Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel, great location The Intercontinental is well situated in an affluent and safe area of Mexico City, at no time during my stay did I feel uncomfortable. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, comfortable bed and pillows, quiet and dark enough to sleep well. The gym is surprisingly well equipped for a hotel gym and was never overcrowded during my stay. Breakfast is buffet style and caters to all tastes and needs. The lobby bar is large and airy, shows sport on a large screen, service is a little slow, but generally good. 22 April 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Unpleasant stay I'll start saying that I stayed in this hotel many times and the staff always take good care of me. However, the hotel is currently going renovation and this time it was really unpleasant. At some point the hallway of my floor was full of dust. At some other, the elevator area of the lobby was also full of dust in the air and you can hear the rubbish falling inside the elevator shaft. Together, with having dogs in any of the rooms or floors with no respect to others that may be allergic to animals like me, I spent most of my stay either under the influence of medicines or sneezing for hours. I think it is not very respectful to take care of animals but not to people. The hotel is very convenient and the staff is wonderful, but unless they control the remodeling work and create rooms for people with allergies to dogs, I am afraid I wont be able to stay there anymore. I hope that the Priority Club is able to regulate this. Thank you. 18 April 2015
