Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceeding expectations for hotel stay in Australia Recently I stayed at InterContinental Melbourne The Rialto for three nights to attend a conference. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, every detail has been attended. This is quite rare from my hotel stay experiences in Australia. The hotel itself has been designed for architecture and art lovers. In addition to what one needs for a business trip, The Rialto really stands out for excellent services. Every staff member is professional, friendly and willing to serve you. The rooftop garden, indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and gym are also well equipped. And Alluvial Restaurant is fantastic for those who want to try modern Australian cuisine at its best! 14 December 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by First Visit to Melbourne My first visit to Melbourne. I had an early arrival flight and requested an early check-in. The staff did their best to accomadate me, but, my room was not ready until about two hours after my arrival. They did give me a voucher for breakfast in the restaurant to wait, which was nice. Overall, it was not an inconvenience and the staff was friendly. 13 December 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lovely Hotel Stayed here a number of times. Do not like booking a room via your international booking service..only like booking via the hotel. Restaurant was very nice..staff maybe not as helpful and professional as past visits. Standard of uniform for rank and file staff could be better and fit better. We had trouble with the air conditioning in our room...the issue wasn't resolved. front desk staff were excellent. guys out the front were on the whole very helpful. We stay in a lot of hotels in the course of our business...this is one of our most favoured hotels in Australia. We noticed less people eating in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner which was strange. As an Ambassador member, but in a wheelchair, I could not be given an upgraded room and given your publicity on this..you should have such a room...I would have liked to have been offered the Upstairs area for breakfast as it is a nice area...so who do you actually offer this area to...if not an Ambassador member?? Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mother/Daughter Shopping Weekend We recently spent a fantastic weekend at The Rialto, Melbourne. Every single member of staff made us feel as though we were the most important persons in the hotel. They were wonderfully friendly and helpful and could not do enough for us. The accommodation was superb and The Club Room just magnificent offering a lovely area to relax and enjoy the impeccable service offered. We cant thank you enough for our stay and will certainly return, next time with our partners and for a longer stay 08 December 2014
