Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 394 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Location and Service As a platinum member I used my points to stay at this hotel as we did the same last year. This years room experience was much different as there was no free upgrade available and we just had a classic room. This was disappointing given I use this hotel brand most weeks with work. There was no coffee or sugar in my room so I had to call down and ask for this and there was no complimentary water until I requested it as a platinum member. The hotel itself is beautiful and very luxurious but given I used all my points for the year to treat my brother in law and his girlfriend and myself and my husband I would not do the same next year for what I would consider to be quite a basic room compared to other IHG hotels I have stayed at this year. The hotel staff as usual were very polite and helpful and the hotel is very clean and common areas very delux but the room was just disappointing. 12 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic Experience, and Highly recommended for Royal Ambassador guests I spent a weekend escape in IC Park Lane. This Intercon really lives up to its being one of the four flagship ICs around the world. I have been to IC HK, IC NY, IC Paris, and this time I finally came to IC London. The upgrade for Royal Ambassador is generous. It might be a regret of not being able to enjoy club benefits for free even as a RA when a basic room is reserved; but if a RA books a higher category room, eg. a club dlx room like what I did this time, the upgrade is generous. The first night I was upgraded to a spacious SPA Suite, and the second night I was upgraded to One-bedroom Suite which is indeed a fabulous suite. Not only the living room and the bedroom are separated and both spacious, but also the view is stunning. Near to us is the Park and far beyond is the London Skyline. When the night fell, the Shard, the Tower Bridge, the Big Ben, the Parliament, etc., all decorated the night curtain and a sip of champagne besides the window with friends was just the right thing to do. Also, the Theo Randall Italian Restaurant was excellent. I, along with a couple of friends, had a Saturday dinner which turned out to be a rather smart choice. We each had a three course dinner, and the Italian flavour was right to the point. In addition to the suite and the food, the service was great, especially the front desk. Jessica was very helpful and supportive, and another handsome receptionist (forgive me that I cannot recall the name) welcomed me with Mandarin Chinese which surprised yet warmed us (he is not Chinese but picks up basic Chinese greetings). IC Parklane is famous for its pursuance of being junction of the East and the West, and what I experienced has indeed proved that. I will definitely revisit here again and recommend this IC to my friends. 11 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by As Good As It Gets This hotel surpassed all our expectations. Of course, we expected all the high quality furnishings, beds, pillows, etc. - the easy stuff. The hotel's best asset though is the staff. Always courteous of course, but going further by conducting themselves with the perfect blend of respect and informality. Simply excellent throughout. Incidentally... the breakfast buffet was a highlight in terms of choice and quality. Loved it. Highly recommended. 10 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great night in the heart of London I recently visited this hotel as I was flying from Istanbul back home in the USA and decided to stop for a night in London to see a musical. The hotel was very close to the Hyde Park Corner Underground station (just some stairs but very close) which you can reach directly from the airport without having to change trains (which means you are sitting the whole time). The concierge and his team were very helpful in obtaining tickets for a musical that night. A very nice Lithuanian lady in the concierge desk gave me plenty of suggestions on where to eat before or after the musical. She also told me how to get to the venue. I took an umbrella from the room and walked about 15 minutes to Queen's theater. This is a very nice area of London and I felt safe walking late at night. It is less than two blocks from the Hard Rock Café and there are many places to eat in this area. The room was very nicely decorated and I was received very well. I slept superbly and I loved the bathroom and the furniture in my room. I felt at home in this hotel and I'm looking forward to a repeat visit next time I am in London. 08 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Staff makes all the difference Our recent visit to London was enhanced by the excellent customer service. The breakfast staff was cordial and the made to order omelets a treat. The front desk was very professional and resolved a minor issue immediately. The concierge desk was exceptional securing excellent seats for a show and a last minute reservation at the Shard. Everything was seamless so we were free to truly enjoy our time in the city. 07 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet Comfort in a Convenient Locatin It was supposed to be just a two-night stay for a business meeting as close to the City as we could get. I wouldn't have cared about the amenities other than a comfortable place to sleep. But I was immediately impressed with the greeting and the professionalism of the staff. I expected ostentatious opulence but instead found professional simplicity in an environment to suit all tastes. I felt that if I wanted to be pampered I would have been. Since I wanted anonymity I was given the courtesy. The room was also professional and comfortable and I felt the need to move into it, which i rarely do. When I left it, even after such a short stay, I had the empty feeling that I was leaving a place i could easily call 'home'. 07 November 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by CLUB LOUNGE ACESS to Royal Ambassador. Royal ambassador t&c been updated 2 years ago stipulating clearly when a Royal been upgraded to Club room or room with free Club lounge access then access should be granted free. I stayed last february at IC park lane and at that time i ve been upgraded from classic room to suite and free access to club. When i checked inn this time again been granted upgrade from classic to suite but with no access to lounge which was available at discounted rate. I called the ambassador desk who agreed with me and decided to call the hotel then they get back to me apologising and explaining Park lane lounge is excluded and only available at a fee, well fair enough did the Ambassador mentioned that at anytime???even in its newly updated T&C??NO. Was the ambassador staff aware of that before calling the hotel??NO. This was clearly a mess up as we always experienced with Ambassador and i decided to call IC guest relation UK based office,i have to admit a very professional, experienced, efficient staff who seems to understand the Ambassador terms better than Ambassador office, she decided to call the hotel and get back to me granting me a free access to the club. I am in no way criticising the hotel, their lounge is exceptional and i will understand if they decide to exclude it but we need a bit of clarity, while last february i was granted free access which maybe a one off i got confused why not this time??? The Ambassador T&C mentioned many exclusions regarding suite type upgrade, they could have been more clear adding if any Club access was restricted. I am in no way saying club access is a royal benefit no,it might be in some occasions. I think all Royal members will be grateful if IC park lane explains its policy as to avoid any missunderstanding in the futur. 06 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Enjoyed our overnight stay Stayed overnight in this property. I was impressed by the professional, friendly and sharply dressed staff. The concierge desk was very helpful in providing directions to attractions and great dining experience. The fish and chips at the Grenadier were awesome! Jesicca was friendly and helpful at check-in. The room we stayed in was the Classic Room overlooking a park. Smaller than what I'm accustomed to in the US, it was cozy, comfortable, and quiet. We were welcomed with a plate of pears in our room. We enjoyed that very much. There were ample outlets for laptops, Ipad, and cellphone chargers. Internet connection was excellent. And the Bang and Olufsen TV was an excellent addition. Checked-in a little early and had our luggage stored while we checked the attractions. Good to know our belonging were in safe hands. Very nice experience. 02 November 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Thanks for making a memory The weekend was my granddaughter's 18th birthday. The entire staff made us most welcome and made the event very special. When the birthday cake arrived from Walter and his team, I thought her eyes would pop. Many thanks. 31 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable rooms and great amenities. The staff was the best we have experienced in all our travels. They were knowledgeable, hospitable, and fun to associate with. Will be our first choice when we return to London. Wonderful experience. 31 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lions Win at Wembley Came down to watch the NFL Game. Detroit Lions stayed there too but got a good night sleep. would have expected a good deal of noise since they won but didn't hear a dicky bird. this is a good hotel and would stay there every time I can afford it! 31 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fabulous hotel and great service This hotel is fabulous, and the service is great. The staff go out of their way to help in any way they can. We were initially going for Saturday brunch in the Cookbook Cafe - which is out of this world - but decided to stay over as well. It is a little pricey, but as it is a top class hotel, that's only to be expected. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. Unfortunately we always seem to get rooms where outside/corridor noise is an issue, and on this occasion it was from the nearby lifts - constantly in use, with people entering and exiting - although the room itself could not be faulted, our sleep quality wasn't good. This would not prevent us from staying at this hotel again, as overall it was an excellent experience. 31 October 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Location The hotel was convenient to bus and subway service and catered to all of our needs through a professional staff. 29 October 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Uncomfortable experience No Nikkei shinbun(Japanese Financial Times) was delivered regardless of our guest’s request. One of our guest’s luggages were not delivered to his room(we had to come down to the reception but had poor support for that). Door boys were absent-minded, just standing by the door without calling a taxi for us when we were waiting for a taxi on a rain day( no taxi came for 10 minutes, then we reluctantly started walking to find a public hire by ourselves). These facts made us extremely disappointed and we wish you to take the necessary corrective measures to improve your service 。 29 October 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent room ambience and great room service The staff at the reception was very welcoming and courteous. The service by the porters was good. The rooms were very clean and one really felt at home away from home. The room service menu had quite a selection and the room service was of a very high standard. 28 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location and ecellent service My wife and I had a memorable holiday made even better by staying at the Intercontinental London Park Lane. We enjoyed every moment from arrival to departure. The room, bed and all accessories were great and we always looked forward to getting back to our hotel at the end of each day after sightseeing, it was truly our "home away from home". In particular the staff were the best we have experienced after staying in many hotels. 26 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outstanding On arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome, and the service was terrific. The staff are a special type of person here, they remember you, professional, friendly, seem to know your wishes before you ask, and have time to ask about you, even when there busy. I was given the best service possible, and my upgraded room was perfect and waiting for me. I purchased the club package, which was really worth while, and turned a very good experience, into a perfect one. easily the best hotel to stay in while visiting London, and recognition of the IHG rewards, and Royal ambassador makes this the number 1 hotel brand for loyalty and your always rewarded back in style 24 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A magical weekend My husband and I recently spent a short weekend in London. At the IC Park Lane we felt comfortably spoiled from check in to check out. We were very impressed by the friendly and professional staff, the room and the overall look and feel of the property (do notice the gorgeous flower arrangements!), the yummy, varied and plentiful breakfast and the super-comfy bed. The smashing location of the hotel, close to underground, busses aplenty and walking distance to three parks, Knightsbridge and Piccadilly - made it possible to do a lot of things in the short time we had. It was magical and I am very much looking forward to my next stay. Well done, Park Lane! 23 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Location and food The location of this hotel is great, especially if you use the tube in London. Is very convenient and also walking distance from shopping areas. The park in front is a must to walk around. Italian restaurant was also a great experience in terms of food and wines. Very kind staff. The only thing that I did not like, is to seat in some tables at the bar, that was "reserved for good" for some clients and no chance to use them. This is very unusual and I never experiece this situation in any other Intercontinental hotel. 20 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stay here everytime Good service, lovely beds - just a nice pace to stay when in town. 19 October 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ALWAYS A GREAT STAY We always stay at the Intercontinental Park Lane in London primarily for its location. We also love the Club Lounge which is a wonderful place to relax with amazing views of the city. Great value for money. Rooms are looking a little jaded though, air conditioner was very loud during the night and bathroom amenities were not quite up to standard in quantity and variety. However, this hotel is made up of wonderful staff which is wonderful but can also represent a challenge. Most staff are from other countries, and to make oneself understood can sometimes be a challenge. But all is handled with graciousness and friendliness and all in all, a great stay! We will return. 17 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great service very good staff and room very conmfort and the room very cleainess 13 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Front desk service and great bed Gina on the front desk was extremely helpful in printing a document for me with no notice and quickly. Bed and pillows were very comfortable 13 October 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by London Park Lane - Problems when busy I have stayed in intercontinental hotels all over the world and I have been pleased with the excellent service, until now. During a recent stay at the Intercontinental London Park Lane the level of service and food was similar to a budget hotel chain. The hotel was very busy with what appeared to be a wedding and a business conference but that should not reduce the standards. The check in was good and the highlight of staff engagement. The guest room was very smelly and noisy. The club lounge senior staff were surly and food was poor (inedible). 09 October 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by slow breakfast It is unaccettable that in such a hotel we had to wait 10-15 minutes every morning to find a table to seat for breakfast. Not enough tables for such a large hotel! 09 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pretty Nice Hotel/Excellent Staff Overall our experience at this hotel was really good. The staff was fantastic... from Benjamin at the front desk, to the staff in the Intercontinental Club... all outstanding. The hotel was beautiful, but the rooms were a little dated. Our room was smoky even though it was a non smoking room. The front desk had the ozone machine run in it, but it still smelled smoky afterwards. 08 October 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Courteou staff, comfortable room, excellent breakfast We appreciated having gluten-free bread and soy milk available for my companion at breakfast. Only one comment: I and a few other people had to stand around in the lobby waiting for other guests to arrive. This is the first hotel I've ever visited that didn't have armchairs (well, there were two small ones, which were both occupied) and sofas in the lobby. 07 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable hotel with central location Studio suite with view over Hyde Park is around 38sqm Room with seating area, flat screen television with large selection of channels, Bose mini chain with iPhone deck, kettle, desk with UK and Europe sockets Very comfortable bed Bathroom with large Agraria amenities, bathtub, separate walk-in shower, towels warmer, Frette bathrobe Very quiet Good: - Very smiling and attentive service (I noticed a true improvement in the quality of service). For example, when I was proposed to buy the club access, after having declined it as I have a breakfast included rate and only drink Diet Coke, I had the good surprise to have a member of staff coming into my room to change all the softdrinks by Diet Coke - Central location with easy access from LHR airport (Picadilly line) - Very good breakfast (with the notable exception of bread and pastries) Bad: - Wifi signal was very poor in the room (and only works when close to the corridor) - Breakfast restaurant was very crowded (but smiling staff did all they could to arrange things quickly) - The layout of the room was rather strange (it was much longer as it was wide, giving it a not so luxurious - and rather bleak - atmosphere) 05 October 2014
