Overall a pleasant experience as the location was Great with easy access to all major sights in Central London. The Concierge was helpful, friendly and pleasant.
Room was smaller than my expectations and the roll away bed cramped up the space completely. Unfortunately, my request for a higher floor with Hyde park view was not granted.
House Keeping service was poor ! The cups and glasses were left unclean. Tea and extra towels, etc.... were not replenished in time despite reminders. Hence, the rating has dropped as this area needs to be improved upon to make the guests stay a good or excellent one, thanks !

I was very happy to confirm that throughout the years you have kept the same quality level of service and attention to detail. The concierges in particular were superb: quickly and helpful to make excellent suggestions ranging from wonderful restaurants to relaxing activities.
My only suggestion would be to upgrade the hallways and rooms on th e fifth floor.

When choosing a hotel - there are numerous elements one needs to take into consideration. The Intercontinental Hotel is absolutely the perfect place to stay. The vibe is great; the staff are friendly, happy and very helpful at all hours of the day and night; it is classy and sophisticated. The rooms are spacious and clean. The scent of the hotel as you walk in will forever remain in my mind and the smiling faces of all who work at the hotel assisted with making our stay in the UK an even more enjoyable experience.
The hotel is close to Marble Arch, Green Park and one other tube station which is so helpful and within walking distance if you are on a budget. The area surrounding the hotel is peaceful without being boring and has a few beautiful restaurants one can eat at.
The restaurant inside the hotel is wonderful with delicious meals and snacks available
I would recommend it to everyone

We had a great time at the InterContinental Park Lane. The employees were all extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and were able to answer all of our questions as well as provide whatever service we needed. The room was really comfortable, even with the cot, which was more like a bed, that we had for our grown son. I could have done without the piped-in perfume in the lobby area -- I have no idea why anyone thinks that is necessary. And we didn't understand what the cloths were that were placed on the floor at the bedsides every night -- presumably so your feet don't have to touch the carpet when you get out of bed (but I don't know why that would be a problem). The cloths don't contribute to sustainability in any way, since they are used once and have to be washed. The hotel's location was the best part of the stay, since we overlooked Hyde Park and didn't feel like we were in the middle of a big city, yet we were a few minutes' walk from almost everything we wanted to do.

Recently stayed with my family and it was not a pleasant experience as house keeping did not keep put an extra bed which was annoying. There was a long queue at breakfast and the food was cold. Overall the experience was not pleasant and don't think I will be recommending to friends or family.

I been staying with Intercontinental in many cities. I would just say my experience in Intercontinental Park Lane is just fair.
I am impressed with the building, decoration and facilities of the hotel. However, the staff and service just fair. For the value of money, I normally looking for the good quality service.
Few area of improvement is the door guard is not welcoming and this lead to bad impression of hotel. My check in process also not smooth and many mistakes and only one of the staff address me by surname either at counter or club lounge. The staff is not as enthusiastic nor attentive towards customer.

We spent a relaxing few days whilst the heat and rush of London was close by. Every time we returned to the Hotel it felt wonderful to walk into a tranquil haven of peaceful attentive luxury.

At 1:30pm we were unable to check in, we were told that a room upgrade would be available if we waited a little while, the check in staff took my mobile and said they would call when ready. No call came and when we arrived back at the hotel at 4pm our room was still not ready. We were allocated a room - the room door was wide open when we got up there, and were then asked to take a seat and wait another 40 mins for a different room to be ready. No upgrade was forth coming and all told the whole experience was rather shambolic. Not a bad stay but not what you would expect.

Everything about our stay in London was fabulous. It was my daughter's first time to visit Europe and we had a wonderful time. However, the only negative experience in the hotel was the room service personnel answering the phone in the kitchen. He was very short on the phone and never got the order correct. He needs better phone manners.

Booked a family room (2 Adults +1 Child) and when we arrived it was a double room only and we were then give a fold up bed for our ten year old son. The room was therefore very cramped and being there for a 50th Birthday Celebration it certainly was took the edge off the celebration.
The location, reception and staff were all fantastic, but the room was very poor.

HAD TO WAIT FOR 15 MINS TO CHECK IN ONLY ONE RECEPTIONST ON DUTY EVEN THOUGH I AM PLANTIUM AMBASSSADOR!!!!!! WAS THERE WITH MY FAMILY ROOM WAS VERY SMALL REQUSTEAD FOR A CHANGE OF ROOM HAD TO WAIT FOR OVER 20 MINSUTES MORE SO I COULD NOT UNPACK WAS THEN SHOWED ANOTHER ROOM WAS JUST THE SAME,WAS THEN TOLD WE WILL FIND ANOTHER ROOM THIS NEVER HAPPENED,ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE DUTY MANAGER STILL WAITING FOR A CALL BACK TILL TODAY.

The hotel location is very good but the service was very bad i never see room service like this they are very careless , no respect to any demend for room service .i have ambassadore card but i found that it dose have any previlige with it .realy it is waste of time and spent of money for nothing .i do not recommend this hotel to any one unless it is location but you can find the same location with better services realy i was shocked by the way they answered the clients .i hope any of the responsable of the hotel contact me to explaine to him my very bad stay .

We are now into our tenth year of staying in Park Lane. The principal attractions are both its location and its access to the West End and to the Royal Parks.
However its staff, particularly at reception and in the Club Lounge, deserve a full mention. What could be a standard, although attractive, five star hotel is made much more attractive and comfortable. For us it has be come a "Home From Home"

Once again staying at the london intercontinental has surpassed itself , ranging from the reception staff to the club room
Lounge including a bed that everytime you dive into its all embracing warmth, softness and comfort reminds you that the hotels attention to detail constantly improves. I'm also particularly impressed by the new refurbishment of the lobby and how the staff all seem to be alert smiling and positively responsive.

I love this hotel. It is, by far, my favorite business hotel. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast, although expensive, is the best in London. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The location is central and close to the tube. I look forward to my next visit!

I like this hotel. It is always nice to be there.
Working table is a bit small for the rooms.
Also housekeeping concept needs to be improved.
I was disappointed with bed - for king/queen size bed they provide the guest room with twin matrasses put together. it is a shame.

Once again I headed into the Park Lane residence for a weekends celebrations as I advanced a further year.
I was welcomed warmly by the Club Lounge manager Maria and was quickly set-up with a welcome beverage and nibbles, it was cocktail hour afterall.
I was with a friend who was rather taken aback by it all, the service was great as normal. I had a marvellous weekend and the hotel got it all right, lovely welcome amenity and birthday card was waiting in the room. Breakfast and afternoon tea in the lounge was great.
I'll be back and I suppose I'll bring the parents as well

This is a great hotel - good location, pretty good rooms.
But this hotel is severely understaffed now. A few examples:
1.The reception is always very crowded. You WILL have to wait for at least 10 minutes if not more.
2. Try calling the concierge or front desk. 9 times out of 10 no one will answer because they are busy serving customers in front of them, so they just cant answer the phone!
These estimates are based on my attempts to interact with the hotel o ver two recent stays of average 4-5 days, so these are not isolated examples.
The hotel management is strongly advised to fix this asap.
Yes, they have a good location, and yes, their proximity to some Embassies guarantees a certain clientele, but poor service will ultimately lead to a disaster.
As someone who has stayed here many many times, I would hate to move to another location, but things don't change fast, I will....
ALSO, the Ambassador upgrade is not really the same anymore. They give you a standard room with a better view and call that an upgrade!

We stayed one night and loved every minute from check in where staff were really efficient and helpful, the room was really comfortable and had everything we needed. We ate in Theo Randalls restaurant which was excellent and good value - we booked the special offer and would recommend to anyone. Overall we had a fabulous stay. It is expensive but we thought it was money well spent to make the weekend special. Thanks to all staff at the hotel.
