Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Time machine Let's start with the good. Very little good things. Great pool and gym. Staff very friendly and willing to help. Now the bad. This hotel is so old that I felt like in 1970. Carpet is very dirty and with stains all over. The A/C controls are so old and don't work properly. The furniture is so old that I feel I was in my grandma bedroom. The room smelled like humidity every time I came into the room. There is no ventilation, the windows are blocked and only open 10 cms, a silly idea when the room small so bad. I can't understand why this hotel is still an Intercontinental, have nothing to do with the other Inter I had visited. 26 September 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Greet hotel and staff. The carpets are disgusting First time in Colombia so maybe I'm being too harsh. But the carpet in the room was pretty disgusting and dirty. The bed was hard like a rock. But the staff was super awesome and the pool and restaurant were great. 31 August 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Simplify internet and staff more people I stay in this hotel very often, and like it very much --- just a few recommendations: 1. Check-in was slow due to understaffing at the counter 2. Why don't you simplifly access to internet --- putting that check on a box everytime my laptop turns off is uncomfortable, and I dont get why you need that --- and accesing from a kindle of my phone gets messy 3. Chang the rugs in the rooms, they are way to old 26 August 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Great 70s feeling to it, needs some modernizing All the hotel is in great condition, but not the carpeting in the rooms Furthermore, the hotel must go a little greener, and could axtually save some money to pay for the carpets: 1. My towels got changed and washed every time, you may give guests a choice to re-use towels and save on water and soap hurting the environment 2. Most hotels with card keys nowadays have a little box by the entrance where one can slip in and out the card to turn on and off all the lights at the room, that would be a good idea, it makes it more comfortable for the guest, instead of having to go checking out all the switches Staff is great, food is good, room service nice, view is great --- pool, tennis courts, good gym... great 18 August 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Staff not trained, irresponsible I've asked several questions by email before my stay. The staff responded VERY LATE, after I've insisted on my emails several times. Furthermore, they lied to me. I was forced to book a more expensive rate, and then, when I was there, the reception staff confirmed me that the 1st rate I've choosen, was good for me, so at the end, the staff lie mean I spend over 200 USD extra. 12 May 2013

It was a nice touch to have water and fruits to snack on upon my late arrival. The staff was friendly and remembered my name. I look forward to my next visit. 20 February 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Getting a bit long in the tooth...needs renovating... First off let me start by saying the staff is very nice and extremely accommodating. That said, I think they do the best with what they have to work with. First impression, at the front desk I noticed the typical clocks from around the world time zones on the back wall, seemed odd but they were all the wrong time, I inquired about this and was told they have been broken for awhile and never repaired. Not a 5 Star property because there are just too many bothersome issues here: In room, the carpets appear to be a bit worn and spotted from years of use. The bathroom toilet seat was broken, the electronic scale did not work and the shower control was loose and broken making it difficult to adjust the temperature of the water coming out. All these things may seem trivial but at the end of the day it is the little things that separates a 5 star hotel from a four star or even three star hotel. Other issues, the Internet WIFI did not work when I arrived and I needed this to work, when I called about it initially and three more times each time I was told it would be fixed in 30 minutes, 6 hours later it finally worked, about 10:00 PM. The website says that they can arrange for airport pick up when you arrive at a cost of $29.00 USD, sounded good so I called the hotel concierge as directed and made the arrangement. Pick up was timely and then I got to the hotel and I asked if I should pay or would it be billed to the room, they said it could be billed to the room and the price was $37.00 USD, then the agency that provided the service which is located in the hotel later asked me if I would like a ride to the airport when I checked out and I said sure if they could get the price correct as stated on the website. They said they just charged the price that was normal and that the hotel did my billing, asked them how much and now the price was $41.00 USD. It took two emails to the GM and two conversations to get the charge correct at $29.00 as quoted on the website confirmation I had received. The last thing of note was the Club level lounge had been relocated down to the lobby level in a meeting room, not much atmosphere, no windows, dark and I think a bit inconvenient for club level members, usually was empty which is odd. The offerings provided were all unmemorable which could be the other reason for lack of interest. I would stay again simply because the location is good and the staff were very nice, just needs a little work to bring it up to the level that should be expected at an Intercontinental Property. This was more like a Holiday Inn. 24 November 2012

Así mismo, la comida es una gran experiencia y el personal de los restaurantes es muy amable. Únicamente a mi gusto la cama es muy firme, por lo que la experiencia de descanso no fue la mejor. 13 November 2012
