My husband and I enjoyed every minute of our quick getaway in Melbourne. From minute we arrived the Staff looked after us. The concierge gave us great recommendations for dinner, we were so lucky to get a table at one of them. It was our 10th wedding anniversary and it was a trip to remember . Thank you ! We will be back every year!

We had a very enjoyable stay at The Rialto.
Location was perfect for inner Melbourne and the staff and service was excellent. Special mention to Arthur who greeted us on arrival then throughout our stay, his service and knowledge was outstanding.
Also a special mention to the two ladies in the Market Lane Bar, incredible service and always with a smile.
Only small negative was the pillows, struggled with these ....
The Rialto has become our place to stay when in Melbourne.

The staff behind the bar suggested a few good restaurants for us to try and we loved his suggestions. Overall it is a very business orientated hotel but it is in the middle of everything to either walk down to the casino or go the other way towards the emporium shopping centre.

Having booked this through the IHG website, I submitted a claim through the best price guarantee offer (as the hotel was cheaper on a different website)
Claim was denied as at the time the IHG staff checked the competitor rate it had gone up. I provided screen shots of the rate at the time of booking and was told theu don't accept screen shots as they may have been edited.
Spent around 3 hours on the phone with "best price guarantee" department with no resolution and another hour on the phone with the Corperate office in Sydney with no resolution. Arrived at the hotel with the staff well aware of the situation, as a platinum member was given a room upgrade and the staff where amazing!
However when it came time to check out I was offered $15 off my parking bill in Lou of the $300 I was owed from the best price guarantee not being met. Staff told me the hotel was separate from IHG and there was nothing they could do.

We couldn't be more impressed with the staff and service at this lovely hotel. From the moment we entered the hotel we knew we would have a wonderful experience. The staff were polite and engaging, knowledgable and helpful. They made us feel special - almost like celebrities. The delightful hotel scent, the curious and beautiful architecture of the foyer, the comfortable and clean rooms made our stay so enjoyable. We indulged in the delighful offerings of the Club Lounge and also enjoyed the range and choice offered at the breakfast buffet. We will return to this hotel - and hopefully soon!

Room good but breakfast very average. Never received 2 orders of tea or coffee and every table around us was complaining about the same thing
Pre ordered car 20 minutes from checkout and it tok additional 15-20 minutes past checkout when only 1 other person was waiting

Great experience. Friendly staff, great breakfast, spacious and clean room. Gym is spacious and modern equipped. Just the TV was reacting so slow that I gave up using that.
