Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by GREAT Location for a DIRTY Hotel Rooms were clean but once you used the facilities, another story. The fact that the hotel charges you a daily resort fee of $20 and can't service the areas is an issue. Why pay for the it when they can't even keep it clean. Property was a bit dirty and not clean. The Hotel room was great. We went to use the pool twice while staying there and both times the pool area was not clean. Dirty cups, newspapers, trash, towels laying on top of chairs not picked up. Photos attached of what we saw. Used the gym, and no towels available. Looks like no one was keeping up to date. The hallway trash was full for over 24 hours, room service trays were left in the hallways and not picked up during the off hours. Saw the same plates in the hallway at 10 PM that were still there the next day at 10AM. July 22, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Vacaciones en Familia Desde que llegamos al hotel, la calidad en la atención y el servicio fue excelente, la realidad es que todo el personal nos hizo pasar un extraordinaria estancia, todas las áreas que utilizamos son magnificas, el único detalle fue el elevador, es muy lento y malo, por lo demas es excelente el HOTEL! Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor room for family, small pool and lack of pool service You would think for The Intercontinental Miami that the pool would be the experience, not here. Very small pool and lacked seating for hotel size, seriously overcrowded for middle of week, nice outdoor self-serve bar but cafe only open 11-3. Overly spacious garden that could easily have two more pools and still have a nice garden. The room for a family of four does not work. The two beds are slightly larger than single size and not workable if you have two adults and two young teens. The bathrooms are overly spacious and guess that took away from bed sizes. If your staying as a couple and the pool is not what you had planned for a couple of days, your golden. We have stayed as a couple before for the night on three other occasions, without going to the pool and enjoyed our stay. Staff and service remain exceptional. July 20, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic Stay From the booking to check-out, everything was fantastic at this hotel. You name it - it was top quality. The one problem I have faced at not just this hotel but at most any hotel these days is the smell of spices that linger in towels and corridors from spicy ethnic foods being consumed in various rooms. ALL hotels must band together to fight this as it is an inconvenience to ALL travelers. I wish to clarify that this is not the fault of the hotel, but due to inconsiderate guests who do not understand the impact of their cooking or eating heavily spiced foods within guest rooms. Perhaps visitors should declare their desire to engage in such activities and be allocated to a special wing of the hotel. I admit I do not know the solution to this problem. July 18, 2015
