Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Experience We stayed for two nights and, according to my grandson, the experience was "awesome". The rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable, the room service was excellent and the food was great. I was traveling with my 9 year old grandson and when we arrived they had hot chocolate and cookies waiting for him in the room. The entire staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and very children friendly. I especially liked the fact that the hotel is within walking distance to the main attractions. 29 June 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Loud construction starts at 5:30 next door! I've been staying there several days every month for the past several months and the hotel is very nice. Last month I was awakened every weekday morning before 6:00 by construction at a large building across the alley on the back side of the hotel. I was on the 3rd floor, but it sounded like they were backing trucks up, yelling and moving metal around. When I checked out I complained to the staff and they said that they could not do anything about it but would make sure to give me a room on the inside next trip. Well that next trip was last week and I was again on the same side and the noise was so bad that I had to get up at 5:30. Needless to say I will not be returning any time soon - so beware of where your room is located if you want a restful night sleep. It's not the hotels fault, but it ruined my last two trips to London! 29 June 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wow My wife and I had one night in London and stayed ant the intercontinental Westminster. It was amazing. It is new and wonderful and I give it the highest recommendation. Couple things could be better but I don't want to be picky. First the club level was on the first floor and we were able to hear traffic from my room. The room was new and absolutely beautiful, but there were no full length mirrors and the window shades allows light in early in the morning. These are minor, very minor complaints on an excellent hotel wonderful staff and great experience.. 28 June 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful hotel, great location My husband and I recently spent 2 nights at this wonderful hotel. The room and the customer service was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble, even when we weren't sure how to use the coffee machine, someone took the time to come and show us. I had mentioned in an email exchange previously that it was our anniversary, and we found in our room some chocolates and a hand written card wishing us a happy anniversary, unexpected but very thoughtful. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Stay I loved this hotel. Everything from the location to the rain shower to the beds and bedding. I would love to stay here again should I get the chance to return to London. I couldn't have made a better choice. The only improvements that I can mention are that I could not find an outlet in the bath area near the mirror to use the hair dryer to dry my hair. I had to use one that was not near a mirror making it hard to style my hair as I normally do (although I managed). Another small improvement is that the water from the shower ran out of the shower and into the rest of the bathroom. It did not remain just in the shower area. Lastly, while I loved the large, thick bathroom towels, they were actually too large and thick to wrap around my wet hair. Aside from these minor things, I completely recommend the hotel. 26 June 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Memorable Fire Alarm Experience! Very nice elegant Hotel. I would recommend it if you want to stay in central London. Metro tube station is just in front of the hotel for convenient transportation within London. Very clean room and stylish. The bathroom is very big and nice however not a sound proof which is not always suitable. The breakfast is average and I didn’t like the atmosphere of the dining restaurant where it is very small dining and crowded with many guests and fewer waitresses! You need to wait to get served. The hotel was not prepared for my visit although I was an Ambassador member and I booked more than 1 month before the visit! I haven’t received the recognition of being an Ambassador Gold member as I was expected. I couldn’t get a room upgrade and the duty manager was trying to help and offered me breakfast instead since it was not included in my initial booking. When I came in the room there was no welcoming gift or the mineral water that I should get as an Ambassador member I had to call for it! I stayed for one night and I was aiming to try the hotel for future visits. During the early morning there was a fire alarm that all of the guests have to escape through the fire exists. That was very memorable as it was my first in a hotel. In the morning we found out that was not real and they were investigating how it happened. I would have apprenticed if the hotel have sent some sort of a gift to guests a token of appreciation that this happened very early in the morning and was totally unpleasant for a lot of the guests. 23 June 2014

We stayed two nights at your hotel in Westminster and found the hotel,it's amenities and service received by you staff excellent. On arrival the greeting was welcoming and we were promptly checked in and given a mini tour of hotels facilities and our room. The room was excellent, clean and had all you needed. Breakfast superb. Many thanks to all the staff, you should be proud of them, especially Sylvia on reception and the excellent information and help from the Scottish doorman ( sorry did not get his name). We will definitely be staying at this hotel again. Thank you. 16 June 2014

My 3rd stay at this property over the last couple of months and i have to say that each and every time it has been a wonderful experience. Again the service was flawless from the moment i stepped out the taxi from the airport literally. As the door opened from my taxi, i was welcomed, by name - from the doorman who recognised me from my previous visit. I was very kindly assisted inside for check-in, again i was welcomed back by name from the very helpful receptionist. A truly personal service. I was assigned the very same room i stayed on my previous visit which was a very nice touch. Again all the amenities were afforded to me including a very nice welcome note from the General Manager of the hotel welcoming me back. What is great to see on here is that many other guests who have posted seem to be afforded excellent service and enjoy their stays, so there is definitely a consistency by the staff to service their clientele with such high standards. Well yet again i shall be returning to this property in the next few weeks. In my book - this hotel in unmatched in its category. Keep up the excellent work! 15 June 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location & service We loved our stay at your hotel which helped to make our first time in London so memorable. We could walk everywhere. What a great location; to be so close to famous landmarks we had only seen pictures of before. The Concierge staff was exemplary. The room was lovely; a fantastic rain shower! Our only suggestions would be to add a preventative non-slip surface/mat in the shower and to improve air circulation in the room later at night. Thank you. 13 June 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet and Convenient The property was conveniently located for our purpose, which in this case was leisure with St James's Park underground station located directly opposite. One of the plus points would be the relative tranquility of its surroundings unlike the heavily 'touristed' areas. The property offers a lovely sanctuary after a long day traversing London. Staff were great and friendly. Overall, it provided me the experience that I have grown so accustomed to at any Intercontinental property. 11 June 2014

The staff are very attentive and engaging. We ate in the Blue Boar restaurant which is highly recommended for the quality and variety of food and the knowledge of the staff with regards to wine choice. This is definitely our number one choice of hotel when visiting London. 11 June 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Absolutley Amazing, Chloe is the best person we have met on vacation! Chloe was so wonderful from the first time we met her she was warm and kind and very accommodating. She was such a big help with our travel needs when some plans went bad, we can t say enough good about her. She is not only extremely knowledge about the entire region of the UK but also very honest and helpful. She should be given a high position in the concierge or in management because if there were more people like her at your hotel running things people would never be able to leave :) Thank you Chloe it was such a pleasure meeting you! 11 June 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient gem I really liked the scale of the InterContinental London Westsminster -- large enough to have the conveniences associated with a large luxury hotel yet small enough to feel more like a boutique. The Boar's Head pub and restaurant were excellent and the staff curteous and helpful. The location was exceptional for lovely walks/runs in St. James's Park or along the Thames. 10 June 2014

We chose Westminster for locality - Knightsbridge. Lovely hotel, suite was well proportioned with nice touches. A quick compare: 1. Club Lounge - favour Park Lane; space 06 June 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent accommodation poor service Whilst the accommodation at this hotel was excellent the service from most members of staff was poor and disappointing. I have stayed at several other hotels within this group in the UK and overseas. My stay did not live up to past excellent experiences and considering this is a 5* hotel I may have to think about taking my custom elsewhere sadly. 04 June 2014
