Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A perfect break away We had three excellent nights and overall, a perfect stay. The suite was huge and extremely comfortable and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us and our baby. A big thanks to the Club lounge staff too who were excellent. 16 April 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Superb, Welcoming Hotel! Everyone who works at this hotel seems to go out of their way to express and deliver an excellent customer experience. The rooms are spacious and everything about the hotel is 1st class. The location is walking distance to the West End, although it's easy to go by taxi or bus if you prefer. Across the street is Green Park and a tiny bit farther is Hyde Park so you are within easy access to extensive park walks. Busses and tube transport is close by as well. I have stayed there a couple times ... it's truly wonderful to be "welcomed back" by genuinely friendly people who are obviously there to help make your experience positive and memorable. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 5* Experience I booked this hotel as part of a theatre trip package when travelling on business to the city. This proved to be the cheapest option for me and made staying in this beautiful hotel an option. The doormen were attentive and courteous as were the reception staff. In particular Aurelia was professional, warm and welcoming when I arrived. The room was large and tastefully decorated as well as comfortable. I was impressed with the light in the bathroom too. Also the attention to detail was incredible; good quality toilet paper and luxurious complementary toiletries were welcome. I had room service which was timely and delicious. The concierges were helpful and knowledgeable. They were able to direct me both to the theatre and to the business district the following morning. The website was a little misleading as to which tube station was closest to the hotel. The map suggested Green Park when it was much closer to Hyde Park Corner. This, perhaps, should be looked at. Breakfast was delicious (I would have liked more information about what goes into the food as I have a number of food allergies. I did not ask the staff so this was partly my own fault but it would be ideal if dietary information was available on the table to avoid having to ask) Staff in the Cookbook Café were breakfast was served were delightful and attentive without being overbearing or intrusive. The range of pastries, cereal, fruit and cooked breakfast was impressive. The food I had was delicious. Check out was painless and I was offered to leave my luggage etc. with the hotel until later that day. I would have no reservations about staying here again. It was incredibly good value for money and I already have recommended it to people I know. I will myself be visiting London again this year and will be staying here. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by How a Hotel should be This was our first visit to The Intercontinental but it won't be our last. The Hotel is beautifully decorated in an effortlessly stylish way, the staff are all quite exceptional in that they are very friendly and super efficient without being stuffy or aloof, we checked in with a very old and muddy Range Rover and were not looked down upon by the Valet or any of the front door staff, they recognized us and referred to us by name each time we passed. The Hotel being situated on Park Lane obviously gets its fair share of very wealthy visitors but I can honestly say we were treated exactly the same, this is a true testament to the training and selection of the high quality members of staff this Hotel employs. We stay in Hotels all around the world for business and pleasure and would rate this Hotel easily one of the very best. Well done to you all and we look forward to staying with you again, we highly recommend a stay here, you could not possibly be disappointed. 13 April 2015

A high standard of service and quality, but the option one should choose is to have room service for breakfast - don't try to venture to CookBook Cafe as its inferior to the breakfast served in ones room. Staff are always willing to help and go the extra mile to help. One can't rate the service enough. A modern styled hotel downstairs. The bar is always a pleasure to drink in. 10 April 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by V-day weekend We stayed here for valentine's weekend. The hotel is in a great location, very central; and it is beautiful. Once you walk in, you smell roses and it was quite refreshing. We had a London room facing the park. The room was not too big, but not too small either; just the right size. It was clean and I assume, one of the renovated rooms. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The staff was very helpful as well. Will definitely stay here again next time in London. 09 April 2015
