My 3rd stay at this property over the last couple of months and i have to say that each and every time it has been a wonderful experience. Again the service was flawless from the moment i stepped out the taxi from the airport literally. As the door opened from my taxi, i was welcomed, by name - from the doorman who recognised me from my previous visit. I was very kindly assisted inside for check-in, again i was welcomed back by name from the very helpful receptionist. A truly personal service. I was assigned the very same room i stayed on my previous visit which was a very nice touch. Again all the amenities were afforded to me including a very nice welcome note from the General Manager of the hotel welcoming me back. What is great to see on here is that many other guests who have posted seem to be afforded excellent service and enjoy their stays, so there is definitely a consistency by the staff to service their clientele with such high standards. Well yet again i shall be returning to this property in the next few weeks. In my book - this hotel in unmatched in its category. Keep up the excellent work! 15 June 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location & service We loved our stay at your hotel which helped to make our first time in London so memorable. We could walk everywhere. What a great location; to be so close to famous landmarks we had only seen pictures of before. The Concierge staff was exemplary. The room was lovely; a fantastic rain shower! Our only suggestions would be to add a preventative non-slip surface/mat in the shower and to improve air circulation in the room later at night. Thank you. 13 June 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet and Convenient The property was conveniently located for our purpose, which in this case was leisure with St James's Park underground station located directly opposite. One of the plus points would be the relative tranquility of its surroundings unlike the heavily 'touristed' areas. The property offers a lovely sanctuary after a long day traversing London. Staff were great and friendly. Overall, it provided me the experience that I have grown so accustomed to at any Intercontinental property. 11 June 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful experience This was a most enjoyable experience. The rooms are amazing the quality of the hotel decor is extremely well presented. The staff are very attentive and engaging. We ate in the Blue Boar restaurant which is highly recommended for the quality and variety of food and the knowledge of the staff with regards to wine choice. This is definitely our number one choice of hotel when visiting London. 11 June 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Absolutley Amazing, Chloe is the best person we have met on vacation! Chloe was so wonderful from the first time we met her she was warm and kind and very accommodating. She was such a big help with our travel needs when some plans went bad, we can t say enough good about her. She is not only extremely knowledge about the entire region of the UK but also very honest and helpful. She should be given a high position in the concierge or in management because if there were more people like her at your hotel running things people would never be able to leave :) Thank you Chloe it was such a pleasure meeting you! 11 June 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient gem I really liked the scale of the InterContinental London Westsminster -- large enough to have the conveniences associated with a large luxury hotel yet small enough to feel more like a boutique. The Boar's Head pub and restaurant were excellent and the staff curteous and helpful. The location was exceptional for lovely walks/runs in St. James's Park or along the Thames. 10 June 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 best nights sleep in a hotel For a very central location and a busy weekend in the capital there was absolutely no noise or disturbance of any kind throughout the night. Actually managed to sleep in for the first time in ages. The location was perfect for sightseeing and use of the underground. 08 June 2014

We chose Westminster for locality - Knightsbridge. Lovely hotel, suite was well proportioned with nice touches. A quick compare: 1. Club Lounge - favour Park Lane; space 06 June 2014

I have stayed at several other hotels within this group in the UK and overseas. My stay did not live up to past excellent experiences and considering this is a 5* hotel I may have to think about taking my custom elsewhere sadly. 04 June 2014

During breakfast the waiter heard us discussing what we were going to do for the day and give very usefull advice about what was on and what attractions were closed. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A lot going for it ! We loved the comfort and style of our upgraded room and the convenience of the location for buzzing round London. I felt our room was a little severe and would have appreciated some flowers or more of the yellow tone to provide a burst of warmth. The bedding was sublime and we slept well. Most staff were very friendly and well trained but one or two were rather severe. Public areas are delightful and Afternoon Tea in Emmeline's could have been one of the best we'd experienced but the teapot was late in arriving and our scones were like rocks. The latter were replaced with good grace. The RHS theme sat well with us as we had visited the show the week before but even though the champagne was free flowing the cost plus service charge does make it one of the most expensive in London so perfection is demanded. Breakfast was a disappointment. The Blue Boar does not provide the best environment somehow and try as I might I could not make allowances for the busy -ness to excuse, for example,my bacon and tomatoes arriving on the same plate as my husband's. The quality and variety of food was very good indeed. We will certainly use again and hope that the service and arrangements for a busy breakfast time have improved. 04 June 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Charming staff and excellent facilities As always the staff were welcoming and helpful, this was our fourth visit and we had room service for a change which arrived promptly delivered by another friendly member of staff and was well prepared and presented. We opted for room service as we had been disappointed with our evening meal in the restaurant on our visit in April, which was a shame as we were clebrating my husband's 60th birthday with our son and daughter in law. We particularly enjoy sitting in the bar on a Friday night listening to the live music. The downside of our visit was that our daughter became unwell while we were staying and we had to leave earlier than expected. The staff member who checked us out apologised that as we had paid in advance we could not receive a refund. We didn't ask or expect a refund but I thought it was nice of him to mention.. 04 June 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by lovely experience with my husband We was shopping and enjoying London on the day, and decide to stay over night, we live in brighton, so we come to London quite a lot , but that was definatly the best experience with hotel We love the bed, it's so nice and soft, it is just so comfortable, we are very very impress by that. Also the air condition is good, nice temperature. One thing I think hotel should have some spare chargers and things as we forgot to bring on the day, but we expect the hotel will have things like that. We also joined the ambassador, and we will come next time. 04 June 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lux, convenient High standard hotel in a great location. When I returned from my run on the first morning I was handed a bottle of water- I was v impressed. When I returned from my run on the second morning I was expecting the same. But it didn't happen. That's the trouble with going above and beyond- you've got to keep it up, or don't start!! Food, drinks and service in the bar are great. Bedrooms are lux and spotless. Service in the lounge and restaurant at breakfast time is hit and miss- depending on who's on duty. Food and drinks are very good in both. Heading back again next week. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for! 04 June 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Low value for money The location is great,but the services were below what was expected from a 5star hotel.the breakfast offering was rather narrow and was not tasty at all.it was also a problem that the hotel reserves as a deposit at checkin (!) the ENTIRE(!) fee for the stay PLUS 100 gbp per day,ie has no trust in its guests at all and is contrary to the general customs of similar hotels.the theme of the hotel(parliament politics) is a good idea,though. 04 June 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by As always, good I recently upgraded to Ambassador, not sure it was the right choice for 32,000 points. All I got that was different from usual was some fruit and maybe a bit faster internet. I stayed in the same room type when I was just a platinum member. so I would recommend NOT to upgrade until they start adding some more value to becoming Ambassador level. Service as always though spot on!, rooms brill though some of the carpets are starting to become a bit grubby in places. thank you 01 June 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Turned a tedious day into a night to remember I was required to attend a meeting in Westminster by one of my clients. I was not looking forward to spending a night in London as I live in the country and enjoy the peace and quiet. I selected a special offer on Last Minute . Com and was surprised to see that the hotel I was allocated was 5 minutes away from my meeting venue. I had not even heard of Intercontinental hotels so was amazed when I arrived at this beautiful hotel with incredibly attentive staff. It didn't stop there as I was able to check in earlier than I planned and dump my bags. I had a wander around the area and for the first time ever felt thrilled to be in the heart of our nations capital. Dinner was fantastic with ribs to die for and the room was the most comfortable and high tech that I have ever stayed in. Needless to say I was thrilled to see there was a turn down service where the room was tidied up and made to feel cosy. I slept as well as I do at home even though I was in Central Westminster! Needless to say I will definitely be bringing my wife here for a romantic weekend and to do some sightseeing safe in the knowledge that we will sleep well and be well looked after. Thanks to all the staff at the Westminster Intercontinental you made my day very bearable! 01 June 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Intercontinental Westminster - Overall We had a few issues with our stay. Our biggest disappointment was the hotel bar (The Blue Boar). The service as terrible. It took over 20 minutes to get a drink. The bar was not even half full, the waitress was great but the two guys behind he bar were hopeless. On arrival at lunch time (12 pm) our room was not ready!!! The receptionist took our mobile number and said she would ring when it was ready. We never got a call!! The instructions within the room were not good enough. We had trouble with the heating / air conditioning (no instructions provided). We had trouble finding the kettle and the iron - hidden in the 2nd wardrobe. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Weekend Stay Had a great weekend at this stunning hotel in the heart of Westminster with my wife. We arrived by tube at St James Park and the hotel is across the road, 25yds from station, ideal! A small 5 min walk takes you to Westminster Abbey, The Houses of Parlimanent and Downing Street. A 2 min walk the other way takes you to Hyde Park. We booked a classic room which is compact, the wardrobe was a bit too small and there was no real dressing area for my wife to get ready (also i couldn't find a bottle opener?), but the room had a quality feel and the shower and TV were fantastic. Breakfast was 1st class and the staff were excellent throughout. The bar attached was enjoyable too, with live (subtle) music on the Friday afternoon. It was a quite pricey place to stay, but it was a special occasion and above all the location makes this stand out as a 'must' for us to stay over again. PS - Take the Houses Of Parliment tour, really interesting if you like that sort of thing! 29 May 2014
