Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by From favorit to will not be back. This use to be my favorit hotel in Guadalajara, it is time to move on and look for other options. The location use to be good, now the area is not what it ised to be and there are new options that are worth to explore, like the at the multi-purpose Andares, the place to be. Or at San Paulo. As Platinum member ai have been allways granted an upgrade to the Business section. Now even though my room was in this section, something that took almost a half hour by the inexperienced guy at check in (at least three or four times another employee approached this young but inexperienced guy and comment him in the ear) I was refused at the lounge, one privilege that I was looking at. It is like being upgraded in a flight to Business class, but without the food. Come on, either give a full upgrade or not, but not partially! Also getting the car from the valet took 30 minutes. They argued that the light in the corner from the parking lot takes a lot of time, change routes for God sake! Also there is none sitting place to wait for the car. The ammenities good.but only shampoo and facial creme, no body shampoo like any other Intercontinental! Finally the only restaurant with bad service and not so good food. June 26, 2015
