Very impersonal staff. Arranged pickup by their car and told 15 minutes. After 2nd call it arrived in 40 minutes and then almost took someone who had just asked for the service.
No newspaper, coffee nit replaced till asking etc etc.
Not your usual standards. Will stay elsewhere in LA for future.

Excellent, attentive service. Room decor dated but comfortable, bed outstanding. Room clean but not perfectly (chips under sofa). Breakfast very good but pricey. Workout room and pool wonderful. Walking distance to Santa Monica Boulevard. House car a bonus.

Room was on 3rd floor, south facing side right above a noisy day care center. Also the firealarm speaker in the room made a buzzing sound all night.
Requested another room and was told none was available.

After experiencing 5star service at well known Grand Tourism Hotels, I learned that this Intercontinental Hotel Company has to much to learn in order to improve the quality of the service rendered. When I went to the swimming pool and noticed the cleaning lady picking up dirty used towels from the floor, folding them, and placing them back to the "clean towels" bin, I felt sick by the scene, and doubted the clean towels in my room. There was always shortages in bathroom amenities and coffe as well. Comforters on bed were very thin and not confi. Concierge was mocking at the fact that we were having troubles with our rented vehicle, instead of offering help. The location is excellent though, for either business or leisure traveling accommodations, I would recommend staying next door, where you can count with clean, reliable, confi stay, larger pool, great gym affiliation, and better educated and respectful personnel.

We stayed at the hotel from 6 to 9 july. we had a very warm welcome as ambassador member and the status was fully recognized.we has wonderfull room with terrace overlooking the Fox studios.
The stay was perfect .very good information from the concierge.very good breakfast buffet.
The problem with this hotel is that it is becoming older and older.The lobby and the bar /restaurant are fine.But a serious refurbishment of the rooms (e.g.plumbing) seems necessary..
A specific desk for Ambassador could be usefull
We enjoyed our stay and I shall certainly come back for my my next stay in LA.

Having stayed at some of the top Beverly Hills hotels, this hotel is absolutely as attractive, private and luxe. The rooms are large with a terrace and immaculately clean: wonderful quality linens and large bathrooms with fluffy towels. It's close to everything too with a great valet service.

Besides the fact that the location is great and the lobby, restaurant/bar, gym and pool area are gorgeous I'm really disappointed with the bedrooms.
I have booked two bedrooms once I spent one full week with my family (7 people in total) but:
- both bedrooms had "small" two queen size beds;
- both bedrooms had horrible pillows;
- both bedrooms had old and very worn carpets;
- both bedrooms had torn curtains (a bit)

I used to stay at the Intercontinental when it was a Park Hyatt. When it was no longer a Hyatt I moved down the street to Hyatt Century Plaza as I am a Gold Passport platinum level member. On my most recent trip to LA the Hyatt was sold out so I gave the Intercontinental a try. The reason I was in LA was that our son was having disc replacement surgery at Keck Center of USC and we wanted to have him recuperate with our assistance post surgery. I booked two rooms, one junior suite and one king room with a competitive rate that included valet parking and breakfast. The day before our arrival I called and spoke to the Front Desk Manager, Tim, and told him of the importance of getting connecting rooms due to our son's surgery. When we arrived I found that Tim had upgraded our room to an executive suite with a connecting King room. This extra space made the stay much more enjoyable. Next year when I go to LA I will stay at the Intercontinental

CONVENIENCE TO ALL SHOPPING DISTRICTS.
ROOM VIEW LOOKED OUT TO FOX STUDIO'S, SO IT WAS VERY QUIET AT NIGHT.
WOULD DEFINETLY STAY THERE AGAIN.

this property is incomparable due to the warmth of its staff, the location, and the relaxed clientele (just the right the combo of business people and families).
we feel like family when we stay here and will be back as soon as possible. the general manager, Steve and the guest manager Galina, were very warm and surprisingly available to speak to us when we crossed paths.
our top choice when we go to LA.

I love the Century City area, very well located to shopping, food, and movies. The room was very tired looking, there were burnt out lights, dirty glass in bathroom, temperature kept changing. The fitness center was well equiped but cramped. We called for help with thinner pillows - they delivered thicker pillows. We called because room temp was to high - they said engineering would contact us but that never happened. The Valets were either very good or didn't care.
I will think twice before booking here agian.

I have never willingly wrote any any review for any hotel but this is my first time!
I am the Ambassador member for the Intercontinental and always choose to stay in this branded hotel whenever I was travelling. This time, I really had a great experience in this Intercontinental Hotel Los Angeles and I am looking forward to come back here again next time.
What do I like about this hotel? 1- The hospitality of the people 2- Huge lobby 3- The SPA & massage 4-The room 5-The bell service
I have never been regretted to renew my Ambassador membership with Intercontinental Hotel as I could get a free upgrade and other complimentary services. I will get a personalised welcome letter & cards from the hotel manager, I will get accumulative points to redeem more stays, special treatment at the reception.
Well, I choose Intercontinental for now.

We stayed for a wedding. Everything associated with the wedding was fabulous. The lobby was gorgeous and the bar area there was
Nice. Our disappointment was the pool area. Nothing to speak of. We are used to nice resort pools. So we decided to go to the beach. 35$ cab ride each way. Then 50$ to the airport. Ouch!

My wife and I celebrated our 11 year wedding anniversary at the hotel. It was gorgeous! When we arrived they had us on the 17th floor for the best views but my wife and I wanted the original suite we booked. The conciere immediately handled moving us, luggage and all. There was no fuss, no issue, no anything. He just immediately called down stairs and then brought us to our deluxe suite. Great size for LA and great location. Housekeeping was on the ball. They came to the room 2x a day. We have never stayed at the Intercontinental before, but we will certainly stay here again. The valet service would have our car out before we came down the elevator. I could not believe the attention to detail this hotel has. My wife loved the fresh flowers that were changed twice while we were there. We both loved the happy hour menu at the bar and the Sunday breakfast was great value. My compliments to the entire staff. We LOVED it!!

I returned to the Intercontinental after 3 years for the same conference. Excellent stay - front desk was great and so was all the rest of the staff. Thank you to the hotel for making the stay memorable and taking care of all issues.
Look for Hoss at the bar - he is knowledgeable about the area and will make sure you are taken care of in all the things you need.

I felt comfortable from the moment I walked into the
luxurious yet understated lobby. The hotel felt
cozy and quiet despite it's size and location. The rooms
were large, and came equipped with all the items you
would expect from a luxury 5-star hotel. I would
definitely come back my next trip to Los Angeles!!!

We stayed twice at the Hotel and totally enjoyed the experience.
The staff were very helpful and the Hotel is in great condition.
The rooms are very comfortable and there are plenty of amenities.
My wife and I were very happy we could use the gym facilities after we had checked out as our flight was not until 10pm.

I really enjoyed my stay. The room was comfortable and up to date. The vies of West LA were great. The room service was a little slow and the fries were extremely salty( unetable). Location was great. I went to a wedding and forgot my suit. I went over to the mall two hours before and was able to get a new suit.

My husband and I have been traveling to this hotel quite a bit in recent months due to business travel. We absolutely love staying at this hotel and our experience for all our stays have been wonderful. The hotel is situated in a great location central to different areas in LA, but mostly, the hotel is very comfortable, love the rooms, the staff is unbelievably attentive and have made our stays there so welcoming.

I am a platinum ambassador level member of the Priority club program and had a terrible experience at this hotel last week. I generally don't quibble at paying and beleive that one has to pay well to get good service, therefore this is not a compaint about paying rather the extremely poor value for money proposition at this hotel
1. There was no daily newspaper offered
2. The fixtures in the bathroom had issues and leaks
3. No hot eggs in the buffet breakfast (priced at $25/- plus tax plus gratuity).
4. When we asked, extremely cold response from the waiter in the restaurant - he basically said "please have a seat and the guy who waits on YOU will answer you"
5. Several people knocking on our door soon after checkin (about five times) including one at 11.00 p.m. on the night of checkin by maintenance for fixing a fused bathrrom bulb
6. Terrible bed, gave me a backache for a few days.
7. We had specifically requested for sofa bed to be made up by 7.00 p.m. and we come back exhausted at 11.00 p.m. and bed is not made
I have stayed in Intercontinental hotels worldwide on several continents - Muscat, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Seoul, Adelaide, New Delhi, Atlanta and never had a cause to complain till now.
The only saving grace for this hotel is the excellent doorman / bell desk team and front office manager on night duty. They are excellent people and did all they could to help me enjoy my stay but I cam away with the feeling that such a big hotel cannot be run by just these two people.

The best thing about this hotel is the staff. Valet, bell, room service, housekeeping and the staff in the vip room. One of the few hotels in LA with high standards. Rooms are always clean & the staff are always helpful and friendly.. Will not go wrong with this hotel. The only request, the overnight parking fee is pricey....

The hotel is good overall but is aging. It's an old hotel that requires innovation - there is specific 'old' smell in the room etc. Location is very good. Priority Members are valued here.

I'd like to give you some feedback about your work.
On my previous stay, I had to ask to bring bathrobes, bathe gel, botteles of water and complementary coffee or tea sets. And, when I called up to 'customer request' about these, my call was transferred to many people ( 5 times!!), you couldn't gime me a satisfactory response at all. I got a poor response on your concierge desk whenever I go to ask about something.
I make it a rule to stay one of Intercontinental hotels of the country where I visit on business trip or leisure, I was always satisfied with the other Intercontinenntal hotels, for instance, Bali, Singapore, Bangkok and Paris... but I feel extremely disappointed at the Los Angeles compared with the other hotels.
Please strive toward improvement of overall your service.
