Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great View! Large comfortable room and great bath. The only thing I would recommend would be a shuttle to the port. A 4 minute taxi ride cost us $30. I should have got his number and reported him. 16 December 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by excellent view to the Harbor We stayed for 3 night.The lobby is modern and high-tech. The check-in service is friendly. The room was on the 17th floor with nice view over the Harbor. The beds are comfortable. Nice pool. Good location.Good breakfast' There is no fan in the bathroom. Dust has collected in many places. The carpet looked old and dirty.The faucets in bathroom produced noise all night. There is no a fridge, but minibar and you are not allowed to use it as a fridge( ???!!!) 15 December 2013

I have problems with the recepcionist of room service , she has no good manners to attend foreing guest. Decoration and service of the new restaurant is great, i refer to Toro Toro. I stayed overnight at the Intercontinental in Miami last weekend and had a marvelous time! The picturesque setting on Biscayne Bay did not hurt either! Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dissapointing Stay I am an Ambassador member and try to book with Intercontinental whenever there is one available. I've been lucky enough to visit locations in Europe, Asia and Australia. I really like the brand. Unfortunately the Miami Intercontinental fell quite short of the other locations I know. Our room had a great view but was a bit below the upgrades I've gotten in the past. It was clean and confortable. However, water pressure was extremely bad. The sink had a sort of water saving faucet that had such low pressure it was hard to rinse our gads after washing them. When you add bad shower pressure it made our stay uncomfortable. Service at the Ole restaurant was bad. Coffee was undrinkable and when we told the waitress she said it was a fresh pot and had no alternative one. To her credit she seemed to realize the response was a bit out of line and tried to give an extra effort with the rest of the service. If it had been more than one night stay we would have had to move to another hotel. After settling my account I handed a note to the manager to avoid contaminating my comments with some sort of interest in getting something in return. After a couple of hours she contacted me back saying she was sorry to hear about my stay and since I had departed she couldn't do much to make up for it. She insisted on credit¡ting 5000 points to may Ambassador account. I thanked her. 06 December 2013

Not only was my stay at the Hotel as a guest a wonderful experience but as an attendee for the Words of Peace event with Prem Rawat a most memorable event and experience. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fastic Views & Service We had a suite with a beautiful view of the Bay. The bed was extremely comfortable and had a great sleep each night. Housekeeping service was excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful in any request we had. Close to shopping and adjacent to Bayside Market. When in Miami, I will be back! 02 December 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Little things can affect value I visit Miami regularly and this hotel covers most of the things my family expects in a 4 star+ hotel: impressive lobby, large rooms, clean, excellent location, awesome views, and very important-within short walking distance to great shopping and dining. The fact they charge for basic internet access was disappointing and the breakfast buffet was too expensive for the quality of food little things affect value. 02 December 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Why to limit connectivity? Most people coming to the hotel will need internet connectivity. Paying 12 dolar a day for an internet connection of regular capacity is not something that adds to the comfort of the place. The business center is good, but also very expensive. I know that for some charging more is luxus, but really not charging is executive. You offer two internet speeds. If somebody needs more speed it is fine to charge, but charging for simple internet should be revised. Of course it is nice to ask for a registration, but no more than that. 02 December 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible first impression We arrived on a Sat morning and our bags got lost. For almost 2 hours they looked, but never once apologized or offered to do anything for our group. Our bags were in a room with others going on a cruise ship!! We were there to go to a wedding, not a cruise. The whole bag process is a mess.... 27 November 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Biggest room I've ever had! Ok so The Eagles were playing at the AA Arena. I wanted a nice hotel nearby and heard about the Intercontinental. Had booked in advance so got a suite on the 31st floor. Huge suite. Clean, and a view overlooking the port. Full of conveniences like electric window shades, flat screen TV's, two bathrooms, did I mention Huge! The staff was friendly, got access to club suite on the 29th floor with complimentary Cuban coffee....Sweet! I definitely would recommend this place. Great restaurants on premises including a Starbucks! My recommendation is spend a bit more and get the suite, it's worth the price. PS- The Eagles concert was awesome! 26 November 2013

Luggage was delivered to lower floor which meant they had to be carried up the spiral staircase between the two floors which was difficult and dangerous. For these suites the luggage should be delivered to the upper floor. 26 November 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nickel and Dime You For Everything The property itself is nice. The lobby has been modernized and is sleek and new-appearing. The rooms could use a little bit of updating. The shower leaked from the one above--completely disgusting. The one glaring problem with Intercontinental Hotels nowadays is the problem with adding additional fees for every little thing. Want to go to the gym? That will be $15 per use. Same with internet access. And if you want to check in a little bit early? That'll be $100! I probably paid close to double my original room rate with all the additional random fees! Outrageous. 24 November 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by inter miami best hotel in town and always enjoy being there. however, to get into the room the business traveller needs to run the gauntlet. first the guy who removes the luggage from the taxi wants a tip. the guys removing the bags from the taxi insist that they will not deliver the bags and almost insist on a tip then you have the bellman quite unpleasant. i would like to leave $5 for the service and not encounter the constant request for tips when one has just travelled for a dozen hours. 23 November 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by lost pair of shoes To the staff at the hotel- I had a great stay at the Intercontinental Miami. However, I left a pair of shoes in the hotel and when I called that afternoon the man on the phone informed me that the shoes were gone. How this can be I have no idea! I literally called minutes after I left. My only assumption at this point is that someone took them. This is completely unacceptable. I am 100% sure that the shoes were in the room. What is the recourse for someone like me who leaves something in the room? I have had this experience once before and the hotel shipped me a shirt the following day. This made me very happy. Eduardo the concierge hooked me up with his iPhone charger for the length of my stay. All around pleasurable experience. 19 November 2013

There were 2 attendants for 2 guests and no one offered to help check billunder the door either I asked for email receipt and filled out a form to get my electronic bill...none came I called today to get a copy of my bill and had to leave a message!!!!! Not sure this hotel understands business travelers value of time. VERY POOR SERVICE 18 November 2013

From the time we arrived in a taxi and someone was there to take our bags for us, all the way up to when we checked out and somebody was there to carry our bags out for us!!!!! Our room was always very clean and the staff always there immediately whenever we needed anything!!! We stayed here with a group for a cruise and received special group rates because if it, but I would definitely be happy to pay the full rate for this hotel again because it was more than with it!!!!!!!! 18 November 2013
