Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by A very unhappy Royal Ambassador As a Royal Ambassador, the experience at this Intercon was the worst. Lots of mishaps, as an example, It took 2 hours for the baby cot to arrive in the room (checked in a 11pm got the got at 1am!!!) There was no sense of taking the initiative for providing that extra good service for their customers. It felt like staying at a normal hotel with an absolute basic service despite being a Loyal customer. 02 December 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Staff is very professional but management is lacking any hospitality I have had again a very nice stay in the Intercontinental Hotel thanks to the staff at the reception, clublounge, and outlets (especially Elements). However I have irritated myself on the very unprofessional behavior of the management. Two examples: 1. I am asking the reception staf some questions regarding extending my stay in the hotel. The staff can not answer this question and is checking with their management. This GRM (I don't know her name) is standing 3 meters further and is only communicating with the staff. Not with the customer. So very strange that the staff is going up and down the the management for questions although the GRM could also go direct to the guest to solve this problem. The previous GRM (Agathe) was far more focussed on her guests than this GRM. It was actually very rude. 2. The General Manager arrived in the front of the hotel in his Porsche. Without saying anything to the bell boy and gave his keys. Very strange that hotel personnel can make use of the valet parking and enter front of the hotel. The GM went inside without saying anything to his guests (I was waiting outside the hotel for a taxi). Very strange behavior. I always believe in management by example. If this is an example for the rest of the staff I really think this hotel will fall in decay very soon...... 02 December 2014
