LOCAL
RECOMMENDATIONS
MORNINGRent a convertible and take advantage of the wonderful weather that we have in Miami. Drive through Old Cutler Road, which reflects the origins of Miami, to the most scenic park called Mathesson Hammock and enjoy the calm beachside away from the city traffic. Have some lunch at Red Fish Grille, voted in the top 10 most scenic restaurants in the US. Afterwards, stroll to the famous Fairchild Tropical Gardens with 83 acres of unparalleled beauty. |
AFTERNOONVisit the best local sports bars, Tobacco Road and Finnigan's on the River. Order a Mahi Mahi and a Mojito which are the house specialties. After the bar, visit Calle Ocho and try a cafecito or a hand-rolled cigar made by our local cigar makers in Little Havana. Experience a hands on tour of the famous cigar manufacturers and participate in a game of dominoes in the famous Domino Park. |
EVENINGStart the night dancing to the live Cuban sounds at Hoy Como Ayer, a local hangout for Cuban music aficionados. After here stop by the Rose Bar located in the world famous Delano Hotel at the Art Deco District on South Beach. You're bound to bump into a celebrity or two here. Finish your night at Mansion among the town's most exclusive dance club with the best crowd in South Beach. |

Interstate I-95 in Miami-Dade County has opened dedicated Express Lanes to take travelers in and out of Downtown Miami faster through traffic. The toll rate varies depending on traffic congestion and is posted prior to being able to access the Express Lanes. Tolls are charged through via the vehicles license plate. Check with your rental car provider for more information. PACKINGMake sure you wear light clothing, sunscreen and sunglasses. During the summer we recommend wearing a hat. Must pack: camera and beachwear. Nightlife as well as most restaurants prefer chic and elegant casual attire.
