Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by comfortable and spacious room Lighting was less at the writing table in the room but soon a floor lamp was provided. Good hotel after the refurbishment, take care of the house keeping and room service. 16 December 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by 3 stars for the price of 5 Booked this hotel as a package deal with a flight. Ended up paying less that the flight itself, but for a 5-star hotel, the room I got (superior) was rather in the 3 1/2 star bracket, I would day. No idea how this would be rated 5-star. It was good, no doubt about that, but certainly not 5-star. 15 December 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Hotel in a Lovely City We've stayed at the Intercontinental Geneva before and have always found the staff to be very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. I do wish that breakfast were included with the room. However, we always get the breakfast buffet and while it is pricey there is such a wonderful variety of delicious items it is not a bad deal. The room we had this time was on a lower floor (5) and the bathrooms were in dire need of a renovation because they were obviously old style. That said, the whole room was spotless and in very good condition. The bed was comfortable but the rooms were a bit dry (a humidifier would be helpful). The hotel might seem like it isn't in a great location when you first look at the map, but there are very good public transport links nearby that make getting into the city centre very easy and quick. It is also quick to get to the airport. The hotels' included transportation card makes it so nice and simple to take the buses and trams. Also, there are many museums in the immediate area. We will definitely stay at the Intercontinental when we return to Geneva and would certainly recommend it. 11 December 2014
