The hotel is in a great location and the lobby, bar, restaurant are all very nice. However the rooms badly need to be updated! The furniture is old, the bathroom is small, old tub/shower etc.
Good value hotel as long as you are ok with outdated rooms.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Excellent Service and Location
Location, Location, Location - for our weekend away, this is where we want to be. Steps away from Water Street, Old World Third, public transportation, etc., etc.
The staff was extremely professional and attentive to your needs.
The restaurant for the breakfast in the AM was wonderful food and good service.
The lobby bar was a good bar with very compatible prices to the surrounding area bars which is refreshing.
The only downside is that if you are a regular Intercontinental guest, this property is not as luxurious in the guest quarters area i.e. dark hallways, just sufficient room. This area is not the usual, just a little over the top, that you are used to.
All in all, we would stay again as the hotel staff made the most of the property that they have been given to present!!
Shout out to Benjamin that did an excellent job anticipating our needs and making sure we had anything else that we required.

No directions with check-in. Had to ask for Breakfast coupon even though we purchased the Breakfast for a Buck room. Was not told how to get to room without asking. Purchased the room upgrade, but did not get it, but was still billed for it.
