I just returned from a stay at this hotel, I had previously been in the hotel a few months ago. When I went for breakfast in the lounge, the attendant remembered my coffee drink and made it perfectly. That's the kind of little gestures that mean a lot and make you feel more at home.

Don't use a credit card in the gift shop....you will be grossly overcharged on the exchange.

Overall it was a pleasant stay.
Overall Experience: not totally excellent because three days have passed since my check out and I have not even released floating charges on my credit card which affects my available for purchase. The release must be immediately to check out.
Sleep Quality. The sound of the air conditioning vents should be improved by a silent mass air distribution.
Knowledgeable Staff. The person who greeted me at the check-out did not know why I had made a charge on my check-inn. Upon check-in I made a $ 300, but before I had made another charge of $ 139, the check-out failed to explain me why I had the fee of $ 139.

The hotel has an Excellent service. Personnel is very well trained in all areas of the hotel
From below cons: Shampoo and others were constantly being changed and as a result IHC lower the quality. Are you testing this products in advance ?? or the guests have to test them for you.

All staff in the restaurant are very friendly and do their best to meet our expectatives. My housekeeper on floor 4 during last week was soooo good!! She was simply great. I had a erfect stay, ohh and the lemon pie was a blast!!

Intercontinental in Managua is located centrally in the city and is a comfortable safe hotel. The lounge area was a great place to relax and breakfast was very good. The room was quite spacious and had all standard amenities. Would recommend.

I always stay in this Hotel, great service and great food.
Friendly people, knowledgable service and confortable rooms also it a great Address while in Managua.
My only complain is the lack of parking for register guest that have rented cars. I had to park several times in the mall in front of the Holtel

The Hotel was clean, staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. The food was of high quality with experienced staff and well informed wine waiter. The added services , like dry cleaning was very good. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and will stay again during my next visit.

I had a great 2 nite stay here. The pool area is beautiful, though I did not use it, enjoyed the area around it and ate outside there both evenings. Very pleasant atmosphere. Friday nite music was nice, and not too noisy.
The food at all 3 restaurants was great.
Staff was incredibly friendly, specially Bellboy Pedro and Concierge Jeasonn. Jeasonn really helped me out with several things I needed to do in the area.
Oh, and importantly, the windows are sound proof, so in my room I did not hear any music or noise from outside, so I slept very well. This was a plus vs. other same level hotels in Central America.

Only thing I can complain about is the rooms are not very quiet, I could easily hear conversations in other rooms.

All my stays in this hotel was exceptional in the past ... (a few weeks back).
Unfortunately something happened here...
Receptionist was not attentive and after waiting for few minutes he asked if I lost my keys... when I was just checking in.
I booked a King bed, he gave me a double without telling me what I am getting until I get to my room...
I complained that night, the attendant said shed call back... the night passed and I complained again the next morning, the guy said he will call me back... after an hour no call back.
I wrote a complaint, gave my room key, amb card and came back no change. No recognition for Ambassador members.
Anyways, this is the last time I will stay here and will book my next stay across the street where I am a gold member.

I had an issue last time I stayed here with a shuttle pick up from the airport. I thought I'd try again and unfortunately had the same experience. I contacted priority club to make sure this location knew there would be four people who needed to be picked up at the airport with our flight info and time. Guess what, no shuttle ever came so we were foreced to take cabs. The cab driver insisted that we would need 3 cabs to get to the airport because of the amount of our luggage. Upon insisting that we only needed 2 he replied it would be the same cost as if we got 3. Welcome to Managua! Although this isn't exactly your problem, it is because if your advertsied shuttle would have been there I wouldln't have just coughed up $60 for 3 cabs! The other problem I have with this hotel is there is no free WiFi. Are you kidding me? It's 2013 guys - free WiFi is available at Starbucks for the cost of a cup of coffee if you even decide to buy one! Seriously considering a different hotel for my next stay in Managua which is usually once to twice a year.

we had an early arrival. check-in took 30 minutes for 2 people, with no one standing in front of us. both of us got smoking rooms assigned, without being warned about it. since only dropped bags, did not notice until at night. requested non-smoking room next day, which was given swiftly with no problems. but premium was to be in front of the elevator hence second night no sleep due to constant traffic.....
servie at the lounge bar (which is very nice) very slow, specially when one wants to pay and leave.

At breakfast they tell me it doesn't matter the amount of checks as breakfast was included in fare. I had to pay for all that at the end.
I found a bag of coffee in my room as appreciation of my stay. 10 minutes later they take it back saying that was for another guest.
