I would tell all my friend and family how the staff looked after Us Both made me feel very welcomed All the staff made us feel so at home . Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing Stay in one of my favorite locations I've been frequenting this property over the last 15 years on business and pleasure and have made it my "go to" property whenever I'm in London. Unfortunately, I was disappointed during this last stay for the following reasons: 1. I recognize that as a Spire Royal Ambassodaor member I get upgrades if available but was disappointed that traveling with my young family (wife and two young boys 7 and 3) we were put in the smallest room I've ever stayed in that location!! 2. I used my points to pay for 3-night stay and I wrongly assumed that I should be recognized for my loyalty to the IHG group 3. I accepted the fact that there were no upgrades available and didn't complain one bit upon check-in which was done very professionally 4. I didn't appreciate the facts that our toilet amenities (shampoo, body wash, etc.) wasn't replenished after our first night and we completely ran out on our last night forcing us to wait for it to be replenished after we got back to our room late on our last night 5. Minibar wasn't replenished throughout the stay 6. I provided my feedback on all of the above to the night manager (Ben?) on my last night in an effort to ensure that my feedback is taken seriously and was surprised that upon checkout no one tried to even offer any acknowledgement or apology for my inconvenience during my stay. I would have booked two separate rooms if my kids were old enough as I have enough points to do so but I couldn't and in all honesty I don't think that members of my status shouldn't have to feel sorry or be punished for using my points towards a family vacation. I have been treated in a much better and appropriate way in many intercontinental properties across the world even when booking using reward nights. Finally, I would like to commend the rest of the staff, bellboys, porters, wait staff, bar men, and concierge for their superb hospitality fitting the Intercontinental name. It's unfortunate that I'm going to reconsider my future choice of properties in London due to my last stay. August 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent hotel in a prime location Second time I have stayed at this hotel, albeit a number of years apart. The hotel is lovely although quite pricey for drinks etc.....but that's to be expected given its location. Staff are very attentive. The doorman was a pleasant, very welcoming person; he always made you feel like you were "arriving home". And we never had to wait more than a few seconds for a taxi. August 28, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Central London location This hotel is in a wonderful spot in central London. The staff are courteous and knowledgable. The recognition for loyal IHG customers was, at best, modest. Overall, it is a nice property in a beautiful place. August 24, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Weekend Stay Upgraded via Ambassador Status to a Studio Suite with Lounge access. Whole experience was very professional at check in – although asked to wait 2 hours for actual room – not too much of a hardship as we went for afternoon tea in the lounge. Room was a good size for London with a spectacular view over Park Lane/Back garden of Buckingham Palace. Comfortable furnishings and a really good bed and quality linen. Bathroom was well appointed – lots of towels and toiletries and an impressive powerful large shower. Despite its location there was no traffic disturbance – we slept really well. I have to really recommend the lounge – breakfast was simply excellent – buffet and order from menu table service with high quality ingredients. Afternoon tea – again – all high quality cakes/scones and teas. In the evening there was a decent selection of drinks including Moet; canapés were high quality – but you would not replace your dinner. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay – it’s location was perfect and a quality experience. August 23, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worthy of the title "Best Hotel!" Ever I brought my wife to London Park Lane Intercontinental for her Birthday, to say this hotel went all out is an understatement. From the moment we entered the hotel, we were wrapped in luxury. The Receptionist was brilliant - organised our room even thought we'd arrived very early. The room on 7th Floor was fantastic - everything at our fingertips. The Lounge was fantastic - and the views excellent. Shopping just around the corner, Hyde Park on your door-step, my wife was ecstatic. The staff in particular in the lounge were top-class, very quietly ensured you wanted for nothing. Fantastic "Afternoon Tea" even thought I'm Vegan, they catered for me. Top level service for ever meal. Only down-side, the Canapés in the evening was bland and uninteresting - a pity because everything else was 100%. By far the best hotel I've stayed in, other hotels can aspire to this level. Well done IHG you've got a winner. August 18, 2015
