Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Can't beat the location on Cannery Row! We loved our stay here! We checked in after a long drive from Washington State. Check-in staff quickly got us a roll-away bed for our kids, since they only had 1 bed rooms available. The Valet noticed that our kids thought the white fluffy robes were the coolest and grabbed 2 extra robes for us! Our balcony view was amazing! It overlooked the courtyard of Bubba Gump's, plus we could see the bay. Bathroom was luxurious with plenty of towels and toiletries. Pool and hot tub are small, but we expected it. The kids still had a great time and we did have it all to ourselves one night. Be cautious with the wet bar. We had leftovers from a dinner out and there is no frig in the room, but a wet bar. We tried moving a couple items out of the way to store our food and it auto charged us for a cranberry juice and beer we didn't drink. Also, there is a a used stuffed sea creature left on each bed as a "decoration." We didn't realize while packing-up, but our daughter had stuck it in her suitcase, thinking it was a gift from the hotel. There is no sign that says otherwise; but, we were charged for the sea otter and had to call to have the wet bar and sea otter charges reversed. July 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by well maintained hotel in a great location We have chosen this hotel for our family vacation and were positively surprised by the very well maintained accomodation. The rooms were very clean and in good shape, the restaurant though requires a bit of a refresh. The front staff was very friendly and efficient during check-in and check-out. And the waiters at the breakfast were welcoming customers with a smile. Strangely, in this restaurant as well as experienced in many other hotels in the US, the staff at the restaurant front desk are less welcoming. They execute their duties but we were missing the friendliness, particularly in the morning. Other than that, a highly recommended hotel for families and others. July 27, 2015

Keli made us feel welcome and patiently answered our many questions. Valet, internet, and absolutely everything was great here. We will definitely make this hotel our first choice for the next trip. Our room was clean, comfy, and beautiful. Everything we could possibly need was provided. The location is amazing - a short walk to the aquarium, next to restaurants and shops, and right on the water. The entire grounds are gorgeous. July 22, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nothing short of excellence Many hotels talk about excellence. Intercontinental practice it. My stay from check in to stay in to check out was as usual done in a intercontinental way, which is a given when you are in that class of hotel and you pay for it. The real customer service is tested when there is an "accident" and you see how they handle out of a norm. When we checked out, we accidentally left our passports in the safe without taking them out. It was almost 4-5 hours later when we discovered it when we already checked into the next hotel 200 miles away. I immediately called the hotel and they instantly recognised my identity and informed me that my passports are in safe hands. They also assured me that they will FedEx it out right away and that I would be able to have them delivered to my hotel the next day. And the rest is history. Now, many hotels could do the same thing, but not many could make you feel safe and comfortable when situation right this happen. Many hotels do this mechanically and technically. But few does this with a human touch. This, is what I called Excellence with human touch. July 20, 2015
