Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Ausgezeichneter Aufenthalt in Malta Hotel, Zimmer und Service waren hervorragend. Insbesondere der Dach-Swimmingpool sowie die "Private Beach" sind hierbei positiv zu erwähnen. Die Lage des Hotels ist TOP. Ich komme gerne wieder! 23 October 2014

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Intercontinental hotel in Malta, the staff were ALL very helpful, the breakfast food selection was superb and catered for all tastes. the hotel is very well positioned and has great facilities including rooftop pool, indoor pool, gym and spa. My wife and I were on our honeymoon and when we arrived, to our surprise, we were greeted with a beautiful bottle of Champagne and very fancy nibbles in our room. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and every aspect of it. My wife and I would like to thank the ALL the staff of the Intercontinental for a wonderful experience at a special time in our lives. 22 October 2014

Staff were so polite and friendly with Angelic being one of the best. We upgraded to the club lounge and was so pleased we did as it added something special as the views from the 15th floor and ambience were special. 22 October 2014

The first room we had on the 8th floor was very comfortable but ther was a strong musty smell, especially in the cupboard and the drawers.We also had water on the fllor in the bathroom and noticed that the wall of the bathroom was wet oustside the room in the corridor. We were immediately offered another room on the 9th floor where the smell was less strong bit still there. The room was very clean and comfortable and the view on the garden very pleasant. The breakfast buffet was good, so was the service. Wehad two dinners at the Water Biscuit and two at the Paranga. We were delighted by the food and the service. We also went to the beach once, it was nice to have a sandy beach just down the road as they are rare in Malta. We weren't too kenn on the situation of the hotel, we didn't expect such a noisy environment. Fortunately our room was quiet. 22 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A wonderful experience The staff were wonderful, so polite and so lovely to deal with. Andreas on the front desk comes in for special mention - thank you for all your help and for the lovely welcome for my parents on their Ruby wedding anniversary - they were absolutely delighted. The stay exceeded all expectations and really enhanced a first experience of Malta - definitely warrants a return visit! The room was fantastic and the balcony was especially pleasant to sit out on of an evening. 21 October 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Just becase you call it a suite, its really not a suite. Advised on check-in on 11 Oct that we were upgraded to "junior suite" due to Platinum Ambassador status. "Junior Suite" turned out to be a regular room with a sofa, likely bigger than the IC Club Panoramic room which was booked, but certainly not a suite by any means. Completely understand that upgrade is a privilege offered when available, however see no point in a fake upgrade to a "junior suite". Definition of "suite" is a collection or set of rooms, not just a slightly bigger room with a sofa with coffee mugs and coffee / tea, but no kettle. Asked Club Lounge if any better rooms were available for the Platinum Ambassador upgrade. Advised hotel full and no better rooms were available and that we should be happy with the "junior suite". However, received call later in the day and miraculously a real suite had become available for last 3 nights of our 5 night stay, BUT at an additional cost of US$85 per night. I accepted and paid the difference, but disappointed that Platinum Ambassador status got me a fake upgrade, but $85/night got me a real upgrade. I could have just booked the terrace suite to start with for extra $85 or so and not have had to worry about the Ambassador upgrade at all. 20 October 2014
