Jianyang mutton soup
Jianyang mutton soup origins from the town of Sancha Lake. Today it has become one of the major local diets. You can find the mutton soup in the restaurants around the lake. The soup is famous for its mellow and lasting flavor, which is truly one of the delicacies you cannot miss when you come to Sancha Lake.
Driving direction
There are two routes to Sancha Lake: first is driving along the Chengdu-Chongqing high way, exit at Sancha Lake road sign; The secend is to drive through south extension of the "Dan Jing Hill ". In the evening, you can overlook the beautiful downtown Chengdu plain from the top. Tips: Don't drive too fast for your safety.

Sancha Lake
Sichuan Jianyang Sancha Lake, also named Sancha reservoir is the national AA level scenic spot and large type reservoir located in the Sancha Town along the upstream of Jiangxi River. It was built in march,1975 and completed to the current scale in february, 1977. Due to the spectacular surrounding scenery, Sancha Lake is also called the "Pearl of Tianfu".
