The smiles on there faces every time you see them would brighten anyone's day. They also go out of their way to make sure you have what you need. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic Staff My colleague and I stayed for 11 days. The staff at this hotel are fantastic: they care for you as a customer, remember your name and preferences and seem to genuinely care. We've seen staff notice us and the come over to check that everything is going well. Both of us made comments on the breakfast menu the staff immediately took steps to address it. As I diabetic, I noted that all the pastries were covered in sugar. The pastry chef made some simple pastries that I could eat. We had lounge access and found that the staff simply understood what we wanted. A few times were sat working and they left us alone, later when we started to slow down, they came by and asked us if we wanted tea (they already knew our preference) - perfect timing. The concierge and desk staff were equally attentive. Each morning we had a car booked to the office and as soon as we came down, they checked the status for us. I had a small issue with my laundry, a pair of trousers were missing. The guest services got the laundry staff involved immediately. The next morning, the desk staff told me it was an issue they would be taking to the laundry agent as soon as it opened. I can't say enough about the staff at the Intercontinental Regency. 18 September 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Excellent Service The moment you sight the hotel you get a great feel and once you enter and reach the reception you get a tremendous welcome from the reception staff. The room size is good and the bed is very comfortable to get a sound sleep. Bathroom size is also good to move comfortably and the water pressure was good to take shower. 12 September 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best overall experience in Bahrain Bahrain has a handful of luxury properties that deliver comparable services. The IC Bahrain has become my favorite over time due to the excellent and very welcoming hotel staff. The property was one of the early hotels in Bahrain hence the property is a little older then other hotels. It offers traditional luxury hospitality and never disappoints me after numerous business and leisure trips. Club rooms are excellent and overall the value for money is excellent compared to the other slightly more expensive hotels. IHG Member recognition is great yet what is more important it seems every guest whatever status or room is booked is welcomed with true hospitality. GM is German and a good mix of different nationalities within the hotel staff is maintained. Special thanks to Agathe (Guest Relations), Jasmin (Guest Experience), Benson (Guest Relations), Zulal (Guest Relations) and Younes (Reception). Concierge excellent as usual. 03 September 2014

Diesmal hatte ich ein Problem aus einem vorhergehenden Aufenthalt zu klären, welches mit dem Hotel in Bahrain nichts zu tun hatte. Lediglich die Tatsache, dass es sich auch IHG Hotels handelte, veranlasste mich, mein Problem zu schildern. Und es wurde mir geholfen - prompt! Das Problem wurde gelöst. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by wow fantastic guest relations service !!! I spent over 2 months in this hotel for work. Spending all day working outside in the heat. All I could think about was getting back to the Intercontinental Bahrain to relax. I would look forward to the fantastic service and experience I would get up in the club lounge. All the staff are highly trained professionals who always put the customer first. Anytime I had a problem with my room they would step over themselves trying to correct issue. If this place had a 6 star option I would click on it. I highly recommend staying in this hotel over all hotels in Bahrain and make sure you select the club lounge service when you check in. Particularly I was pleased having comfortable desk and reliable and easy accessible Internet in my room. Size of the room was just right for me. Available furniture and equipment in the room met all my needs. Club lounge food, beverages and club lounge staff continue to consistently exceed expectations. Elements pool bar is a nice place to relax in the late afternoon, friendly bar staff nice food, comfortable loungers and cool chilled music while you enjoy the pool Must mention housekeeping staff, rooms are always immaculate and cleaned to the highest standards. The 25m swimming pool is clean and refreshing. The Club floor room was very comfortable and equipped with all the quality amenities. I highly recommend this Intercontinental hotel. 16 August 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The Best Staff in any Hotel in the region The Intercontinental Bahrain has the best staff in Bahrain, particularly in the Club Intercontinental Lounge. There are other hotels in Bahrain with beachfront locations but for convenience of location, room quality and staff it is hard to beat. They have made some recent improvements to the poolside Bar (elements) which make it a nice place to relax during the day and (if you partake) enjoy Shisha at night and the new Band in Downtown is a great improvement but was a little disappointed with the food in downtown). Legendz is one of the better steak restaurants in Bahrain. The recent changes to the club lounge menu Afternoon tea (scones, jam and cream!) and the evening menu have added to the quality of the lounge and the breakfast is superb. The rooms on the club floor are worth the upgrade with great showers and the usual first class Intercontinental beds and linen. If you are very, very tall ask for a walk in Shower and not a Bath/Shower as the showers above the baths are a little low. An Expresso machine in the club floor rooms would be nice, this is becoming a feature in other Intercontinental's. It is the friendly, attentive, expert staff, throughout the Hotel ( particularly in the Club lounge,Benson, Zulal and all the team) that make this my only choice for a business or leisure stay in Bahrain. The waitstaff effortlessly coping with the challenges of a busy EID and making sure every guest was given personal attention. 14 August 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Business Hotel in Bahrain I had numerous stays in the Intercontinental Regency Bahrain (and some in other hotels in Manama). The Regency never disappointed me and many times exceeded my high expectations. Room upgrades, the always helpful staff and the perfect service are only some of the reasons. The Club Lounge is like my living room in the Middle East. It provides a private atmosphere and supports all my business needs perfectly. I liked this hotel from my first visit and and kept the high standard over the recent years. I am looking forward to coming back. 11 August 2014
