Thanks for a wonderful stay the valets and doormen were extremely helpful and front desk staff took time to help me with everyhting. Great staff overall, too bad my trip was too short.
Ill definately have to come back for longer next time

Beautiful hotel set right in the centre of London. Almost everything you want to see in London within easy walking distance!! Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliment, Big Ben, 10 Downing St, Trafalger Sq, Leicester Sq, Soho, China Town, Covent Garden, Embankment, London Eye...the list is Goes on. Once you've visited all these place, a beautiful, luxurious and friendly hotel awaits you to help you relax and unwind after a hectic day!!! Fantastic hotel for which I will most certainly be visiting again!!!!!

The hotel was beautiful. The room looked brand new as the hotel is less than a year old. The location was good as I could walk to many tourist sites. A tube station was right across the street which was convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

Studio Suite was roomy and comfortable. Only one niggle - no full length mirror at all, and no mirror anywhere within the reach of a power socket for the hairdryer.
Smokehouse dining was disappointing - our first choice main course was not available, and the dishes we chose were third rate - almost every British pub does better food.

We enjoyed an 8 night stay with two rooms and Club room access. The hotel is an ideal location, quiet and yet, accessible to all of London. After a hectic day of activities, it was always a pleasure to return to this welcoming hotel with the attentive staff and all the comforts of home. Highly recommend staying here.

From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we felt like we were special guests. The staff were efficient and friendly and could not have been more helpful. Our room was spacious and modern with everything that we could have asked for. The turn down service was a lovely add on which was not expected. All the furnishings in the room were fresh. Having stayed at many interncontinentals Hotels around the world, I must stay by far, the Westminister location has surprise me the most. From the first moments you enter the door, you instantly notice something different. The aroma in the air provided a relaxing sensation. Upon checking into the hotel, the attendant was very knowledge and provided not only a brief history lesson about the hotels location, but he was kind enough to take me to my room and explain the various features of the room which was a first for me at any intercom. We had gotten in late, we wanted just to get a bite to eat, so he recommend the restaurant in the hotel. When I was checking in to the hotel, i was explaining to the host that i was not very happy to stay there because of my experience when trying to book the room. He told me that he would inform the manager of what had happened. The manager call me, and explain that he was sorry for what had happened and offer free complimentary breakfast for the time i was there. The dinner experience was very very good, our waiter, Adam, was the best, from his wine recommendation to his desert recommendation everything was spot on. I would recommend this place to anyone, and whenever i am in London again, i will stay here always.

Stayed last week end at this property and although i can notice improvement in Royal ambassador perks i would comment on 2 points:i was allocated a so called studio suite that have dramatically shrinked since my stays on march and april,just a look at my downloaded photo will explain how can the hotel call such room studio suite???unless the hotel have reconfigured his rooms!!!!
staff and management giving opposite informations regarding my complimentary club accesss,on 2 occasions staff said no access till i finally requested manager on duty who accepted my argument,i barely used the lounge as i was fasting but its a matter of principles and rules and staff needs to be trained properly to avoid such argument.

This hotel is the best I've ever stayed in. The staffs were extremely friendly and worked very efficiently to get everything done as soon as possible. The room has the state-of-the-art technology and is always a clean and comfortable environment to be in. The food is also very delicious.
It also has convenient location. It's right across from St. James's Park station. If you prefer a taxi ride instead, just talk to the concierges and they'll get a taxi for you in less than 20 seconds!
All I could say is that this hotel is a wonderful place to stay if you're staying in London.
I definitely recommend it.

We have just stayed 3 nights in this fine London hotel. It is a combination of modern with cutting edge technology and traditional 5 star service. We were upgraded on arrival and our suite was exceptional. We travel the world from New Zealand regularly and are discerning travellers but also like value for money. You can guarantee a memorable stay here.

Our five-day stay in London could not have been better. The Intercontinental Westminster was impeccable with beautifully furnished rooms and amenities. The location was perfectly located next to Westminster Abbey, short walk to Buckingham Palace and St James Park Tube right across the street. Great pubs in the area. The staff was outstanding, very helpful and extremely professional. We would highly recommend staying here as well as come back again in the future.

Was upgraded to a higher tier room for free, the room has a spacious bathroom. Unfotunately the usual rooms (except for club rooms) are overly small. I could hardly find place for my lugage case without tripping over!
Location is fine, St. James Park is right across the road.
I have checked out earlier and have moved to different hotel at County Hall which offers similar rate but with spacious room and better access to main station Westminster..

In every way this experience was average. I'm a Royal Ambassador, and despite having a guaranteed 8 am check in I had to wait in the lounge for 90 minutes before getting a room, when I had arrived at noon. Was I compensated in any way for this inconvenience? No.
The room itself was pretty unimpressive. I know rooms in Europe are small, but I went to a Hotel Indigo after this and got an equal sized room. Supposedly this was my two-tier upgrade?
I had been emailing the hotel for 2 weeks before the trip. They knew exactly when I was coming, who I was, etc. I was treated like Joe Blow off the street.
The staff was good at fixing problems, but pretty horrid at anticipating them and being proactive. Just not up to the standard in any way shape or form.
Will I be back to this property? No. This is sad. I'm in London a lot, but I'd rather stay at the hotel Indigo, which has no obligation to me as a RA, but treated me much better...

This was an excellent experience , your hotel exceeded our expectations , the rooms were by far the best we stay in our trip to Europe . I have to say you set very high standards and we were constantly comparing the hotels with yours , I don't have to say there is no comparison yet .
Service was superb and concierge service was excellent so very helpful .
Will be thrilled to return one day .

From check in to concierge service, just excellent. Exec lounge staff was EXCELLENT. Both of us enjoyed the personal attention to detail and speaking with us. Room a bit small, but excellent comfort.... Bed, pillows, AC, and outstanding bathroom.

We only booked a standard double but the room allocated , room 210, was a tiny corner bedroom. No recognition of IHG platinum status on arrival or during stay, artwork in hotel nice but otherwise a very basic, somewhat drab hotel not in keeping with others in this chain.

This hotel made our stay in London the best. The staff is super friendly, and goes above and beyond our expectations. the location is the best for site seeing all of the major sites with out the requirement of a car. The Hop On, Hop Off Big Bus is only 2 blocks away. We will return to this hotel next time we are in London. Highly recommended.

We loved this hotel for many reasons: beautiful, great location right across from St. James tube station, new, luxury rooms with amazing beds, comforters and pillows, great technology, free wifi, nice minibars, etc. But a few things were not so great that the hotel needs to work on: (1) our room (353) was able to hear all of the garbage truck loading/unloading in the back alley; my father's room was an interior room and did not have this issue; (2) one morning, a fire alarm went off at 6:20am. My husband and I got dressed, grabbed passports and before heading downstairs called the front desk to see if it was a false alarm. It was, and no announcement followed indicating a false alarm. Eventually the alarm went off. To make matters worse, the alarm went off falsely off and on for 3 (THREE) more hours!!!! and an announcement was never made, no apology was ever made, no mention at all. I am/was pregnant, and we had Wimbledon plans that day, and given my lack of sleep things did not go well. No credit or anything was issued. (3) The housekeeper never cleaned or removed any glasses that had anything in them. I had a glass of orange juice sitting in the room for an entire day (they come 2x a day) until I finally set it outside in the hallway. They did the same thing again with a glass of water. It was just never cleaned. Very odd. (4) I joined the Ambassador program at the end of May. For some reason it did not register with the "system". When I was in Boston, the woman at the front desk saw the confirmation email and updated my status. At this London IC, the woman at the front desk said "I'm sorry, the system isn't registering." All I wanted was my water and basket of fruit, which my father got (he and I registered on the same day.) So obviously they have some service kinks to work out, but the physical hotel is awesome, really pretty, new modern and luxurious. The food options are not great though. We never ate at either the lounge or the restaurant after a less than average but expensive breakfast. Fortunately there is a Starbucks, Pret a Manger, convenience store and another coffee place within a block (many food options, even a pub next door.) I would stay here again, with slightly lower service expectations.

We were in London to see the Rolling Stones for our Anniversary and booked into this hotel. The hotel is great and the room was lovely but there was a faulty smoke detector and the fire alarm went off at six am. after all clearing out the hotel and getting the go ahead to go back in the alarm went off every twenty minutes which was a bit annoying. I am sure this was a teething problem in a new hotel and the manager kindly gave us a full refund.
