleague of my was there and I could join.
I wrote a review on my last stay. There was a comment from hotel. I tried to reply to that but hotel decided not to publish my comment for not explained reasons. I tried to ask "why", but the there is no way to reply to the email.
PS: The bathroom was not that clean. Some disgusting dirt was on hair dryer cable. See Photo.

Everything was outstanding including the room but the Club lounge which is the smallest Club lounge that I have experienced on 6 continents. The staff have to work behind a screen outside the lounge, seating is limited which also reflects the food available.

This is not the first time, that I'm missing some things/services that belongs to ambassador package. No fruits or no water. This time there was no "welcome gift".
I arrived late and was not in the mood to see anyone at my door. I complained at departure. The reaction was just "Oh, so sorry..." And? Can't you call someone to bring that whatever??? Nothing...

This well established property is situated on the banks of the River Main, we had a nice room overlooking it.
Reception staff most welcoming and there was a good feeling to the place.
Spacious lobby/ lounge area and a short ride to centre of town.
A nice relaxing place to stay in Frankfurt

My stay in Intercontinental was fantastic as usual. The environment is very quiet and supper for relaxing and enjoy. The hospitality of the staff is wonderful and very polite and knowledgeable.

We stayed a ten years ago in this hotel, and it is the same as that time, Everything in the bedroom looks like old fashion way.
The staff are not amable!

I'm a seasoned traveller (for fun, not work), and I'm used to the best of the best where hotels are concerned.
I thought I knew all the good places in Frankfurt but this hotel was an unexpexted surprise.
It's a a gem of old world courtesy and elegance. Attention to small details, a smooth arrival and delicate (edible) welcome gifts in your room make you feel really welcome.
The service was impeccable and also with a smile that brightens up your day even if it's raining cats and dogs!
The food was very good as roomservice-standards are concerned. Another feather in their cap!
Location is fine and the view (at the river Main) is absolutely wonderful!
If you want a special experience when in Frankfurt: go to this wonderful hotel!

I would stay at this property again. Great location, just minutes away on foot from the train station.
Spacious, clean room overlooking the river - great view! Comfortable bed, spacious bathroom with nice amenities.
Very professional and courteous staff, right from check-in to check-out. Staff takes pride in their work and it is evident.
Would recommend and will be staying here in a few days again :)

Starting with a warm and friendly welcome, the whole stay was perfect. Nice room (18th Floor) with spectacular view across the River Main.
The Breakfast was one of the best which I had in the last years!
Only negative thing I have to mention is the high price for parking.

Everything about this hotel is great, except for parking very expensive but that is the price of staying is a city.
Thanks to staff, got a surprise complement upgrade, awesome room on 18th floor with great view of the river.
Breakfast was great - having a live omelet station would be cherry on the icing.
Walking distance to downtown....can't beat the location.
What surprised me most is the price, cheaper other HolidayInn brands and definitely worth every penny.
Definitely would stay here as long as prices are reasonable like it was for me this trip.

On arrival, were welcomed but advised that my Ambassador upgrade was not available, but we did eventually get a panoramic suite which was excellent. Also offered Ambassador 16.00hrs late check out which we accepted.
Club lounge very good with very friendly and accommodating staff
Unfortunately it all went sour on our departure day. Settled our account and late check out confirmed as OK for 16.00hrs
At approx. 14.30hrs we were inundated with staff knocking our door wanting to clean, replenish and generally annoy us which culminated in a rollaway bed brought to the room without even the courtesy of a knock on the door - could have been very embarrassing, with the gentleman who brought it in remaining in the room and making a phone call as if we weren't there. Not the Intercont service levels we are used to. So we waved the white flag and left.
