Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Dichotomy I am an IHG member so was assigned to the IHG floor. The first room I was assigned though stated non-smoking was reeking of smoke. room 1015. The next day, I was changed to a new room the customer service group was kind and moved my suitcase to a new room with no problems. The second room was excellent on smell. The aesthetics though, were lacking, the room was clean, but you could see spots on the carpets from cleaning. In both rooms the A/C, wasn't responsive to temperature change and I had to turn it off otherwise the room was meat locker. Unfortunately, with the room change I loss access to the club floor with my key and had to get this updated. Be sure and check that this access is granted when you check in so that you don't have to get updated latter. 21 October 2014

Exceptional service across the board from housekeeping and laundry services to front desk, dining and catering staff! When I'm in Guatemala City again, I will stay here! 19 October 2014
