I visit Jakarta quite often and I consider this hotel as my second home. Keep up the great work! I am coming back to the hotel tomorrow and I hope I can stay at the same room, 1220. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Outstanding Service by one of your staff After checkout yesterday I left for a business appointment. On my way there I discovered that I had mislaid my wallet. As I was due to leave Jakarta for the UK a few hours later this was immediately a major source of worry. I called the hotel Club Lounge and spoke to Melati. Melati took immediate personal responsibility for finding my wallet. She checked several places in the hotel (room, lounge, front desk, lobby lounge) that I had been during that morning, as I could not remember where I had last seen it. Melati found the wallet, intact with all cash and credit cards etc. secured it, called me and delivered it to me when I returned to the hotel to collect it. I could not have been more relieved. Melati's quick thinking and decisive action was a great piece of leadership and a great credit to the IHG Jakarta. Thank you again. The rest of my stay was friendly and memorable too. I will certainly be back again. 11 September 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Cleanliness of room On my first night of checkin, didn't realize the drinking glass in the toilet was full of stains and stains found in the bed sheet too. I have left a note on the bed questioning the stains in the next morning before I go to work. By then when I back, the drinking glass was either being washed or changed. The bed sheet was changed too. On the second day, the basin top is dirty again. I can see some hair on the top and no one clean the basin top. Btw, I noticed the long hair was there till I checked out. I should have report this but due to I come back late to the hotel, I am tired to complain. FYI, I do have a picture of the stain drinking glass and bed sheet. Hope my next stay will be a more pleasant and clean room. Thank you. 09 September 2014
