Location is good, just 10 mins away from the Petronas Tower....I will recommend this hotel to my friends and relatives. 23 October 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful & Memoriable stay in Intercon KL I stayed in Intercon hotel KL for 2 weeks broken to 2 trips in September. I had a great stay experience because of the staffs in general that made the stay memoriable and wonderful. The Front office & Conceirge staffs are not just wonderful bunch of people but made every interaction a seamless and smooth one because of their knowledge and their ability to bond with guests to make us feel so special and welcomed. There are many 5 star hotel properties in KL but Intercontinental is different because of the personalized touch! Would like to specially mention Koggi, Gigi, Didi & Firdaus of Guests relations and Azli & Jaleel of Concierge. These staffs made the difference in my stay. F&B Staffs are also equally a gem and made my frequent interaction with them in the restaurants always a pleasant one. Special mention to Hizam from Serena, Lai yen, Heliyana, Natsuko from Tatsu and the team of part time Room service staffs which bonded with my son whenever we order room service and many more staffs not mentioned here who has made such difference. We truly missed the staffs when we left and we long to return to stay again. Thank you everyone that made our stay so memorable! 21 October 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Laundry Service experience This is the only IC that rings the room phone in the evening (sometimes late evening) just to return laundry when I put DnD sign on the door . It happened repeatedly til I replied to please honor my DnD sign. I also experienced two times wrong laundry return (belonged to other room). Housekeeper, front-desk and reception staffs hospitality are the plus points. In-room couch and its pillows were found smelly when I checked in. It maybe the most un-clean spot in the room. I prefer to have cover-sheets over the couch and its pillow. 19 October 2012

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Recognition for RA I use IC around the world and always everywhere I go IC upgrade to a club room or suite but in IC Kuala Lumpur have another local policies for this upgrades. I requested at least access to the club but they told me about pay more for have access to the club. Really dissapointment. At least the new room with extra king bed is very awesome. 18 October 2012

Negative: Not good attention from service staff from downstair restaurant. Internet price is too much expensive for a business hotel. Otherwise nice hotel with a great location. 15 October 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic Room The room was excellent. However, there was a very strong smell in the hallway. We were on the 23rd (non-smoking) floor so not sure if the smell was due to a cleaning product. The one negative with the room was the spottiness of the wireless connectivity. It was very difficult to connect, and would continually disconnect. The breakfast buffet was totally disappointing, not enough variety of selection for an international buffet. The coffee was much too strong. We requested a pot if hot water to weaken the coffee to make it passable and were unable to get it. We attended the Canadian Thanksgiving Ball the evening before, and although the meal was excellent, the service was below par. For example, the gravy for the turkey was brought out so early that by the time the turkey was served, the gravy was cold. 12 October 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Weekend Redeem Ambassador Weekend Night. Upgraded to Executive Suite as Gold Ambassador member. Check in was a breeze. Room size reasonable. Bed was comfy and big. Complains: 1. Emergency torchlight in drawer not working 2. Housekeeping did not ask if we like to have room vacuumed when she was cleaning the room while we were in it. 3. Air Cond in room not functioning properly 4. Lights in Living room can't be switched off individually as its connected to Master switch. 5. Service staff at Breakfast not efficient. We had to ask for our coffee from several staffs before we could get them. 6. Service staff at Roti Canai counter not attentive. Asked for it and and was only told 20 mins later that they ran out of it. 7. Service staff at Club Lounge Hot food counter took 15 mins to serve hot food ordered. 8. DVD was not connected to TV Otherwise the staff at the Club Lounge was very friendly and knowledgeable. 12 October 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stay at Hotel Intercontinental Kuala Lumpur The staff is excellent. Reception worked fine without any problem. The concierge gave us great help in getting the tickets for the Petronas Twin Towers. We also got excellent advise for things to do. We recommend the hotel also for the outstanding breakfast service. 12 October 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Club Lounge great service I stayed in the hotel for 3 weeks in September 2012, in a club floor suite. All aspects of the hotel service were good, but in particular the friendly, efficient and top class service of the club lounge staff were outstanding. The food provided in the lounge at breakfast and evening cocktails was of very high quality and well presented and the on site chefs are worthy of praise. All in all a notably good experience and we will be back on the next stay in KL. 12 October 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Expenses not clarified Generally writing good reviews of hotels worldwide, this stay (2nd one) turned to be very forgettable one. 1) staff was keen for me to join priority rewards program. When I mentioned I am already member and requested to find my membership details, they could not find the same. No care was given latter to find the same details. 2) staff was very helpful to find doctor when required during the stay 3) while checking out, I was in bad health and when I questioned about internet charges, the billign staff told me I actually used internet. whereas I was sure I never asked for internet and never even plugged-in internet from my room. when i told the same, staff started feeling uneasy and did not revert to me, waiting time. I had to leave for airport and hence paid the bill. And not to mention, I had same issue with internet when I checked-out during last stay but then I was paying the night before and had time to figure out with the hotel people. They reverted charges for 1 night when I didnot used internet. 08 October 2012
