The room was what I had hoped for, and the harbour view was captivating. Services from hotel staff was immaculate to the finest details from first alighting the taxi to leaving for the airport. I highly recommend the infinity spa to any guests. Relax in the warm jetted water that seemingly flow into Victoria Harbor with the lighted display of Hong Kong island skyline from dusk to night in the background is a scenic sight to behold. I returned in the morning with the spa all to myself and took in a whole new day view of Victoria Harbour that is most refreshing. A minor detail that may best the experience is if the attendants there would have offered to cater me a drink. The lobby lounge is also a must visit. There are few better places in the world to have a drink at night. Floor to ceiling glass windows that painted the entire length of the lobby offers the full panaromic view of the entire Hong Kong island skyline. Transportation was a breeze with taxis always queuing a stone throw from the hotel entrance. MTR stations are accessible within a short walk from the hotel. I give this hotel the highest recommendation.

As an ambassador member I get always upgraded, but this time was a real surprise....taken to the last floor I walked in a superb suite all overlooking the sea , spaces were large and luxurious, I could handle my business meetings right in my room and relax with the steam bath...the service was immediate and effective and i got fresh fruits every day together with some addition different everyday, such as cookies , wine or chocolate. ..in brief, I didn't want to leave my room!
All the rest of the features are great, from the gym to the food, will certainly go back, although it will be hard to get used to the usual "normal" room I reserve, even if it's never normal but always special, with everything you need.

I travelled to Hong Kong with my 2 children and stayed in a harbour view club room for 5 nights at the end of September. The hotel service was outstanding.
The view from our room was breathtaking, housekeeping did a fabulous job and the room was always clean and tidy. The bathroom amenities were beautiful and always replenished daily.
The Club lounge became our home away from home and the staff in the Club lounge were amazingly helpful , especially Ida who went out of her way to make our trip a magical one which we will remember forever.
We loved every minute of our stay and after spending time here I would never stay anywhere else in Hong Kong.

This stay is based on my already positive previous experiences and actually surpassed those AS due to circumstances I needed help which the hotel management were able to provide with patience, understanding the problems butbremaining very much aardbol their hotel guidelines.
I can ONLY recommend the hotel for business and pleasure.

Every thing was excellent. We are very satisfied with Night pool,Ocean view room,and club foor access.
There are some staff who speak Japanese,so that we are very relieved.
We would like to stay at Intercontinental Hong Kong,next time again and recommend this Hotel to my friends.

The most surprise is the brand of shampoo and bath cream that supply for hotle is a very famous brand.
But at the last when me check out , the bill for me has been some mistake.

Stay in Patio suite and have Happy hour in CEO suite,sipping champagne when enjoy the Lazer show.We really made the most of the night!

This hotel in Kowloon always offers the best service and the best rooms at reasonable rates...the reception staff always endeavors to give you the best room available. Great views of Hong Kong. Overall the service offered is consistently excellent.

Staff are decent, I stayed two nights with ambassador night certificate. My room was upgraded to Deluxe room(not with seaside view).
They helped me a lot. I asked them nail-cutter,heater,bottle opener(found it in mini-bar), they also gave me weicome fruit and a gift.
I also spent some time at pool, not so large but the pool-beds are really neat and well kept by staff.
I ordered one smoothie in the pool side, it cost about 12usd, but it`s not quite demanding I think.
Overall it's nice and adequate stay for me.

This property has to be one of the most fabulously located properties in Hong Kong. During it's day as The Regent the hotel was immaculate. I was so disappointed to learn that the hotel is now rated as 4.5 star.
Room interiors are not being maintained - there is a lack of observation on their degeneration. Baseboards and woodwork needs to be re-painted and hardware should be checked - the screws holding the door on in my bathroom were loose.
Amenities are average quality and storage for amenities in the bathroom are tired and worn out.
What a disappointment and what a shame. This property needs some tender loving care to take it back to its former glory.

My stay for two nights at the Hong Kong Intercon was, in a word, brilliant. The service I received made me feel extremely welcome and at extreme ease. Everyone from the concierge to the staff at the spa, to the servers in the lounge were courteous, graceful and knowledgeable. The property itself is magnificent with its infinity jacuzzi and the views of the harbor. I was glad to have chosen the Intercon and look forward to repeating my visit in the future.

Everything was absolutely fabulous !
We enjoyed our very short stay at the Intercontinental HKG. The view is breath taking and the room extremely confortable. Staff is very nice and welcoming.
We had lunch at the Chinese restaurant (Yan Toh Heen) which was unforgettable !
Only thing that was a bit disappointing was the temperature of the pool, we were hoping to cool down thanks to it but 34°C does not allow you for it.
Looking forward to our next stay with Intercontinental, wherever it may be

The rooms are in need of renovation, the interior decoration looks old, not luxurious, compared to the hotels of the same class either at Kowloon or Hong Kong side (we stayed at 3 different hotels of the same class this trip).
You might try to offer 3 choices of scents for room amenity like the other 5-star hotel right across from you. Please include probably the non-scented one.
Staff should be more careful on giving the equal treatment when 2 or more of your guests are approaching your staff, not just to choose one to serve and let others be on their own. We will be find to be told to wait to get help not just 'ignore' us.
Location is OK but not easily accessible by underground when raining is everywhere and almost everyday.
Even at Platinum level, there was absolutely nothing to be 'happy' about, no breakfast, no upgrades, just 1 drink coupon each guest??? I know it's according to your member guidebook that we shouldn't expect anything more but compared to other programs, yours is probably the worst with the top tier member.
Room size is quite generous. When needing anything to the room, the service was fast, fastest among other 2 hotels we stayed. It's just you have to call then, it's not ready in the room.
Coffee and tea in the room provided but at the quantity of 3-star hotel.

Excellent "Instant Service" all room staff were so helpful.
Room service dining was excellent.
We stayed a little too high for the best view of the lightshow and harbour on Level 14. Perhaps a little lower down might be better for the view.
Would highly recommend if staying in Hong Kong.

We decide to celebrate my wife's birthday with a stay at the Intercontinental, Hong Kong. We were upgraded to a Deluxe Harbour View room; an unexpected surprise. The room was gorgeous and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It was a very memorable stay for my wife's birthday.

Stayed here 4 nights with my family including a young baby. The staff were very attentive in their service and always willing to help. The harbor view rooms gave a perfect backdrop to start the day and end the night. The housekeeping did an excellent job to clean the rooms everyday. Will highly recommend staying here.
However one minor /major glitch was the bathroom which had no mechanical ventilation. The toilet flush was also the loudest ever comparable to an airline type. Could be dealbreaker for some as our young kid was often awoken by the flushing.

From bellman to club manager, the staff went far above the call of duty to ensure every possible need need was met courteously and promptly. Little details like addressing you by name and remembering what type of juice and coffee you prefer separate this hotel from many others. The room was exceptionally comfortable and quiet and of course the view is extraordinary. Yan Toh Heen restaurant is superb.

I recently spent 1 night at the hotel and was most appreciative of the fact that the hotel had accommodated my request for an extended late check out, beyond the expected 4pm check out time. It was a great help to have the room for an extra 2 hrs without a charge. I have experienced this previously at an intercontinental hotel, however I did not expect it from this one. In addition to this, I feel the hotel has an ideal setting in front of the avenue of stars, with an excellent breakfast menu. The only draw back would be that the hotel is extremely pricey in comparison with similar quality hotels, who now offer excellent in room technology. Needless to say, I remain committed to the intercontinental brand, and the ambassador program which I feel offers great value for money for the business traveller.
