Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Service and Very Comfortable Accomadation The stay was very pleasant with all staff ready to assist. The bed was very comfortable and had good furnishings, work area and clean bathroom. The carpet was a little tired or could do with refresh. A key mention for Sigit from the restaurant who provided the highest degree of service over and above most hotels, He showed great enthusiasm, welcoming and knowledgeable, and great asset to the hotel. 01 November 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Outstanding Service by one of your staff After checkout yesterday I left for a business appointment. On my way there I discovered that I had mislaid my wallet. As I was due to leave Jakarta for the UK a few hours later this was immediately a major source of worry. I called the hotel Club Lounge and spoke to Melati. Melati took immediate personal responsibility for finding my wallet. She checked several places in the hotel (room, lounge, front desk, lobby lounge) that I had been during that morning, as I could not remember where I had last seen it. Melati found the wallet, intact with all cash and credit cards etc. secured it, called me and delivered it to me when I returned to the hotel to collect it. I could not have been more relieved. Melati's quick thinking and decisive action was a great piece of leadership and a great credit to the IHG Jakarta. Thank you again. The rest of my stay was friendly and memorable too. I will certainly be back again. 11 September 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Cleanliness of room On my first night of checkin, didn't realize the drinking glass in the toilet was full of stains and stains found in the bed sheet too. I have left a note on the bed questioning the stains in the next morning before I go to work. By then when I back, the drinking glass was either being washed or changed. The bed sheet was changed too. On the second day, the basin top is dirty again. I can see some hair on the top and no one clean the basin top. Btw, I noticed the long hair was there till I checked out. I should have report this but due to I come back late to the hotel, I am tired to complain. FYI, I do have a picture of the stain drinking glass and bed sheet. Hope my next stay will be a more pleasant and clean room. Thank you. 09 September 2014

This time I have to stay 4nights. but I was surprised at smaller room with wallpaper broken. And aircon was broken. I have to wait for 30 mims in the hot room. But after 4hrs it stopped again. so I asked change room. however new room was not so good. Bath tub drein was not good. LAN connector was broken. Is this Intercontinental hotel? I'll never stay. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by First Stay Intercontinental Jakarta We stayed in the Crowne Plaza last time we were in Jakarta so expected slightly better in the Intercontinental. The location is more for the businessman than pleasure as the hotel is not close to anything for toursists even a Mall. The Staff are its main asset and are very attentive, I wish the UK hotels had half the quality and personnel this hotel had. The room was very nice, and the main restaurant which served up incredible meals at Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, again if the UK hotels were half as good. My only concern is that on the first week we did not get any benefits from Ambassador status, except the fruit and newspaper. I know I was using my well earned points on this trip but also paid a large sum for Ambassador Status. The second week we were given access to the Club Lounge. Now this I would prefer than a free room upgrade. Overall the hotel was very nice but the room upgrade and the club lounge we were given in the Crowne Plaza was much better... 24 August 2014
