Insider Tips

London has always attracted all nationalities due to the richness of its culture, the diversity of its society and its vibrant economy. The tolerance of the people living here has helped the city become a melting pot of ethnic groups: currently over 300 different languages are spoken in London. Be aware of the cultures around you and respect their ways.
Steeped in history, this London hotel was once the site of a royal residence. Now the epitome of contemporary elegance, the hotel is located just steps from Hyde Park and in view of Buckingham Palace. Enjoy people watching in our chic lounge or escape to our full-service spa. Savour the menu at Theo Randall’s, voted the ‘finest Italian in London’ or try Cookbook Café offering a fresh, seasonal menu. Bike the Serpentine or stroll the South Bank, from County Hall to Borough Market.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Indigos are always great with small compromises The Indigo's we've been to have always been located in amazing locations, and this one is no different. It's conveniently placed to be close to the metro and central to many attractions. The only compromise with Indigo's which we don't quite mind are that their rooms are always a little small. However, the rooms are very well designed to save space in just the right places. The staff was extremely helpful and polite, and the cafe at this Hotel Indigo served surprisingly extremely tasty food. Seems like they have a great chef in the back. I think the duck confit and lobster bisque was one of the best I've ever had. Everything was clean and modern feeling like always. Only complaint was that WiFi was spotty, and speed was medium fast at best. Although WiFi across our Europe trip seemed mediocre everywhere. December 13, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic! This hotel is a great find - very well located if you are using Heathrow and want to visit central London. Hotel is new and has been designed with style and flair. The rooms are spacious given the London location and extremely well equipped. Bathroom is excellent! The staff were very friendly and helpful - made me feel a very welcome guest. There were some issues with breakfast but the restaurant manager quickly sorted them out. Overall highly recommended for a London stay. December 12, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel in a great location From the moment I set foot in the lobby, the hotel gave me a good feeling. Staff were friendly and welcoming, check-in was efficient. I had two small issues, one with equipment in the room and one with breakfast service, both of which were quickly and efficiently dealt with to my complete satisfaction. I would stay there again. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet Comfort in a nice area This is a great 'conversion' of an older building. It retains the charm of the original, while updating and modernising throughout. Very well maintained - and kept clean. Typical Hotel Indigo Décor and facilities (in keeping with the brand identity). Rooms are on the small side. We had an upgrade to a Junior Suite - which was roomy enough for two. It looks like the standard rooms might be fairly tight. Staff are well trained and courteous - and the service and décor of the hotel combine to provide a feeling of charm and intimacy. Very close to the Earls Ct Tube Station (very handy) and to the 74 Buss Route. There are also plenty of 'Barclay's bike stations in neighbouring streets. Quite a few pubs and restaurants in the area (Try Troubedour Café Bar / Restaurant / Club). I would stay again. December 4, 2014
