This property has fast become a London favourite. The initial imposing size and scale of the building, belies the intimacy of the hotel within, and the care offered by the personnel. After two visits they remember your name, and on the third they're taking an educated guess on your preferences. For leisure or business alike, I recommend this hotel, B

have several notes on bad hotel service
1 - no breakfast is let us know the existence of the person
2 - the insurance payment from the card room's bank account but Tfajoh deduct amounts from the account accidentally Hotel banking Alahasabi.
3 - There are no hospitality room of water or fruit.
4 - pay 20 pounds for 2 box note that most of the hotel offered free of charge.
5 - smelly and discomfort in the room

This was our 2nd stay at your hotel. The great location and overall design features made us choose this particular hotel. We had booked our rooms through the IHG website, however this wasn't 'troube-free' as we found out when receiving our confirmation. While reception areas, bars, fitness club and rooms are all extremely well laid out and decorated with a lot of taste, we felt that the 'food-quality' at the Cookbook café did not live up to our expectations. Internet charges are still not included in the hotel-rates nor come as part of the Ambassador package, which is difficult to comprehend.

Stayed a week at this hotel and it is very well worth the stay. Staff and Executive Lounge was fantastic. Would recommend this hotel to friends, family and business partners. It is well placed with a tube entry at the door. Will stay at this hotel again in future visits.

Would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Rooms were comfortable and lots of light. Service was very good with the exception of one of the concierges (a woman by the name of Ilga, not sure of spelling). She forgot to make several of our restaurant reservations. However another concierge Michael went above and beyond to take care of reservations and also helped us out with various other London ideas. Hotel is located in a good location for getting around.

We just recently stayed there using points. Everything about our stay was perfect from the very beginning.
We arrived extremely early and our luggage was secured and delivered to our room once the room was ready. I had earlier requested a certain type of room via email with Samantha and it was exactly as requested. Thank you very much.
Also, I'd like to add a special thanks to Kristine (Guest Relations Mgr). We took a day trip and we left some sensitive documents on the desk near the trash can (I actually thought I may have accidentally thrown them in the trash). I called and requested the room to not be serviced, but when I called, the room had already been cleaned. When we arrived back from our trip we were greeted by Kristine and were explained the situation. But, returning to the room, the documents were on the desk and all was well.
Thanks to Samantha, Kristine, and the entire staff for making our 5 night stay very enjoyable.

We had a two night weekend stay and from check-in we enjoyed the experience. Allocated a room on the corner of the hotel with a window overlooking Wellington Arch and the view from the second window was of Hyde Park. Courteous, smiling staff members greeting us with genuine warmth made our stay just that little bit more special.
Location - easy connections to the tube network via Hyde Park station close by. Buckingham Palace a 5 minute walk away.

Thanks to the Park Lane another wonderful stay in Europe´s best city.
We got an upgrade in an incredible suite with view of Hide Park Corner.
The Club Lounge offered drinks anf fantasic breakfast with excellent servive.
We hope to be back soon.

I booked studio suite for 1 week
I didn't sleep for 3 nights from the AC fan ( very noisy ) I request from the hotel management 2 times to fix this problem but the action taken before my check out in 1 day !!!!!!! :(

The hotel not recognize a regular customer specially an ambassador card member who choose intercontinental hotels I discovered always offered a bad rooms not the newly refurbished rooms.

Two lovely stays in February, a great experience, so I will definitely be returning.
Location at Hyde Park Corner does not always suit my needs when I am staying in London, as I am not a tourist, but for any tourist, this location would be a plus.
Easy to get to from LHR, just 40minutes and a £5.50 tube train on Picadilly line LHR T1/T4/T5 direct to Hyde Park Corner station 100m from hotel. Quicker than a taxi and much much cheaper.
I have Intercontinental loyalty program status as Royal Ambassador Status, so expect to receive good treatment and recognition which I defintely did.
All IHG loyalty program status benefits volunteered at checkin both stays without me having to ask.
Excellent rooms and upgrades on both occaisions, upgrade to a 1 bedroom suite, internal view on cash booking, and upgrade to big executive room with park view on my points/award booking.
Very comfy king beds, nice pillows, nice toliletries and good bath towels. Air con was good and not noisy, both rooms were quiet and I slept well. Room was good, flatscreen TV's, all sports (Sky) channels etc, nice work desk, plenty of powerpoints for laptop etc. .
Well stocked minbar, ice bucket, usual coffee/tea facilities, but no ice machines on any floors, you have to ring room service for ice for your drinks. Although ice delivered free after 30+ minutes, I was warned if hotel is busy, ice from room service may be charged at £10/delivery.... ouch!
I paid extra for lounge access on arrival, lounge is worth adding if inside the hotel a lot, especially if staying as a couple since Lounge access is priced per room not per person. If breakfast is not included in your room rate, then lounge breakfast offsets some of the extra lounge cost, else I would spend the money in restaurant instead.
I found the Lounge breakfast buffet very very good, no bagels though to go with some nice smoked salmon and cream cheese, also found my ordered lounge cooked breakfast disappointing.
Nice afternoon lounge teatime with cakes, and moet champagne with canapes in the evening.
Checkin/Checkouts were quick, bills correct, all guest facing staff doorman/reception/concierrge/lounge were smart, courteous, knowledgable, it is staff who help make any hotel stay a 5* experience, not just rooms/facilities.

While all staff that we encountered were professional and pleasant we would like to make special note of your regular door- man. Over the days we stayed he greeted us with a smile and a pleasant word at each encounter. When my wife and I returned from a run, he made a special effort to provide us with water and a towel. I regret I do not know his name (he didn't work the Sunday we were with you but he was there the other days 15th-18th of Feb). We will come back to your hotel again becuase of its location and fine facilities but also because of your staff, especially because of this doorman.

Arrived at hotel early in the morning after overnight flight from Singapore having paid for accomodation for the previous night. Was allocated a smoking room - I am a non smoker. Requested a room chang as not surprisingly the room had a heavy smoke odour. No other rooms were available - was not happy.

The Intercontinental is a fine buidling, and in the main the slight flushes of detail and usually similing attentiveness of the young staff did it proud.
However, this wasnt a hotel for those wanting a solid nights sleep. Even though I got a decent upgrade to the 3rd Floor, the dawn chorus of slamming doors started around 6am and reached an alarming crescendo at 8ish.
Some of this can be attributed to the locking mechanism and hinges on the doors that are very out of date (as was the room in general), the rest is the responsibility of the cleaning staff which attacked their tasks with a relentless gusto around 730am and were still pounding doors, furniture, and walls many hours later.

I regularly stay at this hotel and am now recognised and welcomed back when I return. The bedrooms have all the facilities I need and are immaculately clean. I find the consierge service very helpful and the location is perfect for the West End.

Although a certain amount of noise in corridors and adjoining rooms is unavoidable, we consistently find that this hotel has noisy guests in the early hours.
I realize it is in the middle of London and that a number of guests will return to their rooms well into the early hours. However, the hotel should at least prompt guests to be considerate of others (the majority) who will be sleeping after midnight onwards.
Some hotels have notices on every floors and in the lifts requesting guests to respect others by keeping noise to a minimum late at night.

Rude staff, no acknowledgement of Gold Ambassador Status or provision of amenities such as upgrade and water (which should be provided under the terms and conditions). The room was dirty and the staff did not care. I complained and got offered 7000 points as compensation - seriously how about a refund - I had to pay for a night at the Intercontinental Westminster? Also complained to Ambassador as its a breach of Trading Standards to sell a product where the services bought are not provided.
Try the Westminster Branch instead would be my advice - the staff are great and the rooms are pristine.

Provides a comfortable and convenient base for a visit to London's West-End. Excellent room with very comfortable bed and well-equipped bathroom. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our stay - special mention for the staff on the main entrance who were always cheerful and helpful at all times despite very cold, snowy conditions
