Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent service, amazing view, superb location on Miami Bay We had the most pleasant two night's stay at the Intercontinental.Downtown Miami and are looking forward to coming back soon. The staff is among the most friendly, service minded and professional we have experienced and we have stayed at many five star hotels around the world. Everyone including the front office managers, receptionists, concierges, restaurant and cleaning staff were very friendly, smiling, helpful and did their best to make our stay very pleasant. The service and food quality in the club lounge and the restaurant Torotoro was excellent (but music in the restaurant was too loud). The panoramic view of the Miami bay area from our wonderful suite was amazing. Next time we come to the Miami downtown area we will definitely stay here again. 24 January 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Suggestion I had breakfast in Ole. It was great!!! I would suggest that you open it for lunch, also. ****************** I was ill in the hotel for 3 days. I would have liked to have lunch in Ole at some point. I also think that it would be a good addition for your meeting and convention clients. Toro Toro was very good for dinner!!! I just liked the tucked away and quiet of Ole. The poolside café was good - Berry Soup to die for. However, not everyone wants to go outside for lunch. My experience was very good - met great people/employees, and was well taken care of while I was ill. Thank you!!! 23 January 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Executive Chef in Pastry Kitchen This is the fourth year that we have come to this hotel for a meeting and the Chef and Staff could not be more accomodating to us. They went out of their way to make sure they could complete every request we gave to them. Thank you very much for making it such an enjoyable stay at this hotel. 23 January 2015

You will feel like a princess/prince from the very moment that you pull up to the hotel. Our bellman, Henroy went above and beyond the call of duty, as well as our lovely server Isabella in Restaurant Toro Toro. You must try The La Bamba dessert in Toro Toro. Well worth the price due to the presentation. Bantu Or, manager really takes care of every single detail to ensure his guests comfort and satisfaction. Perfect. 19 January 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor check In and Smoke Smell in room We were offered to make a request for early check in and selected 3:00 PM. When we arrived at that time we were told that our room had not yet been cleaned and to return at 4:00 PM and it would be ready. When we came back to the Front Desk an hour later, we were told that our room was still not ready. We spoke to the Ambassador Club Rep who stated that "there were lot's of Ambassador members who were waiting for rooms". After a lot of discussion he found us a room which upon entering, reeked of cigarette smoke ( This is supposed to be a smoke free hotel). He finally found another room and had our luggage moved. 19 January 2015
